Based and ninja-Tuttle pilled

_TLDR_Swinton

Cowa-bummer!

Spare_braincell

Cowa-dunga !

GyverMcLaren

Fucking unexpected right there.

TheItsCornKid

The return of Septic Man, coming to a sleepless night where you just watch whatever on YouTube because you're too bored to go to sleep near you!

gasp_

There would be Dung and it would be Loathsome.

pectoralawakening32

Try not to Eat it

Skank-Pit

\>they tell me to get fucked Probably because they already spent about 20 years living with you and they are well aware how awful you would be as a tenant.

Sushi-DM

>Probably because they already spent about 20 years living with you and they are well aware how awful you would be as a tenant. Also, Boomers are terrible and absolutely have the 'fuck you, I got mine' mentality. A good mixture, maybe.

Awful_McBad

I was going to disagree but the only reason my Narc mother was open to me living at home was because it meant she had another minion to do her bidding.

MothWaifu1711

I learned it the hard way. We are not their children. We are their tenants.

PM_MEOttoVonBismarck

It's so fucking depressing reading posts about their parents on r/genx. Seriously fuck the majority of boomers.

MothWaifu1711

Im an early zoomer; my mother is I believe Gen X (like very late or very very early Gen Y) and she can charge whatever she wants because there’s literally nowhere to live here. So it goes beyond a generational thing, some parents are just garbage.

SpaceBug173

Bold of you to assume they didn't gift him an eviction notice for his 18th birthday.

iameveryoneelse

Guess they should have done a better job parenting instead of being self obsessed fuckstains.

eip2yoxu

Nah they just wanna have orgies with Harold and Cynthia

bluedragon8633

Dare I ask...?

SpaceBug173

He's Harold and Cynthia Both at the same time.

destroyerOfTards

Ducking bitches

aSquirrelAteMyFood

I read like five sentences written by this person and already think he's awful.

Spare_braincell

Boomers deserve to die. They had the best life at credit on their children. X managed to grab some crumbs, millenials drowned and zoomers have given up due to how piped the dices are. This system deserves to burn.

Guglielmowhisper

We had the chance during the pandemic to do that, but nooooo..........

Spare_braincell

COVID was a massive bummer, expected them to die in droves but they survived AND became the worst moralisators and paranoiacs. There truly is nothing in the boomers to redeem them.

Elliethesmolcat

A trash generation.

n00binateh

Hahaha

MarinLlwyd

There were attempts at social upheaval, but too many people cried about it.

djaqk

That wasn't the social upheaval that would help the average person. It would have greatly benefitted those already doing well, though. Trickle down is a scam

tukatu0

He's talking about some downtown riots. I don't even remember the names of the cities who had some.

Alex_2259

Got sold a house from either boomers or X because our real estate agent advised us to write a letter. We weren't even the highest bidders, they were just nice people. Right at the start of the Rona. Shit felt like getting on the last helicopter out of Saigon. We even "waved" inspections but inspection passing was a condition of the purchase, which it passed (also wasn't worried as they offered proof it passed a VA inspection). Also really good real estate agent (rich lady already self made who "enjoyed the fight") which also helps because she didn't really care about the money.

Kepler27b

Gen Z supremacy :)

Spare_braincell

Go get brocolier hair Somewhere else ;) gen y reigns supreme ! We had avian flu, mad cow, subprimes, now covid and the worldwide equivalent to bidenflation before we're even 30

Burning_Torch8176

if we get lucky then Z might have to serve in WW3! (although i personally believe that alpha will be the ones 18 when war kicks off)

Spare_braincell

Imagine getting smoked by a zoomer with a drone which then do a tiktok dance over your corpse and take a selfie with your dead body.  Teabagging suddently sounds respectful

greentintedlenses

Who the fuck calls us gen y tho?

Spare_braincell

millenials?

greentintedlenses

Never heard a millennial say gen y in my life

Spare_braincell

"y", now you have =)

Conch-Republic

Broccoli hair isn't really a thing any longer.

GreyG59

Why is the realest yet dumbest comments I read always from this sub

Spare_braincell

Because 4chinners tends to wander here to observe redditards in their natural environment ?

Warm-Iron-1222

Hey so, good news about the housing market. The American dream is alive and well, you just need to leave America to obtain it.

bigmatteo_91

Reddit moment, you are genuinely unhinged

HankMS

Hoy shit you are actually not okay, hm? It's really pathetic how so many people on Reddit unironically play this generation game.

Spare_braincell

It's pathetic you sucking up to a worthless generation but here we are.

HankMS

Lol, I simply don't give a fuck about arbitrary putting people in boxes for things outside of their control. When they were born is one of them. Judging individuals is based and being a collectivist is fucking cringe and pathetic.

Spare_braincell

Are you a boomer?

HankMS

No, I'm simply not a collectivist regard.

Spare_braincell

Then if you can't judge a group of people to determine their general caracteristics you're unable to have any view on society, have a good day and shut up on this topic =)

HankMS

God you are pathetic. A fucking loser, who blames others. Love those.

SmallerBork

Meanwhile my dad never wanted me to move out unless I got married

JFenixGG

that's miles better tham whatever fucked up relationship OP has with his parents

SmallerBork

I guess so, he's down on his luck but started my career with a lack of life skills they didn't care to teach me

Alex_2259

I recommend all my friends to avoid renting but save money living at home to buy a place. Rent just keeps going up but mortgage doesn't unless your shit government makes property taxes go up, which rises rent anyway.

diabeticSugarAddict

I mean some people need the life practice with renting. I know a lot of friends that couldn't cope with the upkeep required to have a walkable living space, cant have your parents/hired help clean your room and bathroom and kitchen and do laundry and dishes and cook etc. when you're at home. Also learning all the ways things can break in a house without having to spend your own money to get fixed. I wouldn't wish anyone to be stuck in a long term renting situation but also going from living with parents to being solely responsible for everything that could go wrong in the house once you buy seems like a mistake.

DexterBrooks

>but also going from living with parents to being solely responsible for everything that could go wrong in the house once you buy seems like a mistake. That's why good parents teach you to fix things and have you come help as things are going wrong to show you. I learned how to fix houses by helping work on two of them, so now I'm able to fix a lot of things and I'm prepared for when other things will eventually break.

vonmonologue

Not all of us have good parents. My mom was clinically depressed hoarder with untreated ADHD and maybe autism. My sibling and I both moved out before our 20th birthdays because at that point being broke was preferable to becoming broken.

DexterBrooks

That sucks. In cases like yours I can see the reasons renting may be helpful instead. My remark was specifically about why if one has had good parent(s) they should already have the knowledge and more that one could possibly gain from renting over owning. Many think they are being good parents by just taking care of everything. But it's actually better to teach them things by getting them to help out so that they can do those things themselves later when they need to.

liluzibrap

You cooked brother

DexterBrooks

Thanks lol

SmallerBork

Emphasis on good parents my man I have an okay relationship with my dad now but I don't know why he wanted to have kids when he doesn't want to teach them Also he threatened to have me arrested while making my older sister cry

Alex_2259

It depends, if someone actually can't maintain a rental not much hope for them IMO. A small house is pretty easy. You gotta face the yard maybe for an hour or 2 every week, yearly or more things like the HVAC maintenance, septic tank if it has one, etc. Keep 10-20k saved for big shit. Easy as hell if you have a trusted co owner to split with. Sometimes you may spend or do bigger projects yourself, but you get all the value of them too. I think being responsible for the ridiculous rising rental market and your landlord's whim is more stressful and more work. A bigger house is a different game, but you usually aren't facing this unless you have a family and whatnot.

SmallerBork

I did save money that way and have solid investments, but for various reasons, I became depressed. Some of it was just my personality, some was taking bad advice from them, and some was not getting therapy that made it take years before I got any friends again. My older sister moved out at 26. I moved out at 23, and my younger sister at 19 at the same time because my dad threatened to have me arrested while trying to keep him from making my older sister cry more.

rokomotto

It just makes more sense financially. Maybe if white people didn't kick their kids out at 18 we'd have more housing.

shadowsoze

Asian families usually want the kids to stick around too; my grandma told me if i move back home i can live rent free, just gotta help pay utilities and maintenance.

BiteMat

Same here in Poland, though parents here probably just understand that, given the current state of the economy, you're literally gonna starve to death on your own.

PM_MEOttoVonBismarck

I never understood why there's such a huge culture of either kicking them out when they're 18 or charging them market value? So many people who let their adult children live with them act like they're doing a massive favour to pet their child... keep living there. Adults are way fucking better to live with then teenagers. Teenagers lie, scream, steal, sneak out, get in trouble. Adults mostly just work and cry. If I ever get children they can live with me until they're comfortable enough and chose to leave, hopefully once they've bought a house. I think it's fair for an adult to pay for their own medical expenses, clothing, car expenses, chip in for food and utilities a little but I'd never charge them rent.

Mr-mountain-road

confusing tough love and straight-up selfishness.

SadCrouton

I always feel so sorry for people who’s parents don’t support and love them unconditionally

Ahriman27

Especially when the parents are well off and the child is struggling. They don’t seem to realize that they were successful because of their own parents, and their children are failures because of themselves.

Ok_Wrap3480

Then they get mad when their paycheck to paycheck kid isn't helping when they are bedridden.

VortexFalcon50

My parents only supported me as long as I was living out their expectations to get my bachelors degree. As soon as I had enough of school, they dropped me into semi-homelessness. A week after I told them I’m taking time off school to work full time they gave me the boot. My dad just comes into my room on a Saturday morning, hands me an envelope with some money in it, and says “move out by tomorrow”. I had no job (yet, I was still being onboarded back to my old gig at CVS), no credit card, no rental history, and no housing lined up, so I was left to live out of hotels and couch surf for 4 months until I finally found a rental. A year and a half later I have a great job, a nice apartment, and am fully financially independent.

SadCrouton

Literally they could’ve just told you to start the apartment shopping process (and gotten you a credit card/helped you) you would not only A) Have the same if not better position then you’re in now financially and independantly B) not damaging that relationship Im so sorry man

VortexFalcon50

Exactly. I asked them if they could give me a couple weeks to prepare and find a place, but they said no. And while apartment shopping I told them there’s absolutely no way I can get my own apartment without a cosign and they told me they cant help me. So I said fuck my dad and step mom, and asked my mom instead. She guaranteed the apartment for me and ever since whenever I’d hit a particularly rough patch, or lose a job, she’d send a little money my way. My mom has really been there for me when my dad and step mom havent.

Scottish_Whiskey

Bless her heart. You’ve got a truly wonderful mom who truly does care for you. It sounds like you’ve come a long way - I’m sure she’s proud of you

VortexFalcon50

I certainly hope so. What really irks me is how my dad and step mom say they’re “proud of me” as if they’re absolving themselves from putting me in such a situation by saying “hallelujah god has blessed us!!”

HunnyHunbot

Do you still talk with them cordially? I couldn’t help myself from only ever giving them one word answers or ignore them completely.

VortexFalcon50

Yeah I somewhat got over it. Dad calls me everything couple weeks and they take me to dinner on my birthday

PM_MEOttoVonBismarck

Later in life he may need you to take him to doctors appointments and help him clean the house when he moves into his expensive retirement home and you can tell him to get fucked

VortexFalcon50

Yeah i plan on keeping a good distance. He can get himself an uber or hire a maid.

PM_MEOttoVonBismarck

Later in life he may need you to take him to doctors appointments and help him clean the house when he moves into his expensive retirement home and you can tell him to get fucked

destroyerOfTards

Sometimes I think the asian way of supporting your children till they can actually live on their own is better although it can be damaging if held on for too long

VortexFalcon50

Exactly. I dated an asian girl for a few years on and off and her parents were so adamant of her stsying with them as long as possible. I would be so much better off financially if my parents let me stay with them and work full time. Maybe I even wouldve ended up going back to school.

trashdrive

>because of Bidenflation Maybe they don't want to live with their moron MAGA son again?

SadCrouton

I mean i do think this kid is probably a degenerate fs but this is a reasonable request. I feel like that is a parents basic duty regardless of political affiliation - same rhing for parents kicking out their kids cause they’re gay or trans. Idk im really lucky but i dont think i’ve ever done something or could do something so bad my parents wouldnt still love me

I_Am_JesusChrist_AMA

Turning your back on your own child because of politics is crazy and you'll hopefully realize that if/when you have children of your own. Parent/child relationship should be above that type of shit. If the parent truly sees their kid's political beliefs as a problem, then they should try to persuade them to move away from that or, failing that, just tell them not to bring that kind of stuff up in their home.

NuclearLunchDectcted

Hope anon remembers this when it's time to put them in a home.

_TLDR_Swinton

Or pulling the plugs...

Alex_2259

Shitty government funded home, my retirement plan if I end up in that is legitimately suicide, but I fund a retirement account like my life depends on it in the future because it actually does. Shared rooms, no privacy, no freedom, nothing. Legitimately a somewhat more comfortable death row, would rather die.

Rhymeswithfreak

but you get to sexually assault the workers and nothing happens to you.

aSquirrelAteMyFood

Average 4chaner's wet dream

Expand770Enthusiast

I've seen geriatrics wards, and I've never met anyone who works in one who wouldn't neck themselves first. I strongly suspect we're going to see a lot of elderly suicides in the next 50 years as the demented take headers in moments of clarity and others decide to pack it in for reasons like yours. Shit, most staff seem to have independently started called them some variation of 'hell's waiting room'.

Alex_2259

I want to retire somewhere in Europe, no car dependency means I keepu independence longer. Reliant on nurses in a boring death row hell's waiting room? Rather 🕊️🪦💀🔫➰ save my fucking family the expense. There's a reason that retirement fund is untouched even if it could pay off all my personal debt aside from mortgage.

aSquirrelAteMyFood

He's broke and they've got money, he won't be putting them anywhere.

NuclearLunchDectcted

They have money for now. People with money do stupid things like get addicted to casino games and blow it all without thinking.

tsibosp

Guess your parents are pieces of shit. My parents didn't actually want me to move out and I sat them down to tell them that's it's unhealthy for a 30+ year old to live with his parents. Living by myself for a while now (39 years old) rent has gone way up in my town while wages are the same, got lucky my landlord has not increased rent yet. A month ago he hinted that he may up rent and I told my parents I don't know what to do if he does because it won't be economically viable anymore. They actually got happy and are already making plans to renovate the house a bit in order for me to be more comfortable when I get back! Bottomline your parents are a little bit assholes. Act accordingly.

BrockinInDaFreeWorld

Have you considered not being poor?

water_bottle_goggles

![gif](giphy|dVzxUuoHuWsHBHopkD|downsized)

BoiTarantado

Your fault entirely my guy. You had the option to both save and support your parents but you decide to go solo. Should've stayed with them, nothing unhealthy about it.

Kotoy77

I will never understand people who leave their parents (assuming a good relationship), especially as an only child, to go live alone. Less income for higher expenses, you are alone, they are alone, nobody wins.

sir-berend

If you have (or want) a girlfriend/kids or want any form of privacy or independence its kinda necessary.

Kotoy77

I specifically mentioned going to live alone. Starting a family is another thing. As for privacy and independence, it heavily depends on how understanding everyone in the household is, but its definitely possible.

tsibosp

Newsflash my friend, most people don't live in mansions 😊 Nothing sounds better to a potential girlfriend like the "so sure let's go to my room for Netflix and chill but we have to keep the voices and volume down cause my parents are asleep next door". Sure it is possible but it's not healthy for both parties.

Kotoy77

Peak r/greentext reading comprehension. I said in both of my comments, specifically, people going to live *alone*.

sir-berend

Corny ah

BoiTarantado

American Family moment. (This rarely happens everywhere else in the world, as parents actually care for their children and do not want them to struggle)

RelevantMetaUsername

I visit a lot of homes for work, and immigrant families almost always stay together even after the kids grow up, get married, and have children of their own. It's common to see 3, sometimes 4 generations living in a single home. Hell, even in the US people used to just keep living with their parents until they eventually inherited the house from them. Somewhere along the way we convinced ourselves that kids *must* move out at age 18 or they'll be considered failures. I'm starting to see that change with my generation (Z). Not really out of choice, but simply due to the absurd price of housing and student loan debt.

BoiTarantado

That is how things has been for thousands of years.

Wasabaiiiii

I knew it was weird but I actually never thought of it that way, huh… you enlightened me—thank you for that.

consuminshadows

It's probably socially constructed, so that way people are out giving more money to renters/buying houses faster. I get made fun of for living with my girlfriend, brothers and mom at 24, but I love it.

RelevantMetaUsername

Haters gonna hate

FinestCrusader

I wonder how do they manage to live in 4 bedroom house with 20 people and not go insane

BoiTarantado

Imagine this: Split the family into groups; 6 working adults, 2 earn 3k a month, 4 earn 2k a month. (14k total) 4 teenagers with part times that earn 700~1k a month. (2800~4k total) Rent is 4k a month. And other expenses is 1k. Each adult splits the bill, those who earn 3k fork over 1k each, those who earn 2k forks over 500 each. Paying out rent. Now they do a little more mumbo jumbo, payout other expenses and eventually their combined salary (which they spend on themselves or split again for food) is still at 12.8k~14k. Tl;dr. Most other non-american families (or English speaking households) have a very strong sense of family and support each other in any which way. Americans used to be like this until women started laughing at men who do this (despite also being like that themselves) and eventually a stigma started where if you're 18~22 years old and still with your parents, you're considered a "failure"

ekobeko

This happens in the UK too

rubrent

Because OP is stupid and thinks the president controls the economy, when in all actuality inflation is felt around the world and it is due to corporate record profits and greed. Who wants to live with an idiot? Not OPs parents apparently….

UltimateInferno

[yeagh](https://fortune.com/europe/2023/12/08/greedflation-study/) > While this obviously contributed to rising prices, the report finds that company profits increased at a much faster rate than costs did, in a process often dubbed “greedflation.” > Profits for companies in some of the world’s largest economies rose by 30% between 2019 and 2022, significantly outpacing inflation, according to the group’s research of 1,350 firms across the U.S., the U.K., Europe, Brazil, and South Africa. (The rate of inflation since COVID is on average generally around 9-11% vs the 30% growth in profits reported)

MetaCommando

Turns out forcing all the small businesses to close while megacorps are "essential services" would damage wealth distribution. There's no way anybody was predicting that in 2019.

FriedGamer

not wanting to live with your son when he's in need because of politics is wild

Open_Argument6997

Cant have swinger parties with you can they ?

Facesit_Freak

Not with that attitude!

Martian_Hunted

True

Anlarb

"Bidenflation" https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/BOGMBASE Sorry OP, the tests came back positive, you're a dumbass.

osbirci

Amount of cash in economy is higher? And it starts to get high biden administration.

Anlarb

biden was sworn in jan 2021, that is after that giant vertical line in 2020... for a few months he was afraid to take his foot off the gas but eventually he put the car into reverse.

Connect_Ad_3361

Anon didn't write the part where he's probably not actually going to save up the money and he's just going to live with them as long as possible. 6 months my ass.

MayorMcCheezz

That spare bedroom is their naked room.

chrispdx

Boomers: KIDS DON'T WANT TO WORK THESE DAYS, WHY CAN'T THEY JUST GET A SECOND JOB?

MustGame995

ameritards are so cucked by their parents imagine not being supported by your parents until you want to move out

MarinLlwyd

Hopefully, no one ax murders them in their new ranch. That would be awful, and their children would inherit the place and be forced to live there and start a family.

I_Automate

Jokes on you, they willed the house to the church

Sylux444

If people really want someone to blame, why not look up the owners of monopolies that actually decide on price changes? Or their board members? They're not just anonymous shadow people running around, they have names and addresses!

TheKrunkernaut

Direct action mfs be like.

WolfieTooting

Anon's parents need that spare room for all the sex parties they are going to hold.

blbrd30

It's cause anon believes in "bidenflation" and refuses to learn how the economy actually works. Parents are actually just extremely based

SOMEMONG

In the UK as well, there's definitely a "you're 18, now fuck off, we want our lives back" attitude to ones own kids that's widespread, at least from boomer and gen x parents. It's fucking disgusting. I genuinely don't understand why people like that have kids at all, did they understand it was optional? They usually didn't enjoy spending time raising or being with their kids (my own parents included, though my mum wasn't as bad). I'm gonna be a dad soon, and I won't be perfect but the one thing I wanna do is make it clear that the kid is loved and wanted.

Dd_8630

They probably don't want Anon's convicted paedophile ass anywhere near their ranch.

googlin

They've suffered enough years dealing with anon's crusty waifu pillows.

WintersbaneGDX

I was kinda on side with Anon until he dropped the "99% white" part. I'm not ignorant, I get why that's relevant and what he's getting at, but jfc don't go outing yourself idiot. Beyond that I'm on side with the general tone of this thread. Boomers fucked the lot of us, COVID was supposed to kill way more of them and I'm low key pissed it didn't.

Bob_loblaws_Lawblog_

Depends on the Boomers. I have a house being built in Fayetteville AR around October, when the pipes in my Seattle apartment burst, my parents invited me to live with them in Orange County till my house is ready rent free. Since I work from home and they have a little mother in law/man cave I accepted. I've saved almost 10k since Feb. My parents are Fox News watching hardcore evangelicals, but they're generous people, and I owe them alot. OPs parents suck dick though.

miscellaneousbean

Damn this made me love and appreciate my parents even more

WrumGapper

You can't actually be stupid enough to think the inflation effecting the entire world economy is Biden's fault. Republican brain rot at its finest.

Salamadierha

Parents :: Boomers OP is 50 years old, no wonder the rents don't want him back.

Big_M_Memes

I always get so fucking LIVID when i hear stories about parents being assholes. Nobody chooses to be alive, it's the parents choice.

Fantastic-Garden8525

Based parents

Thin-Sand-2389

Retirement home you go

Caveman-Riffs-666

Some parents really hate their kids

BlackwoodJohnson

That’s one way for parents to end up dying alone in a nursing home.

deathhand1234

They are helping you in the long run

Signal_Character7751

750,000 for a ranch in the suburbs? Where the fuck do they live? That is a retarded amount of money to spend on a ranch style house with no acreage. Custom built doesn't justify that cost, Anon has got to be full of it unless it's California or something.

MyHeadIsFullOfFuck

Every house in the city I live in is valued at over $1,000,000 CAD. I live in Canada. Expensive places really do exist.

Signal_Character7751

Fuck dude. You got to get out of there. Cost of living is nuts

Marik-X-Bakura

Why was it important to mention the race proportions, anon?

DragonlordBlake

Anon has shit parents

Generally_Confused1

My partners ex husband is like this. Trust me, run before it's too late lol.

VortexFalcon50

My parents have a $1.1m 4 bedroom house in a very nice area. They forced all their kids including myself to move out so they could have the house all to themselves. As a result I was homeless, living out of hotels and couch surfing for almost 4 months. They didn’t give a shit. They just wanted their space to themselves in their big house with rooms they use for nothing but storage.

Thin-Sand-2389

Abandon them?

VortexFalcon50

I pretty much have. Dad only calls me once or twice a month. Only ever see them when they take me to a birthday dinner. At this point they’ve screwed me over so much I just stay around to keep myself in their will.

Thin-Sand-2389

Fair when you have the opportunity put them in a retirement home

Fun-Pollution1465

That’s when you never talk to them again

No-Section-4385

Take advice.. And never worry about rent ever again. How else do you think they afford that house anon not by working honest life that's for sure.. So get on them knees.

boxofrocks14

Biden unfortunately did not cause the housing inflation problem, that was actually Reagan. So it’s Reaganflation

SunderedValley

>Why are boomers like this? I heard that it's in large part because they never really felt properly taken care of by their own parents.

Missingbullet

Something is missing from Anon's relationship with his parents- like that he's a loser and tried to steal from them. In which case, this ain't a boomer thing.

stryker_o

My own mother kicked me out after i was assaulted by her bf i sometimes wish i had a little better parents

BathFantastic8761

Bc boomers like that are greedy

JacobLuck

imagine thinking Biden is responsible for the inflation

traw056

Because he is. Everyone knows that the current president is 109% responsible for inflation. Hes even responsible for the inflation happening all over the world. It’s definitely not the billionaires who keep getting exponentially wealthier while everyone else stays the same by increasing the price of everything. /s

JacobLuck

nope it's a global thing, I'm from Germany and we're responsible for our own inflation, thank you very much

traw056

I know I was being sarcastic :(.

JacobLuck

damn bro, my bad lol

bcycle240

My mom died when I was in high school. Social security sent money until I turned 18. It all went into an account for college. There was close to $30k. After graduating high school I took a year off, but was accepted into a college. My dad used all the money to renovate his kitchen. I never went to college because I don't like debt. :(

Thin-Sand-2389

Kill your dad? And serio sue that money is quite literally yours it would be a easy lawsuit

2based2cringe

They’re gonna recognize that they destroyed our country when we can’t afford to take care of them in their old age. It’s depressing but true. Oh you want me to pay 90k a year for a live in retirement home when you’re old after kicking me out at 17, fucking me out of any stability as a young adult, telling me I’m a fuck up for wanting to join the Army, actively choosing to lie and say shit is easier now than when they were my age? I love you mom and dad but your lot did this to us. I will likely never own a home in my lifetime but somehow it’s MY fault Fuck boomers

Anon is obviously a bootstraps rhetoric type of guy. Asks mommy and daddy for parental welfare. Gets told to pound sand. Gets on forums and complains about people on welfare. Probably.

Thin-Sand-2389

Whole lot of projection

Primalbuttplug

They want people to fail so they can tell them how great they are. When in reality they created, and perpetuate, all modern problems in some form.

BigJeffe20

OP is definitely a freakshow

Supersquare04

OP is leaving out a ton of details of how he is a horrible person to live with, terrible family member, and irresponsible person in general that trashed their previous home.

Quest_Objective

But boomers bad?!

Kardospi

I agree with your parents.
