I too collect hats, but only if I liked the course and they have a not-stupid logo. Shocking how many can’t come up with good merch.

Same. Started doing this because I travel for work and started bringing my sticks everywhere just in case I have time to golf. The collection is growing fast.

I collect flags and display them on a wall in my home office. Only from top 100 or unique/special courses though. Only negative is that they’re around $45-$50 most times. That and having them above my computer makes me want to play golf instead of work.

I’ve done a couple flags as well. I usually buy a flag if I go to a PGA event because it’ll be a track I’ll likely never get to play. I feel your pain. It’s a good reminder that the reason you are working is so that you can golf though!

At tour events I prefer to just keep the 18th flagstick with the flag in its entirety. Jk. But I’ve definitely thought about it

Same, although I dont discriminate on the course. If the course/club is willing to put their logo on a flag and sell it, Ill buy it.

Would you spend $300 for something of similar size of a flag but a much more refined piece of art with the course layout or one of the holes?

Probably not. I like the simplicity and uniformity of the flags, and compared to something that’s $300 they’re much more reasonably priced.

I recently started buying a logo ball from every course I play. Doesn't matter if it's a beautiful expensive destination resort or a crappy local public course. If they have a logo ball I buy it.

My dad did this and put them in a nice display. It is a nice memory of him to have now. (And we played a few together)

I'm a very giving person. So with that said I usually donate 6 golf balls of various quality to each course I play.

If it’s a PGA level course, I immediately try to keep a yardage book, even though I’m nowhere near good enough to know how to read it. Aside from that, a polo or a hat will do.

I buy bag tags if the course offers them. My older cousin who i used to golf with before drugs ended his life gave me some bag tags from cool courses…. Since then i grab one when available to remember the fun we had together

I’ve kept all my score cards since I started playing 2 years ago. They’re organized by year and all have a unique memory which is great. I add little notes too like “first par” or “first birdie”.

My notes: 50th shot into the water, 1st round to hit into every sand trap, first time skulling ball into a parked car in the lot!

Lost balls, which I promptly donate back.

What I always do for every new course I play is take a pic of the front of the score card. I save every scorecard pic in a Google folder on my phone. I'll never forget if I've played a certain course! Started adding notes to them such as last/ lowest score or birdies, special reason for playing there etc. Occasionally a ball marker or golf shirt if I really like the course, but that's rare now.

Ball markers, golf towels. I started off with towels because two favorites had them, but then I came across a nice course that didn't do towels so I switched to the seemingly more readily available ball markers. Decent chance a course I want to remember has either a nice towel or ball marker.

I try to collect course branded ballmarks/divot tools but you would be shocked how many 'nicer' courses dont carry branded things like that. 'sorry all we have are these $50 Nike dri-fit polos that we slapped our logo on and are charging $110 for'

ball markers and divot tools are my personal favorite. I had a harbourtown one that I lost on a course and I’m still pretty upset about it, however I found that one on a fairway a few years earlier so I guess what goes around comes around there. I have a Masters divot tool and ball marker set that was gifted to me too among others that I have.

I collect logo balls. I keep all of them, plus a few balls from momentous rounds (first time breaking 100, the time I got back-to-back birdies, my one eagle, etc.), in a large bowl in my man cave.

Any course I’ve played that has held a major I’ve a bag tag. 10 so far with Erin hills and Kiawah ocean to add this year. I’ve a steel cut out map of Ireland that I have a ball marker on the location of Irish open courses played 13 out of 21 to date
