Been thinking about getting some IEMS, how are they for fatigue over long listening sessions?

Knale

I've basically become someone who exclusively listens to IEMs despite starting in headphones a few years ago, so I'm pretty used to them, but generally I think as long as you're ok with something sticking in your ear for a while they're pretty comfortable, and the fact that they cut so much outside noise means everything just generally feels a little quieter and more focused with them.

Are these fully vented? I love the warm-neutral sound of the 41t, but it really annoys me that they are only partially vented, so I get unequal air pressure in the ear canals. I find the Orchestra Lite (which is completely unvented) a lot worse, but it's still quite annoying and causes me to listen to them less than I would otherwise. I recently got the Clears and those *are* fully vented. Also, would you say these equal the Orchestra Lite in terms of attack incisiveness and precision of imaging? The reason I bought the 41t in the first place was chasing that OL sound signature, but without the venting issues and maybe a bit better bass. The 41t isn't quite there in terms of that level of sharpness, and of course it turned out to be a non-solution to the venting issue.

Knale

Just checked, and there's a decent sized vent right next to the two pin connector, so I'm guessing they're at least partial, but more likely fully vented. I'll say that while I don't get discomfort from unvented sets, I do own the OLs and I know what they feel like, and the 61t does not have the same pressure build up. They absolutely compete with the attack and technicalities of the OL to my ear at least.

Cool, I will keep an eye on this one and maybe try to grab one on 11/11. For the record, the 41t does have a visible vent on the shell, it's just not very effective. I'm not sure if it's just a slow vent, or only the rear volume is vented. Also I can get the 41t to act almost as if fully vented if I use vented tips like Divinus Velvet or Tanchjim T-APB T300. However I found that they sound better with other tips (I'm now using Feaulle H570) and it didn't solve the issue 100%. It might be enough that you wouldn't notice, if you're not sensitive to it.

I've been wanting to try these. How do these compare to the aful p5?

Knale

I don't have the P5 unfortunately! From Aful I have the MagicOne and the Explorer.

somekidwithcars

Damn I see. How does it compare?

Knale

They both probably have technically "better" tuning, but I find the details and technicalities of the 61t to be more enjoyable than both.

Got it. I really appreciate it. Thank you

Dayum suckah I want these now! Giving second thoughts re 7hz timeless

If anything, I heavily recommend juzear cables. They are one of the best high quality yet cheap cables you can buy.

They look really cool! How do they hold up against the Monarch MKIII? I know there is quiet a huge price difference, but these days everything is possiblešŸ˜…

Knale

The Monarch is straight up better for a variety of reasons, but the 61t absolutely plays in the 300-500$ IEM space in my opinion.

BenOG_

Ok, thanks, thatā€™s good to know! Iā€˜m still trying to figure out how much I should spend on good IEMs and this classification helps me a lotšŸ‘šŸ¼
