Was drinking at a random Brooklyn bar when suddenly Bella Ciao comes on the radio, I wonder if the radio station knew it was a partisan anthem or just scheduled what they thought was a random bop
1st. I'm not an asshole, and I value hard work of others at least to some degree
2nd. I want to support pdx, the more people buy, the more and better they can create games and dlc's. You don't know how many cool indie game studios died because people pirated their games too much, the only reason why its difrent with not indie games is they have bigger public, better anti pracy systems and studio has more than one source of income. Piracy is bad for the gaming market and people who create games.
I mean, you said you didn't want to pre-order, I'm not saying pirate the whole DLC just the song, it's not like they're making a profit of the song as the DLC will most likely be the same price when it releases anyways.
But each man to their own I suppose
Ehhh, that part about not wanting was for dramatic porpuse, and maybe I'm not the biggest fan if pre orders, I already bought together for vicotriy years after its realese so I don't have a reason why not to pre order.
> I value hard work of others at least to some degree
You might, paradox does not. Do you really think that the actual devs are getting the fruits of their labour? From a company that is constantly in litigation for devs abuse?
>many cool indie game studios died because people pirated their games
PDX is not an indie studio (the studio is worth 16.280.000.000$ with a number of employees ranging from 650 to 800).
On June 2022 PDX reported an increase of revenue of 14% compared to 2021 (from 36.062.640$ to 41.055.929$).
>better anti pracy systems
They actually have low impact on piracy (and also, PDX knows they benefit from piracy and they don't enforce rules to make piracy more difficult)
>Piracy is bad for the gaming market and people who create games.
Actually, "pre-orders", "dlc" culture, and abusive practices by CEOs are bad for the people who create games and the people who enjoys them. Piracy is as ethical as greedy practices by big game devs, if the dev company does unethical practices for their players and their developers, piracy becomes a right.
Sincerely, a game dev that payed for HOI4 and most of its DLCs.
I swear Paradox keeps getting more creative with their cash grabs
EDIT: For those downvoting, ask yourselves how many features and fixes for broken game aspects the community has been calling for since 2016, and how many pre-orders and DLCs we've had since then completely missing those features. Hell we've had country packs at $10 a pop that just featured focus trees, something that we can get for free via mods.
Paradox community is dangerously following the path of the Pokemon community. Inabilities to criticise the games and bussiness practices will lead PDX to make less content, and look for more cash grabs, as the fanbase won't oppose it.
Is funny to see critiques to pdx labeled as negative, because those critiques actually try to force them to do better games.
>me who never plays with sound on: Neat!
These motherfuckers are really going to make me pre-order another DLC just for another banger.
This is the video for the pre-order bonus song for By Blood Alone!

Ive heard it in clubs lol. Of course I danced like a maniac to it.
Why all the pre order songs need to such bangers, I don't want to pre order by blood alone, but now I need to, just for the song.
Not necessarily 🏴☠️

How much is this dlc now like $55?
42 Lira in Turkey ;) Besides that it’s the usual 20€/$
only £15.49 in the UK 😎
I don't know if I will pre-order it, I'm very fussy on the pronunciation and from the video I can't tell if I'm satisfied or not
It doesn’t appear when you pre order it…..
You get it when the whole DLC releases, don't you know what Pre-Order means?
I pre ordered just for this masterpiece
Still, the DLC was released, but I got no pre order bonus even in my steam library
