During Covid I spent an unreasonable amount of time YouTubing the Jacksonville rap scene. After what I’ve watched I’m genuinely surprised he lived this long even if only a 10th of what I watched was true.
Because it’s dangerous as fuck out there, and many of the different cliques hate each other because they’ve murdered each others friends/family. Also a lot of the different clique’s rap about murdering said friends in their music. The song below is an example. Foolio was also a big instigator.
https://youtu.be/YFfGgeddAc4?si=I4RhY9REWJiXLgi4
Ace people killed Foolio brother around the same time or I think before Ace brother got killed. Either way, everybody family and friends got killed. Would’ve took the money I made from the beef and skeddattle outta Jacksonville.
>He was traveling in a silver Chevrolet Malibu with 3 other occupants including his brother, Trevon Bullard, all of whom died in the shooting. After being discharged from hospital for lack of medical insurance, Bullard was arrested for violating his probation.[26]
Shot 8 times, had his brother die and immediately gets arrested. I can't imagine some shit like that.
Damn I didn't expect them to actually rap on that beat hahah.. you think they got the sample rights?
Edit: the more I listen to the song the more it's fucked up jesus christ.. guy's shouting out people (I assume) he has shot/killed. I mean if they're using young thug's music to prove his case, they for sure will use this as well when these dudes' time comes
Vanessa Carlton actually came out after and gave them the green light and even defended them against white people who didn't like them using the song to sing/rap about killing.
She said white people like to make violent movies and say it's art. Using quentin tarantino movies as an example. She says it's the same as rappers rapping about their lives expressing in song or raps but yh this shit is on another level.
Ok she’s wrong though. This is a real beef about real people who have actually died or are threatening to kill real people who they actually will kill.
Not one person in a Tarantino movie is actually at risk unless you’re an actress with nice feet
There was YouTube video that showed all the folks who were called out in the song, and the news stories talking about/proving their deaths. It’s definitely fucked.
Oh man. A lot of back and forth, umm I can break dowen with 2 songs.
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFfGgeddAc4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFfGgeddAc4) The people referenced in this song are his friends, not all but you get the gist.
and he responded with [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJqu246RVlc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJqu246RVlc) foolio.
I can't remember what came first or the ins and outs. Just know he's dissing dead ops here. Like really bad.
The 3 dudes he was lying on in the picture all got killed in a car with yungeenace on his or his cousins birthday. They were like his cousins and his best mates. Been a while i'm hazy on it. Yungeen lived he talks about it in interviews etc, shits wild.
He had enemies everywhere. And his dumbass always thought he'd be one step ahead. Younger rappers always think that they proving something by staying in a dangerous place even though they can afford not to. Older rappers always knew as soon as you get the bag, LEAVE.
A prophet named Curtis Jackson once said:
>"Different day, same shit, ain't nothing good in the hood
I'd run away from this bitch and never come back if I could"
He was actively in the streets, in a gang or crew presumably, and had no issue consistently taunting those that did him wrong or the dead friends/family of his enemies. Which will give people that already hate you and want you dead even stronger reason to keep trying to kill you.
Truly a never ending cycle of ignorance.
This dude made a diss song to his opps and literally said the line, "I'll drop my address, I'm on 1646 West 45th Street". His crib got shot up because of that and his mom caught a bullet to the leg. I still think that's one of the craziest things I've ever heard someone say in a song taunting their opps.
This man's rap career was just one long taunt of his enemies, he did almost nothing else of note and if he wasn't ridiculous with the taunting we'd never know about him.
Yungeen Ace the same damn thing, he'll eventually die as well, this part of the music industry is just toxic to the point of stupid.
I was just thinking about dude a month ago amazed at how he stayed in Florida and survived after making all those disses. People think they're too tough to be touched and this is what happens. He should have been moved to another state.
Man, me too. I spent an unreasonable amount of time of r/duvalcounty. These guys live pretty much the exact opposite life that I live, it was interesting to see how these guys live with absolute reckless abandon for their own lives.
But yeah, the fact that this guy made it to 26 is astonishing. He basically just walked around Jacksonville, trolling these guys about their dead friends for years.
It’s a lot of info , but yungeen ace gang atk and foolio gang kta were legit rivals in Jacksonville , with each pushing 10 deaths .
They each took shots at each other with music , in the most disrespectful way (dancing on graves, name dropping , etc)
Foolio has also been shot 3 separate times prior to this , and basically had beef with about every gang in the area
Crazy how the Chicago drill scene spread everywhere. There’s sets in every city now doing it and everyone can watch it go down live. So naturally everyone’s trying to push it further and further.
Fuckin nuts. I’m from Dallas and I’ve been down before, but these newer gems are getting even more wild which I didn’t think was possible
"They be shooting whether it's dark or not, I mean the days is pretty dark a lot
Down here it's easier to find a gun than it is to find a fucking parking spot"
Isn’t he under investigation rn? It would be way too hot for him to start dissing at this point, would be smart to not bring any more attention to himself
Idk, Ace doesn’t seem dumb. Best he leave it all alone cause bringing more of that energy to himself just makes him next. He’s the last man standing, He should move on and let his friends do all that, like he’s been trying to
Ain’t no point, he been moving away from dissin when Foolio was alive and Foolio was dissin still. He might lightly touch on it vaguely but iont think he doing all that shit nomore
If Ace has a single working brain cell he’ll know to stay as far away from this shit as possible.
Foolio is single handedly the biggest death in the Florida drill scene probably ever—you’re ringing the dinner bell if you drop something on him. Every jit in north Florida will be trying to catch him with his guard down
If Ace has a single working brain cell, he wasn’t no where near that birthday party and was publicly and on video documented somewhere very far away. Bonus points if whoever pulled that trigger got zero connections to him.
Double all the points if he already cleared the 90s female radio hit he’s been waiting all these years to sample in anticipation of this day. There’s way too much clout and potential music streams on the line.
i live in jacksonville , and yes 1000% in connections, he had a absurd amount of $ on his head . and he’s been wanted for a while . atk (aces top killers) nhg (no hospital gang)
That wasn’t even his thing til Ksoo and Foolio started going back and forth then Foolio started getting all those views for his disses so he felt he had to say sumn, that’s over now
After the “Who I Smoke” video blew up, he actually put out an interview where he talked about how he was only making that kind of music for the money, and his goal was to get out of that scene as fast as possible.
And then he used the money to immediately move away.
Idk for most of the beef foolio was the instigator and especially over the last year or two ace seems to have just left it alone and focus on his family, I don't follow him super closely tho so I can't say for sure
Yup. One of the most flagrant, self snitching murderer-come-rappers you'll hear. Guy never planned to be here a long time and did well to see 26 with the decisions he made.
Yeah. I remember telling my girlfriend how I "won't be surprised he'll get killed soon", a year ago or something.
Fuck, bro was still recovering from the last attempt on his life. He was probably in a wheelchair/on crutches when he got killed.
He obviously was pushing his luck, with dissing the dead and such, but man... he basically lived in a war for his whole life. His father killed as a kid, losing many friends to violence, only for them to get dissed on songs. It's sad...
Yeah bro made a music video dancing on the opps grave. This death should come as a surprise to no one.
It's a bit depressing how many Jacksonville rappers/their crew have been killed over the past couple years, there has to be a way for these groups to settle disputes besides murder lol
The music video was made at a random gravesite tbf and it was made in response to Yungeen Ace's song Who I Smoke, dissing Foolio's dead friends.
But yeah, Foolio was crazy disrespectful. So much blood was already spilled in this beef, they are sadly never going to put this beef down until everyones dead
Especially considering 23 was the nickname of one of the dudes he shot whose birthday is was, and he got shot in retaliation on the 23rd of June. Definitely not a coincidence
I wasn't that familiar with his music or lifestyle, can you elaborate? At the end of the day, it's still tragic to hear about another act of gun violence that will affect his family forever
Duval Drill prides itself on being as evil and toxic and violent as possible. Dissing dead teenagers you or your friend murdered is common. Foolio was a leader in the scene
He literally made a video dancing on peoples graves of folks who were shot on their birthday, subtly claiming responsibility for it. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJqu246RVlc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJqu246RVlc)
The Duval drill scene reminds me of the og norway black metal scene where they all worship death. Except those guys grew up in peaceful Norway and mostly spent their time burning churches. Drill rappers genuinely just fucking murder eachother for fun. Everyone will talk about the tragedy and the wasted life and it needs to stop and then BBW Fartsmella or whoever the fuck is going to diss somebody again on some dick measuring contest and the cycle will continue
I’m from Duval and know some people really into the drill scene so I know about it by osmosis, a lot of it is the environment these guys grew up in but none of them even try to elevate themselves or leave once they got money like Keef did in Chicago. Foolio died after bragging about his public pool party and sharing the address. Like come on man. Your rich. Move to LA link up with some producers keep making hits… why do u wanna die so bad? Smh
I’m not all that familiar with the Duval drill scene but from what I do know it doesn’t even seem like they’re fighting over territory to sell drugs or anything. Just a bunch of kids killing other kids so they can brag on IG live. An endless cycle of revenge killings for no gain. Death is always sad but it’s especially sad how senseless it is.
Dude that’s what most gang wars in America are lol.
People see stuff like the Wire and buy into this narrative that street gangs are beefing over drug turf and shit and that inner city violence is because of these complex street organizations dabbling in the drug trade.
It’s really just stoned young dudes who get into some petty beef with other groups of stoned young dudes and they all got guns. And then someone gets killed and the cycle starts.
When I was a dumb suburban teen, these dudes I met up with tried to rob me for like 10 dollars worth of weed. After it happened, my mind was like “man I want to fight these dudes.” Now, nothing ever happened. But replicate scenarios like that in high-crime environments where there’s plenty of guns and shit and you can began to understand why these gang wars happen.
Well it depends. There def were many situations like The Wire, and one of the messages in the wire is that street life devolved even further into exactly what it is today. It’s a recurring theme in the show. There was also plenty of revenge killings and shit like that there too
My overall point is that most gang violence in America isn’t because of shadowy criminal organizations fighting eachother over a lucrative drug trade as portrayed in the Wire.
Are there organized drug groups in America like those depicted in the Wire? Yes, of course. But they aren’t the main contributor of street violence.
People always say this shit about street gangs. “Oh they’re fighting over drugs and turf.” This isn’t true at all. Usually gang beef starts over something small and petty. It’s not because “oh we need to sell these 100 kilos of coke but our competition is in the way! We should wipe them out and take their blocks!” It’s more like “this dude and his homies tried to rob me so let’s go shoot at them.” It’s even worse now with social media, because people will say some stupid shit and a new beef will start.
You can even see this in some of the classic street gang movies of the ‘90’s. Menace 2 Society and Boyz N the Hood for example.
You're spot on man. I live right by all the nightclubs in my city and *every* weekend I hear shots. It's always the same shit, usually two dudes arguing over a girl. It's literally just people dying because they're afraid of not looking cool.
Oh shit, he dropped the location himself? That’s wild. After Pop Smoke, I hoped rappers would wise up and keep the address on the low.
House parties / pool parties should be a thing of the past when you have as many real opps as Foolio.
I feel like it’s easier said than done to get away from it though.
1. Most of these rappers aren’t nearly as rich as they claim and are in fact in debt to their labels through various means.
2. Even if they were as rich as they seem it’s still tough. You have to think about them moving their entire families out since you probably don’t want grandma and grandpa staying where you’ve been dissing peoples dead friends for years and end up like HoneyKomb Brazy’s.
3. A lot of these guys are on probation/parole which makes things tougher, not impossible or super hard, but harder for sure.
Chief Keef as far as I know literally just wasn’t able to go back to Chicago for the last like 10+ years because of warrants.
> A lot of these guys are on probation/parole which makes things tougher, not impossible or super hard, but harder for sure.
Weirdly not as hard as you'd think. Felony probations transfer basically automatically through the Interstate Compact on Adult Offender Supervision. [There's even a website for it.](https://interstatecompact.org/)
Basically you just need to show means to support yourself or have a sponsoring family member in the receiving state.
Misdemeanor probations are a little more discretionary.
I mean, at the end of the day, a lot of these guys are stuck in a mentality.
People talk about PTSD from war, from traumatic sexual experiences; but what about PTSD from seeing your parents fight everyday; seeing violence occur erratically all around you from the day you are born; add on to that the nutrition struggle, and you have a ripe candidate for PTSD.
A lot of these guys stay because that’s all they know. To them, their entire purpose is relegated to the physical location of where they are from. And if history tells us anything, it’s that this is a feature of the system, not a bug.
Yup; self medication to deal with trauma.
There’s that episode noisey (?) did with Kendrick for a series on “bompton”, and there was a wonderful segment where they had a psychotherapist give an analysis on habits of trauma.
And one of those is self medicating in order to cope with their environment. I know poverty isn’t that common of an experience for the average redditor, but the reality is, poverty is stressful! And the average drug user started with using something to cope with that stress. Whether its weed, alcohol, etc; it was their solution to the problem at the time.
Like, there’s a lot of factors to this that you can talk about, but it all just culminates into creating that paranoid, stressful, sometimes violent environment.
I was raised by a single mum in post communist eastern Europe. Started smoking and selling weed when I was 17, bought my mum a fridge when I was 18 and she broke down crying cause she couldnt afford one. I kinda have an idea how stressful it gets, even tho it's a whole different ball game with all the racism and guns mixed in
There were only a couple genuine murderers from the black metal scene. Mostly they were just edgy misfits or mentally ill. It's still wild to me that Faust only served 10 years for murdering a stranger for no reason.
He was perpetuating and is part of the problem poisoning communities and seeing young black teenagers dead.
Go through the list on 'list of dead opps' most of them 14-16yo. Like 3 over 20. I don't think seeing 30 is an option.
It's poison and y'all eat it up for the music and the real life drama you're safe from
"And don't even get me started on how they're treating women out that way"
def OOTL on what you mean here, can you elaborate? (Sorry, ik you said don't get me started but I'm curious lol)
The passion for revenge should never blind you to the pragmatics of the situation. There are some people who are so blighted by their past, so warped by experience and the pull of that silken cord, that they never free themselves of the shadows that live in the time machine...
And if there is a kind thought due them, it may be found contained in the words of the late Gerald Kersh, who wrote:"... there are men whom one hates until a certain moment when one sees, through a chink in their armour, the writhing of something nailed down and in torment.
-Harlan Ellison
Yungeen ace breaking down that situation in that interview is one of the craziest stories ever. The way he is able to talk so normal abt the death of his brother and 2 best friends is insane.
One of the main reasons I can’t listen to this type of rap anymore. I guess it’s just me getting older, I’m not saying rappers killing or getting killed is something new, but I just don’t see a reason to support this type of rap. It just all ends in bloodshed and ruined lives of families.
rest in pieces bozo.
making fun of someone and his family after the dude got tortued + chopped trying to escape gang life. wonder when we will get a diss track on him now that he himself is 6ft buried down :>
Not speaking ill but that dude has been asking for it for years now. After he got shot in the foot you’d think he’d chill but nope. Invite smoke, smoke comes.
Damn they did him dirty on his birthday too. RIP
They been tryna kill him for years, I just pray all young niggas find salvation and get out the streets if you can.
Foolio knew this was coming, he said it himself. He knew what he was doing and why and how. If you play with fire, sooner or later you'll get burned. RIP tho, it is what it is
I still remember that “Who I Smoke” song and being disgusted by people’s response to it. Dancing to it on TikTok. The sample owner saying “White people glorify violence in entertainment so why not here?” When she’s a sheltered white girl who doesn’t understand that these were real people dying.
This shit sucks man.
Bro her justifying the sample was actually fascinating. It was a level of liberal whiteness that circled back into parody lmao. Pretty much talking about allowing black people to express themselves and defending the sample as if it wasn't a song about killing other black people.
Bro thank yoouuu! This is the only time I’ve seen someone with the same take.. when I saw that headline on social media my jaw was on the floor — I checked the comments and it was people saying “She invited to the cookout” and it’s like there’s no way you’re this dumb??? I hate sheltered people from these suburbs commenting on working class or gang culture - cos they know absolutely NOTHING about it.
During Covid I spent an unreasonable amount of time YouTubing the Jacksonville rap scene. After what I’ve watched I’m genuinely surprised he lived this long even if only a 10th of what I watched was true.
Same this is a surprise to me only as in I figured he was already dead.
I think they definitely tried killing him multiple times, was always gonna end up like this long as he chose to stay in Jacksonville.
How come?
Because it’s dangerous as fuck out there, and many of the different cliques hate each other because they’ve murdered each others friends/family. Also a lot of the different clique’s rap about murdering said friends in their music. The song below is an example. Foolio was also a big instigator. https://youtu.be/YFfGgeddAc4?si=I4RhY9REWJiXLgi4
foolios track before this was arguably worse. he was legit dancing on graves. https://youtu.be/yJqu246RVlc?si=Fgbqt4I3rdRsdDg3
Holy fuck that was not subtle whatsoever haha. You weren't wrong, that was just crazy stupid.
Ace people killed Foolio brother around the same time or I think before Ace brother got killed. Either way, everybody family and friends got killed. Would’ve took the money I made from the beef and skeddattle outta Jacksonville.
It was Foolio’s cousin Zion
More reason to never comeback to Jacksonville
No surprise, really. He was legitimately retarded.
what do they put in floridas water?? genuinely asking as a closeted european
It’s less about what they put into the water and more about what they don’t teach in schools.
The person he is mentioning dying on their birthday is Yungeen Ace’s little brother too. Ace got shot 8 times in that shooting too.
>He was traveling in a silver Chevrolet Malibu with 3 other occupants including his brother, Trevon Bullard, all of whom died in the shooting. After being discharged from hospital for lack of medical insurance, Bullard was arrested for violating his probation.[26] Shot 8 times, had his brother die and immediately gets arrested. I can't imagine some shit like that.
23 Royale Aces best friend died on his birthday but Aces brother and other friend were also there
4 shot 3 dead Or is that a different situation
That’s the same one “Ace the only one survived, that nigga blessed, if you ask me”-Foolio
Yeah that’s definitely something you get murdered over.
Wow, karma for this hit back in the exact same way.
[Foolio also made this as well](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFwqVw_zq7Y) this dude was begging for death
Insane. These dudes really think they are bulletproof or something.
In too deep at a certain point. So they go full "fuck it". They killed people's families, it's not like "being respectful" would slow any shit down.
This one is the one. My man had 27 lives
He made this in response to Who I Smoke not before iirc.
Funnily enough, a lawyer loved the video https://youtu.be/fhC1zrIgRZE?si=J7UJZx7ztOAPMpph
This is hilarious
I would never came across this guys channel without Reddit. I’m 30 seconds in and loving it. “I love golf and these look like fine young gentlemen”
Vanessa Carlton actually came out after and gave them the green light and even defended them against white people who didn't like them using the song to sing/rap about killing.
Usually I'd say good on her.. but this song is just extra violent
Did she not realize that these are real people getting murdered partly because of these songs?
That's so stupid lol the cope is off the charts
There was YouTube video that showed all the folks who were called out in the song, and the news stories talking about/proving their deaths. It’s definitely fucked.
Jesus christ this is the hardest shit I've ever seen. Like it's terrifying and tragic how openly sociopathic these dudes are, and it fuckin bangs
You know it gets real when they whip out the adult contemporary samples.
This goes hard over the beat wow.
Oh man. A lot of back and forth, umm I can break dowen with 2 songs. It was Ace’s little brother. He is the one that died on his birthday.
ace won’t comment cause his career is blowing up and he may or may not have been there but i bet he’s celebrating
His career was blowing up 4 years ago. Pretty steady decline since then, doubt he'll ever surpass that.
He had enemies everywhere. And his dumbass always thought he'd be one step ahead. Younger rappers always think that they proving something by staying in a dangerous place even though they can afford not to. Older rappers always knew as soon as you get the bag, LEAVE. NGL, i swear i had already read about him being dead a while ago but i guess he just got shot back then. The Jacksonville rap scene wild as hell
Nah he got shot last year and the wound was absolutely disgusting. Homie definitely should have had to get his foot amputated.
I was just thinking about dude a month ago amazed at how he stayed in Florida and survived after making all those disses. People think they're too tough to be touched and this is what happens. He should have been moved to another state.
Man, me too. I spent an unreasonable amount of time of r/duvalcounty. Can you elaborate, I’m not familiar
YouTube “trap lord ross Jacksonville” or “hip hop daily Jacksonville.” That’s where I heard of most of the issues in that scene.
I was trying to avoid that lol, thanks anyway
It’s a lot of info , but yungeen ace gang atk and foolio gang kta were legit rivals in Jacksonville , with each pushing 10 deaths . Why it’s something you’re clearly intrigued by and it’s a great video
some people want the quick wiki summary instead of sitting thru videos. brain needs dopamine NOW
Crazy how the Chicago drill scene spread everywhere. There’s sets in every city now doing it and everyone can watch it go down live. So naturally everyone’s trying to push it further and further. Fuckin nuts. I’m from Dallas and I’ve been down before, but these newer gems are getting even more wild which I didn’t think was possible
weather gets nice, niggas die Tale as old as time
Summer is crash out season
It’s always crash out season, it’s because niggas are outside, easy for their ops to catch ‘em.
“Summertime in the hood is the killing season, it’s hot out this bitch, that’s a good enough reason” - 50 Cent
“Everybody dies in the Summer, so pray to God for a little more Spring”
*I love my wife*
"They be shooting whether it's dark or not, I mean the days is pretty dark a lot Down here it's easier to find a gun than it is to find a fucking parking spot"
90s and humid is certainly not my definition of nice, more like sweaty hellhole
90 and humid is a good day in florida
It's the pool parties and BBQs.
The Cook Out
As a Floridian, I assure you the wether is anything but nice
“ when the block is hot, niggas get shot” Better?
In the hood, summertime is the killing season. It's hot out in this bitch, that's a good enough reason
People wanna party in summer Just gotta hope your opps wanna party more than you
YungeenAce is about to drop Who I Smoke Pt. 2
was just about to say, pt 2 incoming soon for sure
Isn’t he under investigation rn? It would be way too hot for him to start dissing at this point, would be smart to not bring any more attention to himself
lol under investigation or not he already dropped a diss on foolio today, unfortunately it is not who I smoke pt. 2 but maybe that is next
mf not wasting time out here
These people are not thinking about the long game
Idk, Ace doesn’t seem dumb. Best he leave it all alone cause bringing more of that energy to himself just makes him next. He’s the last man standing, He should move on and let his friends do all that, like he’s been trying to
A track is definitely going to happen lol.
didnt even take 24 hours https://youtu.be/j2IEAq3Y6cU?si=iiZGP_aV2_c6H4Zv
Ain’t no point, he been moving away from dissin when Foolio was alive and Foolio was dissin still. He might lightly touch on it vaguely but iont think he doing all that shit nomore
I think he even shouted him out a few months ago. I can't remember for what.
Ace not making a song / music video would be like Peter Jackson canceling Return of the King.
Yall be sick in the head with the fan fiction 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That wasn’t even his thing til Ksoo and Foolio started going back and forth then Foolio started getting all those views for his disses so he felt he had to say sumn, that’s over now
>Idk, Ace doesn’t seem dumb. based on what exactly lmaoo
Ace moved out Jax, has a family and streams gaming now. His latest music doesn't have any disses either, I'd say he's pretty smart for all that.
It’s pretty clear from his interviews that he’s a pretty self aware & humble type of dude
After the “Who I Smoke” video blew up, he actually put out an interview where he talked about how he was only making that kind of music for the money, and his goal was to get out of that scene as fast as possible. And then he used the money to immediately move away.
[Wellllll IDK about that](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2IEAq3Y6cU)
There is no way he is going to leave it alone.
Idk for most of the beef foolio was the instigator and especially over the last year or two ace seems to have just left it alone and focus on his family, I don't follow him super closely tho so I can't say for sure
This did not age well
Dude posted his Airbnb address for a pool party on Twitter 18 hours ago.
Because the first thing I wanna do when I know mofos want me dead is to tweet out where I am at....
Wild decision.
When will people learn not to do this? It's how PnB rock got robbed and shot & I believe pop smoke as well.
Pop was a little bit different
Wasn't the pnb rock stuff fake news to attack his girlfriend.
He usually doesn’t drink (his words) and was drinking with some women and prob got cocky from the liquor
Can’t say I didn’t see this coming. RIP.
Yeah I’m not shocked but it is sad. He’s got some dope songs. Voodoo was one of my favorites for a minute.
Ain’t no way yall believe this dude should rest in peace after spending his whole life terrorizing everyone around.
Also extremely ironic that he bragged about killing someone on their birthday and then being killed on his. I just can’t feel any sympathy there
probably not a coincidence there
Especially considering 23 was the nickname of one of the dudes he shot whose birthday is was, and he got shot in retaliation on the 23rd of June. Definitely not a coincidence
Exactly this. I liked some of his songs but no chance I’m gonna say RIP when dude was making fun of the people he allegedly shot in a music video
I mean that's pretty much drill in general. Not like we never heard Chicago drill rappers doing the same.
Tooka still getting dissed today
Stg I saw somewhere in the past few years Tooka's mom pleading for people to stop using his name saying "He not no strand of weed"
Didn't Foolio make his song as a reasons to that Yungeen Ace track with the Vanessa Carlton sample?
He literally made a video dancing on peoples graves of folks who were shot on their birthday, subtly claiming responsibility for it. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJqu246RVlc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJqu246RVlc)
That’s him?! Honestly surprised he lasted this long. These kids are fuckin crazy these days.
Did you see the song Yungeen Ace made before this?
I did not keep myself abreast of this
Isn’t he the one who went to a memorial of 3 people who were shot and killed and made a music video and song dissing them? Lol.
Song which contains the line "Went out to eat on his birthday Four shots three dead in the worst way"
Yeah that’s the one. Can’t say I feel bad for the guy.
Yes, he literally danced on their graves.
Well
Well, then……… Some nice folks..
yeah, a pretty damn good response to Who I Smoke. Didn't age well now that he also died on his birthday though. RIP.
Ironic isn’t it
That aint no kwinkydink.
I’d imagine it’s intentional lol
Yeah it was a response to some rappers that dissed he's dead friends
The Duval drill scene reminds me of the og norway black metal scene where they all worship death. Except those guys grew up in peaceful Norway and mostly spent their time burning churches. Drill rappers genuinely just fucking murder eachother for fun. Everyone will talk about the tragedy and the wasted life and it needs to stop and then BBW Fartsmella or whoever the fuck is going to diss somebody again on some dick measuring contest and the cycle will continue I’m from Duval and know some people really into the drill scene so I know about it by osmosis, a lot of it is the environment these guys grew up in but none of them even try to elevate themselves or leave once they got money like Keef did in Chicago.
That was the smartest thing chief keef ever did was relocating to LA
> A lot of these guys are on probation/parole which makes things tougher, not impossible or super hard, but harder for sure. Weirdly not as hard as you'd think. Felony probations transfer basically automatically through the Interstate Compact on Adult Offender Supervision. [There's even a website for it.](https://interstatecompact.org/) Basically you just need to show means to support yourself or have a sponsoring family member in the receiving state. Misdemeanor probations are a little more discretionary.
the felony transfer portal is wild
Move to a new city. try to get job. interviewer "why did you move here?" feelsbadman.jpg
BBW Fartsmella is fuckin foul lmao
I guess I'm gonna have to check out BBW Fartsmella. What album would you recommend?
I mean, at the end of the day, a lot of these guys are stuck in a mentality. People talk about PTSD from war, from traumatic sexual experiences; but what about PTSD from seeing your parents fight everyday; seeing violence occur erratically all around you from the day you are born; add on to that the nutrition struggle, and you have a ripe candidate for PTSD. A lot of these guys stay because that’s all they know. To them, their entire purpose is relegated to the physical location of where they are from. And if history tells us anything, it’s that this is a feature of the system, not a bug.
Don't forget to add drugs into the mix
Well shit, news we all knew would come one day. The sad cycle of wasted lives continues.
He was perpetuating and is part of the problem poisoning communities and seeing young black teenagers dead. Go through the list on 'list of dead opps' most of them 14-16yo. Like 3 over 20. I don't think seeing 30 is an option. It's poison and y'all eat it up for the music and the real life drama you're safe from
they chopping gooses rn to resummon him
[удалено]
"And don't even get me started on how they're treating women out that way" def OOTL on what you mean here, can you elaborate? (Sorry, ik you said don't get me started but I'm curious lol)
Nobody could've seen this coming
Absolutely not surprising at all
The passion for revenge should never blind you to the pragmatics of the situation.
Rip but damn. He kept dissing another mf for getting killed on his birthday and we went out the exact same way :/
The fact this man lived three years after he dropped When I See You is honestly mind blowing. Jacksonville is a fucked up hellscape fr
goddamn rest in peace, jacksonville rap scene bout to blow up again
lots of disses will be made. but what goes around comes around 🤷♂️ he dissed yungeen ace's brother for dying on his birthday on when i see you
Yungeen ace breaking down that situation in that interview is one of the craziest stories ever. The way he is able to talk so normal abt the death of his brother and 2 best friends is insane.
What interview?
[This one](https://youtu.be/GcxE3ZjjqF8)
Thank you!
These people are evil man. Jesus Christ.
The video of him in the aftermath of the shooting having trauma flashbacks is so hard to watch
Which was obviously in direct response to Who I Smoke.
for a second and then it’s gonna die with foolio
One of the main reasons I can’t listen to this type of rap anymore. I guess it’s just me getting older, I’m not saying rappers killing or getting killed is something new, but I just don’t see a reason to support this type of rap. It just all ends in bloodshed and ruined lives of families.
Damn 😭 they are coming for all the Oolios 😭
Unfortunate but with the way he continuously behaved he brought this upon himself, and I'm honestly surprised it didn't happen years sooner.
rest in pieces bozo. making fun of someone and his family after the dude got tortued + chopped trying to escape gang life. wonder when we will get a diss track on him now that he himself is 6ft buried down :>
Nobody surprised. He moved like he was invincible. Horrible human.
After watching that TrapLoreRoss doc this doesn’t surprise me…
Not speaking ill but that dude has been asking for it for years now. After he got shot in the foot you’d think he’d chill but nope. Invite smoke, smoke comes.
literally just saw his pool party tweet where he posted his location before seeing this, crazy
Damn they did him dirty on his birthday too. RIP They been tryna kill him for years, I just pray all young niggas find salvation and get out the streets if you can.
live by the gun, die by the gun
Foolio knew this was coming, he said it himself. He knew what he was doing and why and how. If you play with fire, sooner or later you'll get burned. RIP tho, it is what it is
Don't think he was even fully recovered from getting shot a year ago. His foot was fucked up.
Check the r/news thread about this to take psychic damage. https://www.reddit.com/r/news/s/k52ceJ9z1R
I love world of Warcraft. But orcs killing night elves doesn’t happen in real life. Duval county rappers murdering each other does.
