Yes I tried every tactic with frozen and it didn't work last week I did live and he ate it so I'm doing live from now on. I feel bad but it's the same as frozen in a way.
I’d keep trying while you feed live. If he gets big enough to eat full size mice, they can cause injury if he bites them the wrong way and they turn around and bite back I’ve seen some bad bites on snakes fed live.
