I believe Cristina is much happier in Switzerland than she would’ve been in Seattle though, so I would want it to be like her Minnesota episodes where she’s doing her own thing but we still see and hear from her and she interacts with Mer on screen still.

But as interesting as it would be to have her back as a surgical oncologist and maybe get some good storylines for a change, but it messes with the whole Alex story.
Derek slipped into a coma and they found out while Meredith was “away” and they decided not to tell her so she could move on. He comes out of it and finds Meredith and they live happily ever after!
Christina is happy in Switzerland , can’t drag her back to Seattle.

The only reasonable answer is Cristina and George/Defek. Simply because anyone else that’s dead has too many attachments to the other dead ones and I can’t fathom what a life like that would be like for Lexie or Mark. Maybe even Derek cause of the family again. But still.
Cristina in Switzerland and George - I was really looking forward to seeing him grow up and come into his own, pick a fellowship, etc. I think a grown-up George would've been awesome.

since callie isn’t here (because i genuinely think we’d get the sweet happier callie back if she never lost her bestie), i’m picking cristina. with everything that happened to meredith, i really think it would have been good for her to have cristina around all the time. if meredith ever has a complete exit, moving to switzerland and being close to cristina, alongside a good university or high school for zola, that would be perfect.

Alive Christina definitely. Dead is trickier think it would have to be Derek for mers sake. But leaving mark and lexi dead is heartbreaking but I'd want them together. So guess that solidifies the Derek.
Also love Addi but we did have a lot of her with her spin off so don't feel she's lacking
Lexie and Addison. I would love to hear their stories about mark 🥲 and TBR Addison and Meredith with their love for Derek would be an absolute win for the show. I can imagine Addie being there for the kids and telling them stories about Pre-Seattle Derek 😩
