Both. Sometimes I check the time. Sometimes I admire the jewelry. When I first get the watch, 90% is just admiring the piece but then it’s more like 25% admiration and 75% actually checking the time.

I had this for awhile but sold it to fund another purchase. It's a beautiful G-Shock. I'm back on the G wagon though... just bought the white Manga, en route from Japan.

If something is more important then there's no excuse. Great decision on the white Manga. Blue one is meh. The white is superb.

I personally own a titanium square G-Shock watch. In my opinion, these watches are true tools, unlike Swiss automatic watches, which I view as more like pieces of jewelry. As of 2024, I believe G-Shock remains the genuine tool watch.

Yeah, that's why I didn't get a swiss as they're more expensive and likely to break easily than G, with how I am with watches. And I don't like wearing "jewelry" too.
