Idk who runs setlist.fm but it’s a pretty intensive database for all kinds of bands. I track my personal shows there so was used to the formatting and how to quickly pull in the setlist details. Hadn’t seen that D&C site so will definitely explore it.
Love this!!! Very interesting -- the frequency of songs seems different from the tours. I felt like they closed half of the first sets I saw with Don't Ease Me In and it's only been played once so far. Only 1 Mr Charlie and that seemed to get a lot of play, too. And, just one Bird Song and Cassidy. I guess without that Matt guy making the lists things are really different? Not implying good or bad, just noting it seems different.
I think we’ll see a lot more “weirdness” in the next couple weekends as the band gets further re-acquainted with the catalog. The Franklins and Help > Slip > Eyes, in set 1 this weekend, for example, indicates to me they are feeling pretty loose and exploring what’s possible…
Hey, did you by chance read somewhere that Matt is not doing the setlists for these shows? I'd be curious why since he always has done them and then the band will make edits if they feel like it before the show.
It’s particularly interesting to sort by a specific show in order and see when else songs from that set have appeared during the run. Imagine as we get deeper into June this will have a lot of interesting views.
Wow thank you so much this is excellent! Crazy how many songs they only played once, will be interesting to see how much they expand the song list, if they go with just playing the rare ones once or if they start to replay them (eg watchtower, La fadeaway).
Awesome job, from a fellow head and spreadsheet geek!
Formatting-wise, my colleagues who focus on accessibility would be having a meltdown. White on light green? Gray on white? Four shades of purple or green?
That would be great. I have some visual accessibility deals and it took me a bit to curtain through them but didn’t want to say anything to detract from this masterpiece on behalf of a personal issue— I’ve shared this at least 6x today and have gone back to it at least 4 times to reassess— clearly I LOVE IT!! A slight tweak of the color palate will be CHERRY!!!!
You did so good!
Made some tweaks this morning to up the contrast and make things a little more clear color formatting-wise. Haven’t done a color overhaul for colorblind yet, but I’m looking into it!
Cool idea. I’ve linked to Relisten pages for each show in order to provide as much choice on potential sources as possible. Also gearing up for the upcoming weekend… space has been added for the upcoming gigs!
You’re amazing! I’m going to have to move to viewing on desktop, me thinks.
(Off topic sorta, but could use an assist. I’ve shared your link on a few threads but don’t know how to “tag” you/op. Anyone reading this know how to do that?)
PS
Your sheet is the best of the sheets!!
Hey Robert- set correction from last night report by one of your sheet viewers:
Last night 6/14. S2. Tennessee should be Terrapin.
Also- sorry for the feature creep Buuuut, looks like there would be room at the bottom of the DATE row to have the setlists. Easy reference and all. And as the data piles up it could help with catching these types of teenieweenie errors.
✌🏼❤️💙
I hope this entire residency culminates in an official concert film release, a best-of that covers all the unique visuals they have used and will be using. That may be wishful dreaming, so at minimum I can hope the soundboards will get official releases.
I've been hoping for that too. They definitely have cameras all over the stage. I would be surprised if they're not recording the shows. I want the soundboards too
As a data geek as well, this is amazing. I’m heading out tomorrow for weekend 5 and so psyched. I saw a version of this sheet with column B labeled AT and can’t figure out what it means.. Perhaps it’s supposed to be hidden?
Haha :) yes, that’s All Time plays. Added in all songs that were played at least 2x. Was curious what they hadn’t busted out yet.
So far Viola Lee is the most played omission. Maggie’s Farm was the least played inclusion (2nd version played at Sphere)
I got my Viola Lee Blues tonight! Along with Dark Star. This three show weekend was amazing with a killer second set tonight. Thanks again for the spreadsheet and checked it after each show. I’m thinking about ‘borrowing’ your sheet to do one with the D&C shows that I’ve attended.
🙌🌹⚡️🌹 viola > dark star 🪐🌌✨
Edit: and please do copy! I’ve built one for My Morning Jacket’s 2024 shows (they’re at 100 songs played in 9 gigs this year). Have considered adding past D&C tours too. Just depends on how much work I need to procrastinate on…
The numbers in the column color blocks are the order of the songs. Opening set songs have special colors, etc. so a color box with the number “5” in it means that it was the 5th song played. If the color is Gold it was the opening song of the first set.
So for night one, 5/16, the 5th song played was “me and my uncle” and the “creamy” color block tells us it was the played in the first set.
So depending on what you want to look for… a particular song, opening songs, order of songs, etc, you can explore the various data configurations.
Edit: ooops! I didn’t realize this was Old Robert’s OP! I should have let him answer. I’m just a fangirl of this spreadsheet. He may have corrections to the above.
It’s cool to see songs played in different spots and data is always fun. Who runs set list.fm? I usually follow http://www.deadandcodb.com.

I’m obsessed with this. Thank you

Althea out of space is the best slot for it imo
This is a work of beauty! I love it so much!!
Thanks! 🌹⚡️🌹

This is awesome! Like Dead Base for the Sphere!
This is a brilliant concept with flawless execution - truly in awe of the level of detail. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us!
Wow! Thanks for saying so! 🌹⚡️🌹
I’m saving this until after my shows next week😄
Is there a missing West LA Fade Away?
All the way down there in row 98!
Just saw that, hadn't open the entire spread sheet. Great resource, thank you!
Wow this is awesome!
Yeah this is awesome.
Love the info.
Click the full link
Ah. Thank you. I’m gonna edit my comment now. Lol.
So they haven't played The Wheel yet?
5/18 they did
Thanks. Didn't see it on the chart
Is there a bigger data set with every song they played since the residency started
The link I posted at the end of the comment has everything!
I thought they played Maggie’s Farm?
Scroll down near the bottom, it's there
Got ya, i see it now.
Awesome job, from a fellow head and spreadsheet geek! Formatting-wise, my colleagues who focus on accessibility would be having a meltdown. White on light green? Gray on white? Four shades of purple or green?
Haha. That’s fair, I guess. Will add some accessibility tweaks to the punch list.

Lookin good!
Oh! If it hasn’t been mention yet, maybe in the weekend row the show date could link to the tape on archive?

I think the desktop view is a lot cleaner and offers more control of filters. Not sure if mobile and or app are as user friendly. Thanks for sharing!

I’m just very surprised they haven’t played Viola Lee Blues yet
Trying to make peace with the fact I’ll never hear a Dead and Co Unbroken Chain 😞
You can still hear Phil do it!
This is absolutely fantastic! Thank you for compiling and sharing it!

My guess is “All Time” but I’m anxious to hear what Old Robert has to say about it.
Yes. I woke up and realized "All Time". Makes list even better. I want a 'Viola Lee'!

See, Reddit isn’t ALL bad!
I fucking love you dude
🤣⚡️🌹⚡️
Have they played the greatest story ever told ?
Interestingly this one isn’t really in D&C’s rotation. Last of 7 total performances was July 2018 in Boulder.
No Dire Wolf
6/1 got a lot of one night bangers
Play Mexicali Blues dammit
Praying for dancing in the streets 20,21,22
I'd love to see a Half-Step>Stranger>Franklins
Nice!! Can you add a row totaling the num of songs played for each night? Thanks for sharing!
Added that!
Thanks!!!
They are all right about the same number. Nice! Stoked for our run in July!!
No shakedown?
The spreadsheet has all the songs played so far, the screenshot cuts off after the top 25 or so!
Think your dataset is incomplete - I know they played Maggie's Farm in the Sphere, but it's not in your spreadsheet
Line 84! 🌹⚡️🌹😅
OH! the spreadsheet showed up as a jpg on my reddit client and only showed the top songs Didn't know there was more!
Please tell me what at column numbers represent ?

Do you have an updated matrix to share on the sub? Thanks
Yep, it’s been updated! The same link should have all details through this weekend!
Thanks!
