I always tell people the x52 and x52 pro are awesome at the right price. You got it at “the right price” so it’s awesome! Let me know if you need any help setting it up or need some key binds for your favorite games. (I may already have them) Happy flying! Here is an empty button map you can print and use for all your games https://forum.dcs.world/topic/99186-x52-pro-button-assignment-template/

Hello fellow x52 user! You can enable a registry edit to make the thumb cursor into an x/y axis.

This was my first proper HOTAS too. Grateful for what it gave me but I definitely do not regret upgrading away from it.

I spent hundreds of hours using X52 since 2015 until I replaced it with Gladiator and STECS last year

A tip, if the lights get annoying, Logitech doesn't let you turn them off, but if you go to Control Panel > Printers and Devices, you can go to the properties and change their brightness.

hitechpilot

And hence turn it off.

UsedVacation6187

using non-logitech software

TWVer

Not really. If you do it via Settings/Devices/Printers & HID (or joy.cpl) you are accessing the X52 driver settings. The X52 Pro also allows you to turn off or change the colors of each individual LED, but also has the same brightness slider as the X52 the OP just bought, which you can indeed use to turn off all the LEDs at once.

Fair enough! 🤝
