I can't even quantify it into words that would make logical sense. It just wasn't for me, I didn't enjoy myself there whatsoever, and visited all over while I was there.
I can attest that I felt serious culture shock when I moved to Colorado from upstate New York. When the culture is so different, it can be hard for some to make the new place feel like their new home.
