Pretty crazy how fast it can get out of hand. As a teenager I started an SSRI as well as smoking weed and I blew the fuck up. And just didnt give a fuck. My whole family was on the hefty side, so I had also learned poor eating habits, which has been by far the hardest thing to relearn. I am short, and I was 320 pounds at 15. I am half that now. I see pictures from then and I can't fathom the fact that I looked in the mirror everyday and was still able to go out in public.

Started working out a lot and eating better and by graduation I was 200 lbs. now I’m 6’4” 220 lbs and decently fit, but when I ballooned up to 240 during the pandemic and couldn’t fit in my pants anymore it was a reality check and I got back on track.

Not universally true. I'm pretty obese (around 350 right now and dropping) but my hands still have plenty of definition, and my calves and forearms do too. There's still some fat that shouldn't be there, but there's plenty more muscle and callouses. Probably from years of martial arts and hard work. If I was a neet and never did anything for a few years I'd probably soften up even more.

I bought a watch done by an artist, basically only bought it because it looks really nice. Didn't care much for the resale value or whatever. See some reviews pop up in my feed after buying it of people ragging on it saying you're better off buying a watch 6 times the price and looking absolutely nothing alike. Just completely missing the point why the watch was made in the first place.

And replicas of such quality cost 400-900USD. So the difference between Rep Rolex and Real Rolex is the person who wears them.
But honestly, it is still overpriced. If you want nice mechanical watch, there are many Swiss options like Tissot for cheaper (500-1200USD) and there is Grand Seiko as well. Their mechanisms are as good as Rolex, it's just they are not as expensive.
