It also worked. It is now in the manual of new type 2 FTL engines to apply a differential voltage across one side of the engine if it fails to start, but the first phase starting capacitors still have some charge

The head medical officer is also human. They once tried jumpstarting a type 2 FTL engine with a defibrillator. It's miraculous no one was hurt
