I would say the Summer Soltice in the northern hemisphere. Itβs when the days begin to get shorter and the vast majority of blooming and fertility in nature has already occurred, now approaching its way toward death and darkness.
I think summerween is just celebrating spooky during summer. I've seen YouTubers doing all kinds of dates for summerween and various activities. My favorite was scary movie night, but one night of decorations seems sad.
If you're talking about the version from Gravity Falls, that's June 22nd. But for some of us Halloween really is every day, summer or not! lol
