I sent out my 2080TI to RMA just a couple days ago bc my GPU died it was EVGA and it took two days to get my situation resolved and to send my gpu out to get repaired or replaced, it was super quick customer service
EVGA cards are usually more expensive. I went with Asus tuf gaming 3080....
I heard bad things about Asus previous GPU generation but this one was good
Rog STRIX is considered to be higher end than some others. Multiple sites have judged it as one of the best 3060 ti you can get. They seem to be slightly faster than average.
If you're looking at 2 cards priced the exact same, I'd go with rog STRIX if it's an option
I'm still running on a 980 ti Strix and never had problems other than replacing heat paste once. Awesome value and having a hard time replacing it. Will probably buy a 3060ti from Strix once they start going under the 500$CAD price tag.
If you go to my profile and find my black build with a tiny screen in it.. that one has an rog STRIX 3060 ti. It looks pretty. But to be fair, most 3060 ti look pretty lol
These days I don't think there's really good and bad brands. I've certainly never had issues with Asus, MSI or EVGA cards. Heard the best things about EVGA customer service and warranty though I've not had to use em in the 3+ years I've had an EVGA 2080. 5 year old MSI 1070 is still working in a mates PC too.
Just avoid Zotac like the plague, noisiest pos card ever. Went Asus now and it's dead quite in comparison. Also Gigabyte is one to avoid as they are normally very cheaply made ie plastic town.
My vote would be Asus or ROG strix stuff.
I'd recommend going for the 3070 fe. That's what I did. Prices are comparable and the 3070 is a step up from the 3060ti . With the founders edition you will be ok with the pin connectors if you have an older mb, and the power draw will be ok for a 600 psu. I asked all the questions before going for it. Feel free to reply.
That's the common opinion. I watched the o!technology videos and researched which give lower power draw. Using the pci express and single 8 pin, the power draw will be capped anyhow. I'm drawing 220w at most, leaving 380w free

These comments about Evga cs may have swayed me into purchasing that brand. Customer service is that important

Rog STRIX 3060 ti. It's the way to go imo
Could you tell me what it has that’s different than others?

That's what I went with. Rog STRIX 3060 ti...and I fuckin love it lol
Thank you for this info, and to everyone else who also provided insight
PM sent about an EVGA 3060Ti FTW3 Ultra, also one of the best cards.

Asus TUF.

Awesome. For some reason when I was looking my gut told me to avoid the Zotac ones lol

Interesting. I’m going to look into this. Nvidia recommends a 650 psu though. What’s yours running on?
An old 600 evga psu, and easily has capacity I will link
Damn. So when Nvidia recommends a psu they probably go much higher than necessary do you think?

This info is helpful. Thanks for this
Evga 600 w1 80plus, considered old now
Only 3x 3070s are available using the 8 pin only. Others need more. I'm still rocking an i7-7700k
