Some pictures would help, mine just got a bit looser over time but not out of alignment.

Here's some photos: * [The floor is level](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rV__-C0MF2NabPCTo6gdpalDPKgGm7XQ/view?usp=sharing) * [The seat is not level](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rWU5PcRxSLzu_fjvOYC0x7ginOrOKzRn/view?usp=sharing) * [There's a 1/4" gap when I shim it level](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rXo11vjjw63oiYjPO_hJ_SRDnj-Mzz7l/view?usp=sharing) I also just noticed that the amount of the gap changes as I turn the base.

Seems pretty bad, are you sure wire not the wheels?

iandunn

I had assumed the cylinder wasn't installed plumb, but I'm not sure. Are you thinking some of the wheels aren't seated fully into the housing?

zerocoldx911

Yeah but seems unlikely if you sat on it already

iandunn

Yeah, I've been using it for about a week now.

Got the same, contacted Hermann Miller, and decided to return the chair and order a new one (because they said it is in the tolerance range). This is now better.

BetaCarotine20mg

Send it back and let them send you a new one.. don't even try to fix it IMO
