Eyedea and Abilities: Mostly every track on First Born and E&A (example): One; Reintroducing; Now; Kept; Star Destroyer
Aesop Rock: Dorks has a scratch heavy chorus
Non-Phixion: Rock Stars
Most Edan tracks are scratch heavy, (example): One Man Arsenal; The Humble Magnificent
The High & Mighty: Tip Off; Illadel Jackmove; The Meaning; 2 Minute Drill; The Last Hit
Cage: Agent Orange
Buck 65 (Situation): Intro; Benz; Cop Shades; Heatwave; Lipstick
I have a mix CD somewhere that I got from Abilities 20+ years ago, which is all classic hip hop tracks mixed up with crazy turtablism. I can't find any of it online. I was just talking with him about music and he was like here, check this out.
I saw him a few times with Eyedea and I self, but the best thing I ever saw was him doing a turntable battle with RJD2. That was sick.
Wow... Those are once in a lifetime experiences with some legends. I haven't thought about I Self Devine in forever. Those must have been amazing shows.
Does it contain 80s songs I’ve been searching for this radio station that scratched to 80s music can’t find the music unfortunately if it’s what I think is is anyway to convert it to mp3?
Hell yes Premier kills it. I like to listen to the full
audio from “The Classics” radio station on GTAIV (find it on YouTube), it’s basically Premier mixing and scratching some of the greatest hip-hop from the 80s, killer stuff.
Shootouts - Jadakiss and Styles P
Oh la la - Run The Jewels
Just search for DJ Premier produced songs and you will find what you are looking for
Also check out DJ Scratch and Skratch Bastid
DJ Scratch is one of my favorites, check out his social media he posts some incredible scratch work.
Also Chinese Arithmetic by Eric B and Rakim is a great example iirc.
Note, scratching is like drumming. The empty spaces are just as important as the ones you fill. It's why Preemo's phrasing unparalelled. Some of the tracks I list will not be very flashy.
I'm going to go through and list my favorite Jedi Mind Tricks's work until A History of Violence with cuts. I believe they're usually laid down by DJ Kwestion:
**Violent By Design:**
Contra
Speech Cobras
Trinity
War Ensemble
**Visions of Gandhi:**
Animal Rap
Kublai Khan (This track goes so fucking hard and that chorus is \*chef's kiss\* whenever it comes around)
**Legacy of Blood:**
Saviorself
The Worst
**Servants In heaven, Kings In Hell:**
Put 'Em In the Grave
Serenity In Murder (My favorite tracks from the album and again, the samples used really show you where the lyricism comes from)
Heavy Metal Kings (The classic)
**A History of Violence:**
Deathbed Doctrine
Seance of Shamans (Again, hard as fuck)
Butcher Knife Bloodbath (You tried to tackle me, you couldn't make me fall!)
Here's a bonus from Preemo. This here is in my top five for scratches on a song. Listen to the subtle differences in each chorus. The cuts on the last one are sublime:
[PRhyme - Underground Kings (feat. ScHoolboy Q and Killer Mike)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQuRsu92nSc)

Gear list! Came to recommend a good amount of these.
Tuff by Aesop Rock off this same album also has some nice scratches
I recall reading that Skratch Bastid did all of the scratches on Situation. He's a great one to follow if you love turntablism.

X-Ecutioners 'Revolutions' and 'Built from Scratch' are two great albums full of MC features and scratching
