One morning he was screaming to go out and I wasn’t ready to get up so I told him he wasn’t the boss of me, I was the boss of him. He swatted me upside the head. I accept that I’m just his minion.
They always know! I pretend too, try to breathe normally but when they start tapping on your face or rubbing their head on you, I can't control my laughter and start cracking up!
My cat does that. He will press his face right into mine in the morning. Even though I keep my eyes closed and pretend to be asleep, he knows.

We’ve also been swatted in the head, I’ve even been punched in the eye! They know who’s boss and we are indeed their willing minions 🩷
