I've been a little gay since I figured out all the guys I think are cool are typically found attractive by women.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
I realized one round that I no longer needed to keep 2 backup balls in my pocket, made me feel like a pro going up to a box with a single ball. I've still got the first ball I ever got through a full round with on my display case, with a spot next to it waiting for a hole in one!
Only the ones who skip leg day. Watch out for the cheeked up roided out powerbuilders on the course. They're a different breed, and those hips dont lie. They'll bomb a drive a solid 250 all day and shit in the woods in a perfect squat, A2G. You'll find them off on the adjacent fairway to the right.
Guy above you is a potato.
I've been on gear for like 8 years and I'm currently 197lbs and 7.6% body fat. (Or so the body composition scale at the gym tells me) I do legs maybe once a month. *ok, probably less.* And my 3 wood is consistently 250-270. Driver is around 300 but not as consistently accurate.
And you know what, one of these days I might learn how to chip and putt and I'll be able to get under 100... *no I wont*
This is AJ Hawk, all time leading tackler for the Green Bay Packers and not a bad golfer by any means. In 2021 his handicap was recorded as a 12 for a celebrity tournament. And yes he can definitely drive over 400 yards
Watched a fella like this tee off in the group before me once. He pulled driver on a hole that was designed to make you lay up. 315+ to clear the water.
He proceeds to unleash one of the most violent yet technically sound golf swings I’ve ever seen and easily carried it. I had to pick my jaw up off the ground before I poked my cute little 7 iron into the fairway.
Edit: I completely missed the grip at first glance. What in the fuck.
My old boss was like that. Said he was a scratch golfer in high school/college. Running late to be our 3rd in a scramble, so he meets us on the first tee box. No warm up or anything. Both me and the other guy hit middle of fairway but shorter. He proceeds to step up with one arm straight and the other bent at a 45 degree angle at the elbow. Think to myself as he's lining up "maybe he's just great around the greens and OH MY GOD THAT BALL IS ANNIHILATED". 305 to the middle of the green. I've never seen someone hold a club so strangely. And he was the most consistent golfer I've ever played with. Walked away with $250 and a rifle from the tourney. Gotta love the south.
M&P 15-22, post issues. Best plinking gun I own. Buddies call it the giggle gun. 25 round clip and zero recoil. Pull that trigger as fast as you possibly can and get a big goofy grin.
Yep. By can, I mean suppressor. A .22 through a suppressor is tons of fun. It's comically quiet with subsonic rounds. Like the bullet hitting the target is louder than the actual shot.
Super fun for plinkin! Probably the best can assassinator around. I gotta say though, lately I’ve been really enjoying my little Savage model 19 in .17 HMR with a nice little scope on it. Such a tack driver!
I went golfing with a guy from work once, he was built but not to this extent. He only played once or twice a year. So we are on a par 5, about 220 out and we were straight across from each other. He grabs an iron and knocks it on the green. As I'm looking over, I notice that his iron has what I think is a shit load of loft for that shot. Ask him what club he hit, "It was a 7 iron". All I could do is laugh
Yeah we were in an outing on a 325 par 4 up on top of a hill on the green when we hear what sounds like a gun shot and about 6 seconds later a super loud thud right beside us. Guy was a 6' 5", 240 lb MMA fighter and had driven the green. He came up apologizing, my uncle with the line of the day says, "if you are apologizing for hitting it 325, put it in the hole next time".
My buddy is like this. He played college and minor league baseball and is huge. The baseball swing translates to a great golf swing somehow and he absolutely demolishes balls. Always wins long drive in charity tournaments.
This guy's arms look so much like two giant throbbing dicks that it took me a minute to realize where he's got his hands on the club and what he's doing with that thumb.
Based on everything I know about this guy so far I would bet money that he looks like he’s swinging the club extremely hard but only drives 230ish.
I’d also be willing to bet that he gets way too angry on the course for how bad he is.
Can you imagine being so full of yourself that you think you figured out a better way to grip or swing the golf club than all of the greats who have played the game before you.
Does he swing the club or does one of those veins pick it up and throw it?
It’s that thumb secretly doing most the work.
I didn't even notice the thumb
How do you not notice the massive white thumb
I thought it was a vein.
I was too busy trying to figure out if it was Stabler from SVU
Man this is gonna be the day /r/golf figures out we're all at least a little gay isn't it 🤣
![gif](giphy|km2mais9qzYI)
I've been a little gay since I figured out all the guys I think are cool are typically found attractive by women. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
If that’s gay, call me Boy George
It's not gay, it's just a little gay.
It's only gay if nobody's crying.
Lucky for you it’s pride month.
Who’s going to be the one to tell him his grip is wrong?
![gif](giphy|28bmLzjOXTpNdmgqdi)
You gotta wait till he hits a bad shot, then tell him.
Absolute bear claws.
Those are ropes
Name checks out
Those veins are making me very uncomfortable.
I just spit out my coffee laughing. A+
Always a pleasure!
I’m fucking crying 😂🤌🏼
Probably went 10 yards passed the women’s tee🤣
fucking LMAO, thank you
Did it work?
The dude has a cargo pocket full of golf balls. I can't imagine a more obvious tell
Those actually help keep his swing speed down to avoid changes to the world's axis.
Nah, those are tubes of the cream that Barry Bonds used.
C’mon man - that was “flaxseed oil” and everyone knows it!
I realized one round that I no longer needed to keep 2 backup balls in my pocket, made me feel like a pro going up to a box with a single ball. I've still got the first ball I ever got through a full round with on my display case, with a spot next to it waiting for a hole in one!
Can’t see the hammer in the shorts hammer holster, but it’s there when needed. Gotta get up and down somehow.
💀💀
HAS to be a power killer. Dude is ripped and I would bet that my 50+ skinny ass would out drive him.
It's actually a governor of sorts to hold the club that way so he doesn't send the ball into space.
Makes sense
Roided up bodybuilders are also famously inflexible, I can’t imagine it’s a pretty swing
I’m 5’7” 150 and I can hit 250 that’s not wild. Id expect way more

Why bother with getting it in the hole when you can just drive it to the next tee box amirite
Faster pace of play!!!
Honestly, I skip putting a lot and just add 3 or 4 to my score, if I'm keeping score. I'm not going pro, I'm just there to have fun
Not entirely true… bigger muscles many times mean longer muscles as well. I know plenty of jacked dudes that are flexible as hell
50+ skinny guys all stacked on top of each other swinging one massively long club? Or what do you mean?
This is AJ Hawk, all time leading tackler for the Green Bay Packers and not a bad golfer by any means. In 2021 his handicap was recorded as a 12 for a celebrity tournament. And yes he can definitely drive over 400 yards
Hopefully they don't drug test in his league
Unfortunately one of your player's urine tested positive for 3 separate types of anabolic steroids and a low-grade... beaver tranquilizer
Goddammit Bernice!
God dam you*
No tourniquet required for this IV start!
Or for major hemorrhage. It would just instantly evacuate.
I could just lob a 16g in his general direction and get a good IV
"Do we have something larger than a 16G?"
No need for a central line here
You’ve heard of the Vardon grip right? This is a variation known as the Vardon’t grip.
Or Vardoff

That’s so badass. Man, if rifles were tourney prizes around here I might actually play in them 😂
M&P 15-22, post issues. Best plinking gun I own. Buddies call it the giggle gun. 25 round clip and zero recoil. Pull that trigger as fast as you possibly can and get a big goofy grin.
I have one 😊
That smilie says all I needed to know. .22 is the best ain't it?
.22 with a can is even better. Sounds like an old daisy red rider.
Semi auto with 25 round clips.
Yep. By can, I mean suppressor. A .22 through a suppressor is tons of fun. It's comically quiet with subsonic rounds. Like the bullet hitting the target is louder than the actual shot.

I have a small 3x scope on my 15-22 and it's a squirreling gun. 50yds in and I can hit a dime. Where I go with tall trees it's perfect.

Did he thin it??
Thinned or delofted.

can just tell by his whole set up bro is locked in an ancient war against the slice and has resorted to the dark arts to defeat his enemy 💀
Bro is hitting bombs and fuckin’ moms
I’ve seen more bigger guys with a snap hook, just too tight
Tren going hard in the mf paint
Bro is trying to use the world's entire supply lol
Does he throw the club farther than he hits the ball with that grip?
The only scenario this makes any sense is if there’s something medical wrong with his hands or wrists.
Bryson will test anything after a workout
This guy's arms look so much like two giant throbbing dicks that it took me a minute to realize where he's got his hands on the club and what he's doing with that thumb.
You ever try eating a snickers upside down?
Please go on…
I can't see anything at all just a tbox
Dude's 80% vein.
He probably thinks this post is about him
👏👏👏
Is that Det. Elliot Stabler?
😂
Thought this too! So glad someone posted it.
I was going to ask when did Dan Campbell shave his goatee off?
Near zero percent chance this works, right?
shortest r/golf hitter
Is that AJ Hawk ?
Johnny Sins
His cousin, Mike Hawk. He’s a veiny son of a bitch
His blood pressure must be 32psi.
AJ HAWK. AJ HAWK. AJ HAWK
Representing Anatticin, Ohio.
Former President of Ohio
He’s about to throw that golf club 500 yards.
You got a problem with my swing, shit stack? I've been to heaven!
Plot switch: he’s hitting lefty.
Is that the president of Ohio ?
That grip needs to be marked NSFW...
the glove still on the left hand
We need a video of his swing from OP, or at least some more details on the outcome.
I’m surprised there’s no veins on the driver
I thought John Cena at first.
Based on everything I know about this guy so far I would bet money that he looks like he’s swinging the club extremely hard but only drives 230ish. I’d also be willing to bet that he gets way too angry on the course for how bad he is.
Bingo and bingo
Dude took pto just to go out for a nice day of golf and gets fucking blasted on Reddit.
Yeah that grip is weird
You can’t see him.
God damn he’s vascular
Hard slice 50 yards...
Had to be an adjustment. Look at the right hand.
When you double dry scoop the pre workout before the first tee.
I can’t tell if he’s lefty or righty
We’re snacking on hot dogs at the turn, this thing is snack on stem cells.
Grow the gains
That ball either going 500 yards or 50 yards and no in between
You talking about juicers in the wild?
With that grip, does the glove do anything?
Didn’t know Dan Campbell golfed…
How’s the roids?
Best part is that cargo pocket full of balls ready to be misrepresented as this dudes tee shot
I believe that call the retardon grip
Always blows my mind when I see this. Either it's BS, or it's another person trying to reinvent the wheel. Just wild.
White tees huh…
In sofball, a few long hitters use an overlap grip to create more leverage and send the ball further than a conventional grip
Can you imagine being so full of yourself that you think you figured out a better way to grip or swing the golf club than all of the greats who have played the game before you.
That’s me. AMA
Still can’t hit as far as Bryson!!
Talk about a strong left hand….wtf is that thumb?!?!
The only real crime here is there’s no video…
r/nattyorjuice
Wait til you see him swing hard
Does he swing it like a putter with that grip
His grip or his veins?
Provocative grip and set up
Absolute unit.
Grip it and rip it I guess.
I just see a golf cart, and a golf club that I guess was photoshopped in since it's just suspended in air.
Quit taking pics of me
Get SOME!!!!!!
I wouldn't stand behind him. Looks like that club will fly right out of his hands
No idea how you can hang onto the club with any amount of speed but I’m not about to try and correct that guy
you've seen Patrick Welch?
Damn, nice!
Op I need to know if it worked
The thumb isn't nearly as important as that index finger pointed down the shaft. He has plenty of power, this assures straight shots.
Bro relax it’s just a game!
That is a peculiar grip style for sure
I didn't even notice the veins.
Looks great and I would avoid any argument with him at all costs.
He just scares the ball down the fairway
Armlock driver stance, y’all ain’t hip to it yet 🫨🙂↔️
I’m pretty sure that’s Dan Campbell
Man is so strong that he is claw gripping his driver
Holy shit arm lock for full swings
But the thumb tho
This is what I think I look like after I hit arms the night before a round
those arms are crazy tell him to hmu 😫
He looks like he is ready to test god
Ai?
Let the man play his game
lol I've never seen the claw grip on a driver.
495 yard drive- dude is jacked!!!
That’s a baseball guy lol
The golf ball doesn't know what your swing looks like, or your grip
He definitely has a full set of PXGs
The Old Steroid Grip…
You think they could hook the sprinklers up to those garden hoses and water the green?
Sweet setup.
Can we talk about the grip?
Isn't that the Vardon grip?
Cause of death: paper cut
1970’s handgun grip? He should just support his right wrist with left hand. Next level golf.
Dat grip, tho...
A phlebotomist's dream
🤔
“Good thing they don’t test in the local muni tournaments”
Then he tops it 20 yards
Which way is he swinging?
Yeah. He must work out.
Bad day to be golf grip tape
I think the cargo shorts are the more polarising than the grip.
XL overlap
Damn! Those shorts are fly.
You know he tops every drive or a MASSIVE slice
Bet that guy drives a smart car
Proceeds to hit a 150yd ground ball.
If there was no golf cart in this photo, I wouldn't be able to tell if he was right or left handed
