I bought like half a dozen full sized bottles at Lowes or someplace that had them on clearance for a dollar each. Some scorpion, ghost, and I forget what else. I thought I'd really scored. Threw them in the garbage. I don't know if I've ever done that with a hot sauce before. Straight in the trash.

I've only had the Melinda's Habanero Honey Mustard but its amazing. I keep a large bottle at home and that small one in my lunch bag and use it every day at work.
That honey mustard is the only one I have, but it's unique and delicious, so that's the one I chose, bc it's different than regular, so I always like having a bottle onhand.
I've never had this particular Kinder's sauce, but I will say that Kinder's spice rubs and sauces are 1000 times better than I ever would have assumed.
Specifically woodfired garlic seasoning, Japanese BBQ sauce, roasted garlic BBQ sauce, and peach bourbon seasoning are way better than they have the right to be.
Strange comparison for me. I feel that the Melindas is really a hot mustard more than it is a hot sauce. I find that it's not really suitable for anything that I wouldn't otherwise put mustard on
That honey mustard is the bomb! I eat that shit on my Chinese take out, on my nuggets, on my salads. I really dig it. It’s something different for a change
I see that Melinda's *Habanero Honey Mustard* going on hot dogs, sausages, spring rolls and egg rolls.
Admittedly, prefer Torchbearer's *Honey Badger* (which is much, MUCH hotter), though.
Lola's = so-so. Kinder's = more of a marinade-type sauce. Melinda's = pretty good! Winner is: **Melinda's!**
Agree. Just tried the variety pack with my hispanic daughter in law. Very mid. A few were good, but not living up to the hype is a damn good assessment.
Ty sir. I think they are worth a reevaluation... maybe my palette has changed. I see their bottles, though, and think it is a pretty label to sell a more-so average brand.
Broad statement when there dozens of Melinda's hot sauces. I like a few, hate a few, and love a few. Hard time believing anyone has tried them all and hates them all though.
I would argue that Melinda's is the perfect introduction between the typical grocery store sauces (Tabasco, cholula, tapatio, etc.) And getting exposed to the next tier of hot sauce Fandom.
Those of us who have gone down the rabbit hole have moved on from Melinda's. But it's a step into wanting to seek out... better.
Edit: fixed auotcorrection of Tapatio to "taxation"?
Melinda's is good. I'll add: Marie Sharp's is *great.* (Too bad it's not among the selection in OP's photo.)
And there are sooooo many awesomehotsauces out there. Thank goodness for choices!
Choices indeed. So many good ones, my top favorite has to be Cosmic Dumpling by Karma Sauces. Now my least favorite easily was Hot Ones Dragon In the Clouds. Omg it was unbearable.
I had a hard time with the honey mustard sauce until I realized I need to use it like a honey mustard sauce and not just a hot sauce. Stupid I know but now I love it.
I like the Ghost Pepper (Bhut Jolokia) Sauce, not the the Ghost Pepper Wing Sauce mind you, but have only had a small bottle of it and have never been able to find a full sized one.
Lola’s hot sauce is weakened beyond recognition of the regular pepper, but at least it’s a true hot sauce. Everything from Melinda’s is rich in preservatives and I generally avoid them. Never had kinders.
Lola’s is my verdict
I would go with the Habanero. I grew some Trinidad Scorpion peppers last year and still have a little of the sauce left from that batch and they tasted really good! My Habanero sauce is pretty good too and I also do a home made Habanero sweet catsup sauce.
I've bought it twice. The first one was absolutely amazing. I would describe it exactly like you did, a perfect buffalo.
The second purchase (in which I actually bought 3 mini bottles) had a super off flavor to it. It legitimately tasted acid, just pure vinegar grossness.
I've been too nervous to buy anymore but I'm guessing I just got a bunk batch since everyone is loving it in these comments. Just sucked it was 3 bottles.
Yeah I bought a couple of these bottles without ever trying it bc I generally like all the vinegar base hot sauces like Tabasco…. But holy shit I STUGGLED getting through them trying to act like it was alright😭.
I just got the Habanero Honey Mustard a few hours ago. They had a display at a local store that had 5 different varieties of Melinda in the little bottles. I haven't tried the others in your picture but the Melinda's is excellent.
Melinda’s!!
If you shop at Aldi they have a Polynesian hot sauce that is soooo good. Sweat with heat
I will be checking for it! I shop at Aldi frequently.
Also have key lime habanero
Kinders
I've been nothing but disappointed in Lola's. I really wanted to like it, but it's very one-note to me.
Yeah I agree, it was awful
The Melinda’s is nice.
Great on chicken, especially chicken strips, I throw chicken strips in a tortilla with some cheese and this sauce, fire.
Cholula
Lola’s is in my city - and I buy Melinda’s
That Melinda's on a beer brat is to die for 🤌🤌
I haven’t tried any but that honey mustard sounds delicious
It’s outstanding
It’s amazing, perfect on sandwiches and on the grill. I’ve been using it as a mustard base for pork on the smoker and it’s delightful
Hell yeah, I’m gonna get some.
You
aw
<3
MELINDAS ALL DAY
The trash can
Lmao

This competition should include [Trini Pepper Sauce](https://www.trinipeppersauce.com)
Melinda's for me
Yah
No idea, not heard of any of them but sure would like to try.
Depends on what you are eating.
Melinda's out of these for sure.
Malinda’s
Melinda’s.
That kinders shit is just terrible
Kinder's more of a BBQ Sauce brand, so I'm not surprised their hot sauce is mediocre at best tbh.
However, Kinders roasted Red Jalapeno is pretty good.
Their hot honey BBQ is good as well.
Agreed
Depends upon the use. Honey habanero for dressing wings I say
The Melinda's Ghost Pepper wing sauce is really good.
Lola's is literally garbage juice
I don't dislike many hot sauces, but Lola's is awful.
Lola's is actually just garbage brewed in hot water
Couldnt agree more. Decided to try the Lola scorpion. Its all salt and vinegar. I'm glad it was just one those same mini bottles. Drain pour.
I have really been into the Melinda's lines for a while. Really solid heat to flavor ratio.
Whichever tastes best to you?
I do not understand Lola’s and I somehow keep ending up with a bottle and going what even is this!? Kinders is okay. Melinda’s is great.
Right? . Lola’s was tossed in the trash immediately after trying LOL
I'd say the Kinder's. The habanero mustard is really good, but Kinder's is good too.
Lola’s is garbage.
The Melinda’s habanero honey mustard is REALLY good.
For heat Melinda's, for flavor Lola's, for a suppository... Kinders
Lolas tastes like soy sauce
Lola's 100% imo not as hot as it should be but the flavor is really good
Lola garbage…used as marinade…for chx brst…only vinegar
Why use many word when few do trick

What a strange lineup to compare. They all have vastly different application possibilities.
It's like comparing ketchup, mayo, and barbecue sauce... What are we putting it on bud?
Definitely not the Kinders.
Habanero honey mustard. Best Melinda's thing I've tried..
Was gonna say I just now tried it on my burger… 🍔 it’s so good
Hab hunny mussy
I’m only calling it mussy from here on out
I'd have to try kinders and get back to you. But I've tried the other two and that mustard is good on MOST things
Franks
El Yucateco
Love the habanero honey mustard on corn dogs and chicken wings
The habanero honey mustard is one of my favs. Never tried the middle one tho
I have wanted to try, how spicy is it?
Id say medium. Not anything super soicy but its got great flavor and a good bite
Thx, I’ll be on the hunt.
Ive only been able to find the smol bottles 😭
A “creamy Louisiana” is what I gave your mom last night.
I’ve never seen hot sauce with glue bottle caps
Kinders is pretty darn gooood! Also enjoy their spices line up for cooking, BBQ and the smoker.
For a scorpion pepper sauce that Lola’s incredibly mild.
And bland and vinegary and tastes nothing like scorpion peppers.
Kinders creamy Louisiana for me, that shit яiрs
Malinda’s anything is gonna kick it hard
Mustard
Lola’s is surprisingly good. They throw around some scary pepper names considering it’s not very hot though.
That creamy Louisiana is fuxxin amazing
And imo the Lola’s is ok but they all kind of taste the same… (or maybe my palette is scorched)
I agree that they taste the same, disagree that it's OK. They all taste like someone's failed first attempt at making hot sauce.
That kinder is god tier on pizza
Melinda’s
Melinda’s for sure
Lola's, Melinda, Kinder. In that order.
We keep the honey mustard stocked at all times in the work trailer, for a crew of 15 it’s everyone’s favorite.
I've only had the Melinda's Habanero Honey Mustard but its amazing. I keep a large bottle at home and that small one in my lunch bag and use it every day at work.
Melinda’s is so good. Haven’t tried the other two though
I just tried the Melindas. Average at best. I was disappointed.
That honey mustard is the only one I have, but it's unique and delicious, so that's the one I chose, bc it's different than regular, so I always like having a bottle onhand.
Yeah I mean these aren't really at all in the same categories, but that kinders is bomb.

Melinda’s
That honey mustard is the bomb! I eat that shit on my Chinese take out, on my nuggets, on my salads. I really dig it. It’s something different for a change
I just picked up some of that honey mustard and it's delicious.
Weird, I like a lot of Melinda's sauces, but thought this one was totally disgusting.
I feel like it would be great with egg rolls
Melinda’s habanero garlic is the bomb so I’d try that Melinda’s
Lola’s
I really need to find that Kinders Hot sauce 😭
I've never tried any of the three but the only one I would go for would be Lola's because it is in a glass bottle!
The Habanero honey mustard is a secret ingredient in my egg salad
Not anymore!
I don’t mind :) it would make me happy if more people found use for this unique honey mustard.
I really like the Melinda’s hot sauce
That Kinders creamy Louisiana is incredible
I see that Melinda's *Habanero Honey Mustard* going on hot dogs, sausages, spring rolls and egg rolls. Admittedly, prefer Torchbearer's *Honey Badger* (which is much, MUCH hotter), though. Lola's = so-so. Kinder's = more of a marinade-type sauce. Melinda's = pretty good! Winner is: **Melinda's!**
I’ll take Kinders over the other two because I’ve never had a bad Kinders anything
Kinders continues to exceed my expectations every time I try one of their products.
Completely. I even won a people’s choice award at a steak competition by using their fajita seasoning in some asada tacos.
You are my friend, you win.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)
Melinda's never lives up to the hype.
Agree. Just tried the variety pack with my hispanic daughter in law. Very mid. A few were good, but not living up to the hype is a damn good assessment.

Broad statement when there dozens of Melinda's hot sauces. I like a few, hate a few, and love a few. Hard time believing anyone has tried them all and hates them all though.
Just not enjoyed what I've tried.
I hear ya. Some are underwhelming. Don't give up!
Honestly, I just never enjoyed their experience. Maybe it is worth trying them again.
Melinda's is good. I'll add: Marie Sharp's is *great.* (Too bad it's not among the selection in OP's photo.) And there are sooooo many awesomehotsauces out there. Thank goodness for choices!
Choices indeed. So many good ones, my top favorite has to be Cosmic Dumpling by Karma Sauces. Now my least favorite easily was Hot Ones Dragon In the Clouds. Omg it was unbearable.
re: [Cosmic Dumpling by Karma Sauces](https://karmasauce.com/products/cosmic-dumpling) Ingredients: rice wine vinegar, red jalapeno peppers, tamari (water, soybeans, salt, alcohol), brown sugar, orange juice, garlic, tomato paste (fresh tomatoes, naturally sourced citric acid), lemon juice, honey, sesame oil, ginger, cilantro, orange zest. Oh, I have GOT to try this sometime! And multi-award winning, too!
As for the brand as a whole, easily Melinda’s.
I had a hard time with the honey mustard sauce until I realized I need to use it like a honey mustard sauce and not just a hot sauce. Stupid I know but now I love it.
100%. Not exactly a hot sauce but it definitely has its place depending on what you're eating!
Mustard on the beat, ho.
Don’t sleep on that mustard. Right.
You mean “Muzah onda beet ho”. Blew my mind when I looked up what he was actually saying!
I've tried a lot of Melinda's sauces and the Habanero Honey Mustard is the only one I've liked enough to buy again. It's really good stuff.
I've enjoyed the majority of my Melinda's sauces. Especially the pizza one. Its not hot but it adds quite a bit of flavor to my pizza.
I like the Ghost Pepper (Bhut Jolokia) Sauce, not the the Ghost Pepper Wing Sauce mind you, but have only had a small bottle of it and have never been able to find a full sized one.
I like the roasted garlic habenaro one they make. And the jalepeno ketchup! I’m definitely trying this mustard if I see it.
Lola’s hot sauce is weakened beyond recognition of the regular pepper, but at least it’s a true hot sauce. Everything from Melinda’s is rich in preservatives and I generally avoid them. Never had kinders. Lola’s is my verdict
I wanted to love Lola's bc it's local for me but it's too watery and the taste is just off for me
It’s local for me too! Iowa represent hahaha
Never had the other 2 but I have Lola's and I barely touch the stuff.
I would go with the Habanero. I grew some Trinidad Scorpion peppers last year and still have a little of the sauce left from that batch and they tasted really good! My Habanero sauce is pretty good too and I also do a home made Habanero sweet catsup sauce.
I have an obsession with the Malinda’s honey mustard
what do you usually put it on?
On a hot dog? MmmmmMmmmm that’s good
I won’t buy any sauce that comes in plastic.
Found the bad boy of r/hotsauce!!
That Melinda’s honey mustard is sooo good.
what's a good usage for it?
Anything you would use honey mustard for
i was hoping for more of a recommendation, i don't normally use honey mustard on anything, but I do like it!
I LOVE the Creamy Louisiana. It's not hot but it has that perfect buffalo sauce type flavor.
I had a sample size bottle of it and finished it that night. Can’t find it anywhere now
I've bought it twice.
Exactly! It’s pretty damn good id say :)
love it. i havent tasted Lolas, and Melindas was just OK
Kinder Louisiana kicks ass
Kinder has the best of every flavor lol
Wow I didn’t know kinders makes hot sauce but now I need it.
Kinders.
How can you pick a winner, those are three completely different flavors.
Apples, Sourdough, Gouda - GO
Lola’s tastes like literal plastic.
Yeah I bought a couple of these bottles without ever trying it bc I generally like all the vinegar base hot sauces like Tabasco…. But holy shit I STUGGLED getting through them trying to act like it was alright😭.
Thank you. I thought I was the only one who thought their sauce had a chemical taste.
i looooveee that habanero honey mustard
Update: You guys were right, the Honey Habanero is the true winner here! Louisiana second. And the Lola’s is in the trash. Thanks for the feedback :D
I just got the Habanero Honey Mustard a few hours ago. They had a display at a local store that had 5 different varieties of Melinda in the little bottles. I haven't tried the others in your picture but the Melinda's is excellent.
I'm addicted to their jalapeño ketchup, it's pretty bomb.
Second time I've seen Jalapeno Ketchup mentioned in this thread so far. I need to try it. Jalapeno is my favorite pepper
Agreed. It’s damn good
So many snob bitches on this subreddit
yeah, fuck people for having strong opinions and good taste
Damn I want to try that creamy Louisiana.
Yeah I’m gonna try to find that now!
