The joy of being a home owner is that you get to make your own decor choices. How does this trend of permanent holiday lights impact you? Do we get to weigh in on your home decor too? This is the least offensive thing a neighbor can do. MYOB.
I'm not saying people shouldn't be able to have them but I think they are chintzy. I'm allowed to have that opinion right? Lol. Hit a nerve with you, apparently.
Yeah, I think the only reason this wasn't a thing before is incandescent bulbs burned out pretty quick, plus the electricity would cost you an arm and a leg.
Yeah even LEDs in the more traditional Christmas/string light format don't last forever and these claim to have good longevity so I can see why people would find them an attractive option
When I give directions to my house it's always "end of cul-de-sac on the left with the Christmas tree on the front porch"

Sounds like you care too much
It’s chintzy to put up holiday lights in a place where you don’t have a winter
Ahhh yes you are not allowed any holiday joy if the weather doesn’t match. 😒😒🙄🙄
Just ranting, or actually want an answer? I feel like the answer is pretty obvious...
Installing something once is easier than installing it every year and those lights claim to last much longer than conventional Christmas lights
