2018 with 6 speed, enjoying it

attnSPAN

Haha me too! Is yours a Sport?

WadesWorld18

yes!

Dreamsof899

Bought mine new in July '09. Had them ship it a state over because I wouldn't buy any of the automatics on the yard. They had a base manual there as a loaner because of delivery damage, didn't make it a mile from the dealer before I fell in love. 128k later and it still puts a smile on my face.

Glowingtomato

Just about 155k miles on my 2015 EX I've had since new. With a just a simple exhaust and rear anti-sway bar this car always makes me smile.

NaGaBa

What exhaust and sway bar? I downsized the OE 16" alloys to 15"and thicker rubber. Lost 7lbs per corner and it is very noticeable, plus no more pothole damage. Hesitantly installed the Honda Sport suspension and then regretted waiting as long as I did, it is fantastic.

Glowingtomato

My exhaust is just an axleback HKS Silent Hi-Power. I like how it's not obnoxious if I want to be but it sounds great the higher you get above 3k rpm. It even does a little popping when your really banging through the gears lol Sway bar is from Progress and its been in for like 8 years so far. I love how it keeps the back end from feeling floppy on downhill corners and and improved the overall feel of cornering for me.

Sundae-Emergency

Yee buddy - couldn’t imagine it any other way

lmkadrian

two weeks into ownership of my 2012 Blue Razz 5MT sport. Paid a lot more than a Fit should really cost but no regrets so far.

SparklyPoopcicle

What mileage and how much did you pay?

lmkadrian

133K and i paid just under 10K

SparklyPoopcicle

Ok nice yeah I paid 12k for mine OTD, 2013 purple/plum 5MT with 89k miles. Nice to see I’m not the only one paying out the ass for an 11 year old egg 😅

lmkadrian

the 2012 and 2013 sport model years must be super desirable. Absolutely love the look of the facelift plus the steering wheel radio controls!

Holy_Chromoly

Drive manual because they are cheaper used here. Saved at least 1.5k and that's mainly the reason.

dajuhnk

Damn I had to pay up for mine

MaxwellCarter

I’ve owned three now. All manuals

HachiroFit

I would’ve been happy with either. But I found one with a manual, in the color I wanted, and with aftermarket color matched leather seats and door cards! A hair over 110k, paid $5,600.  And just now, as I got into it after work, I saw that the shift boot had come loose / possibly torn from the mount. Soooo I’ve got something to replace / do this Thursday I have off of work xD Only thing I would’ve wished, was that it were a 2nd gen. Takes forever for 1st gens to show up in junkyards for parts.

ME-A-LMN

In March of 2012 I picked up a brand new Raspberry Blue Fit Sport 5MT (I have never seen a blue raspberry BTW)…over 12 years later, still going strong!!

Key_Actuary8338

2007 with 210k miles

wshlinaang

08 5 speed. Wouldn’t drive a fit if it were auto

dajuhnk

White 2013 5mt Checking in

dewlocks

2013 five speed. Zippity zipper

dubious455H013

13' with a 5 speed here. If the fit don't come with a manual, I wouldn't of gotten one

DivineFarce

2017 EX with the anti-millennial-theft system (I are a millennial).

DH133

My wife and I both drive manual Fits - mine is an ‘09; hers is a ‘12. We both agree mine feels a little better.

steveoa3d

2015 EX with 6 speed manual here !

Measurement10

My stock 09 fit had a rough clutch. Not bad just not great. Recently replaced clutch and wow, now this is nice.

KinkyQuesadilla

2011 5m, wish it had 6 every time I get on the highway.

GarlicDogeOP

2008 and I couldn’t agree more. Now if you don’t mind, I’ll be rolling at 80mph pinned up to 4k rpm 🤣

wexera

2011 fit sport. 5 speed manual. It's a short gearbox so one is busy shifting. But I like it

Delicious_Area4328

the clutch feel on my 08 is awful, i need the Seb's Garage CDV delete kit

dikkiesmalls

2009 with the 5 spd

4myWWW

I SO wish my Fit was a stick shift. It wasn't the right family car decision when I bought it, though. 😥

hildawg

2017 manual, I've only ever owned one automatic car in my life but they're getting harder and harder to find in the states. My Fit has less than 40k miles on it though so I'm hoping to have it for quite some time.

vonkluver

Stock 2018 truly a pleasure to chuck around suspension upgraded would get me pulled over

pettingdoggies

I’ve got a 09 5 speed and I love it

Destroyer682

2007 5 speed, my dad is the first owner and it’s still kicking

undowner

08 5spd Group 5 Rally Baby Her I Come.

GXRandom

Just picked up 07 with manual transmission- had to do maintenance stuff but I love driving it, plus the gas is crazy good coming from a V8 which is now only used on the weekends.

BeaverMartin

My 2017 has the 6 speed. Honda MT have wonderful shifter feel and engagement one would be missing out with an automatic.

Dave_is_Here

Black 2013 MT, the weird CDN one.

chuckswift843

08 5 speed. Totally stock go-cart

rjeatkr

07 Sport 5mt. 300k. 07 Sport 5mt 150k 08 Sport 5mt. 250k 11 Sport 5mt. 174k 15 EX-L. Cvt. 105k My wife loves her little red Fit. 17 HR-V. LX 6mt. 82k. It's really just a Fat GK. Funny thing is my kids swore they didn't want to learn manual. Now we need a 18-20 Sport 6mt to complete the collection. Patiently waiting for prices to come down.

Greyghost471

2010 Sport sapphire blue here

d27183n

2007 Sport. 5MT. Original owner. pushing 200k miles.

redditshy

ME!

caretakr

2012 Sport, 5-speed, 197k. No issues.

EastLynxOG

228k, 07 Fit Sport, 5 speed. So much fun

yospeedraceryo

My '09 sport 5spd on Enkei lowering kit makes a nice commuter in between weekends in the '96 Miata. So what if I like small cars, both practical and unpractical? 😉

Jumpy_Marketing9093

2015 6 speed

TomorrowPlusX

2010 5 speed Sport, black; bought it new, and it's the best car I've ever owned.

Frabjous_Tardigrade9

Buying my first Fit this week! 2013 5-speed MT. So excited!

SensitiveFeeling8834

2007 sport with a 5 spd manual 190k miles. I'll make a real post out of this if I can't figure this out, but I have a question. **^(Why can't I shift into reverse?)** 1-5 still shifts absolutely fine, Clutch feels fine, its not like reverse slips or anything, it feels like reverse just isn't there. I sent a picture for this analogy, imagine you're shifting down from reverse on the layout in this picture and theres nothing for you to slot into. thats what it feels like on my car rn. Reverse worked fine on this 1400 mi road trip until we got home and now I can't reverse out of the driveway! https://preview.redd.it/fbvfogeyfiad1.png?width=255&format=png&auto=webp&s=f8d06d15e5f1cfcef689b1bde5f22f6bdd696efd
