It's from fallout new vegas: Dead Money dlc. It's a ghost person. Canonically the only way to kill them is to break one of their limbs after you put them down.
After many corridors, rooms, and makeshift obstacles. They *finally* caught up to the human. And to make things better, they managed to corner him in a room with one way in, and out. The human was panicking as the rest of the crew of eight filled into the room, blocking the exit, the last one in closing the hatch behind themselves. They menaced the human as they began to encircle the poor man pressed up against the wall.
"No where left to run *human*. Now, you're stuck here with us." The leader of the group said with a sardonic grin, the others maliciously chuckling along. That is, till they heard the human chuckling along, spilling over to a laughter that grew dark.
The alien hired muscle looked amongst one another, focusing back once the human spoke.
"You're right. There's no where to run. But the thing you forgot, an itty...bitty..fact." The human bore his eyes into them with a grin hidden by his helmet. "Your stuck with the being who breaths face melting air!" He cackled as he vented his suit in the crampt room. The aliens collectively realized too late as they pushed, and pulled their way to the hatch in a new panic, struggling amongst themselves to get to the door and open it. All the while skin and muscle was sloshing off their bodies as they fought each other to escape.

When you fart as you sit down and now you’re at face level

This would also mean that any attack that punctured the suit would also release the gas, making melee combat with humans a lose-lose situation.
