May 12, 2560 ONI REQUISITIONS REPORT CLASSIFICATION: TOP SECRET - FYEO TO: Commander Spartan-B089 Lloyd, Fire Team Cerberus CO FROM: ONI AI - Hammer, Aboard Mobile Space Armory UNSC Hephaestus Subject: Special Delivery! Commander, Per our gathered telemetry data based on your performance in live combat scenarios, your requests, and unfortunately our limited resources due to the current AI uprising under former UNSC AI Cortana, your MJOLNIR MK VII armor system is complete and delivered to you on -REDACTED-. At your behest, what follows is a report detailing your new components and summary of their design and function. Helmet: CQB Developed by Beweglichkeitsrüstungsysteme, and informed by testing of MJLONIR permutations, including your now previous CQC variant. The MJOLNIR POWERED ASSAULT ARMOR/C Variant or Close Quarters Battle (CQB) Armor, was designed to improve survivability in close quarters engagements. Based on your combat telemetry results, we have selected the CQB helmet to increase your lethality in the field. Note its reinforced build and the shape your visor: it is specifically crafted to maintain high field of view, while considerably reducing the weak points when compared to baseline MJOLNIR helmets. VISR System: Vannak-134 Your VISR hardware was designed with input from fellow CQC enthusiast, VANNAK-134. You will find it on shock-hardened mountings with numerous redundant data processors. The system will help you analyze a target: within a user determined CQC range, is better able to coordinate your augmented abilities with MJOLNIR systems. In addition, it auto-adjusts for variances in target: size, species, average estimated speed and strength, and on a limited basis; vitals. Chest: UA/X800 Plate Your chest plate is augmented with Korolev Heavy Industry's testbed for methods of stacking NxRA plates. In addition to the classical implementation of up armoring, your shielding tech has also received an upgrade. The applied electromagnetic support shielding will help your energy shields better take alien weapons fire. Not just Covenant and Forerunner, but Promethean arms as well. I don't think it needs to be explained how this will enhance your close quarters talents. Shoulders: UA/Teutobod shoulder plates Your shoulder pauldrons (also designed by Korolev), are designed to provide protection equivalent to baseline heavy MJOLNOR permutations without restricting your movements or adding too much bulk to your silhouette. You'll be able to rival EOD class protections while being able to chase a Ghost on foot. Don’t mention that to the bomb squad. Gloves: Striker's Gloves You'll find that nomenclature from Korolev quite apt. These gloves are tailored for those special, brutal, CQB encounters. Reach out and touch someone, Commander. Wrist: TAC/Holodyne Milspec Emitter Your right wrist contains a compact and interactive holographic emitter. You'll be able to display holographic images of people, objects, topography, geography, building blueprints, and ship schematics. Damn near everything really. Utility: TAC/MX Cutter Your left thigh now holds a razer sharp, and, heavy UNSC machete. A friend in low places, if you will. Use your imagination. Kneepads: UA/Type MX And finally to wrap up: your kneepads were designed by Emerson Tactical Systems, with some, ahem, "input" from BWS's UA/Type CQB kneepads. If you take a knee, you'll likely be taking someone else with you. At your service Commander, UNSC AI Hammer, ST: HA482E5

This creativity is what I love in games. There is literally no reason for you to have done this, but the fact that you’ve came up with your own story and head-canon about your character and their armour is so interesting and cool to me. Amazing armour too, looks amazing. Very tacticool.

Bsquared89

Thank you!

TheElusiveGnome

Hell yeah bro. Love when we add lore to our drip.

RudenFoxx

Hey man I want to make a Spartan OC and Spartan armor who is a part of the Navy branch and seeing you make all of this I was wondering if you could be able to help me because I want to get back into Halo and stuff

Bsquared89

Yeah man! What are you looking to do?

RudenFoxx

Mainly I'm looking for armor customization and as I've said I want a Spartan who serves in the Navy branch of you know what I mean

kamidrgn

Bro this is awesome, this is what it’s all about 🔥

scariermonsters

I'm absolutely gonna have to do this for my Spartans

Ok_Pick_356

Mjolnir doesn’t have a visor. All of the helmets use cameras to generate the image on the inside.

Dilpickle6194

This is just patently false. Earlier systems of Mjolnir did not have a camera at all: I believe it was in Silent Storm that Chief gets a goo on his visor that obstructs his view and he makes a note to request a hydrophobic coating for the next mission. In one of the Veta Lopis novels, Fred is seen depolarizing his visor to show his face. In Halo 4 and 5, the player POV has even the little bits of metal that border the actual visor. Cameras are now used *in conjunction* with traditional visors except for armors like Gungnir that do not have visors at all.

Teneuom

[No it’s a camera system.](https://www.reddit.com/r/HaloStory/s/vhkb2kT3F5)

Dilpickle6194

…Are you just going to ignore the three separate examples I gave proving you wrong? The post you linked is worthless. How about another one: at the end of Reach, Noble Six’s visor develops multiple cracks that you can see *on-screen* as you play.

Teneuom

Fred is able to drive while not looking at the road. An emp knocks out their visuals. Gungnir looks the exact same on the inside as every other helmet. In fact, every single helmet has the exact same hud layout despite having drastically different visor shapes. Also Emile’s scratched up visor. Why would he lower his visibility purposefully for the only sake of looking cool? Probably because it doesn’t actually lower his visibility.

Dilpickle6194

>Cameras are now used *in conjunction with* traditional visors Can you read?

Teneuom

…Are you just going to ignore the three separate examples I gave proving you wrong? The quote you pasted is worthless. How about another one: at the beginning of Reach, Noble Six’s visor is non transparent before putting it on. We should be able to see his legs through the helmet, but it’s completely opaque. Also, not to mention, every helmet has the same interior in that cutscene. Actually let’s give reasons for the shit you spew: The goo was covering the lenses, the crack is on the camera lens, Fred physically lowers the visor in Troy Denning’s books, not a depolarization, but physically retracted it, the bits of metal are representative of the screen on the inside of the helmet (as proven by the halo reach opening cutscene having the same inner ‘visor’ regardless of helmet).
