For real, this is even smarter than it may seem at first glance! Think about how many players are maxed out on req slips and just itching for something to spend it on. If you're AH, why would you spend the enormous amount of money and effort creating new strategems to buy when you could, with way less effort, put in place something like this? Completely cosmetic, needs to be repurchased for each use, doesn't require a lot of new assets or complex coding to create, and us HD2 players are suckers stuff like that! I'm 100% on board.

Hahaha true, they just need to quickly swap armor, and you’re clean and shiny as a noob fresh from the academy. I rather stick with the gore and guts, blends perfectly in to the next mission and makes it harder for the enemy to detect me, since I’m smelling like one of them 😎
Actually last time I went into a mission after extracting covered in bug guts, it didn’t vanish and I was still coated in green gore when I landed. Maybe they changed it?
Theres a a visual bug that shows up upon entering your hellpod, itll clear your dirty armor, but when you land on the planet, your original look returns.
I know the jump pack tears up the cape pretty good. It did in previous versions of the game. I haven't used the jump pack since the latest updates though.
I think Decontamination should be optional. I enjoy bathing in the blood of my enemies and I usually get upset when I don’t come back to the destroy looking like a used tampon
All you gotta do once you get back to the ship is swap your helmet, cape, or armor, and then swap back and PRESTO you’re clean as a freshly printed ballot sheet. Takes like 2 seconds
I work so hard for the blood and guts. I get so mad when the LZ gets a little hot waiting on Pelican - 1 and I take a stray bullet and get factory reset to clean.
No I like to jump back into the frey covered in the blood of my enemies. Also I've kept my helldiver alive for 3 missions now it's been hard but I look at the blood and guts as a patch of honor for lasting this long so far.

The guts stay on even after switching armour
You can clean your armor at the armory after a mission
But right now it just disappears while locking into a hellpod. Would be nice if there was a mechanism to clean it.
