Do you need a mouse? If not, they just released the Logitech Keys to Go 2 and it has a built-in cover to go over the keyboard!

kqli06

Do you know how the Pebble 2 compares to the Keys-to-Go 2? I'm debating which one to get. The Pebble 2 fits my needs perfectly at a good price. But the KTG2 looks so tempting. It's more compact and has better portability, but I'm having a hard time justifying the price..

DinJarrus

I actually tried the Pebble 2 and there was lag with typing on Notes App. Idk why either. For reference, I have the newest M4 iPad. Once I got the Keys to Go 2, it was as if you were typing on a Magic Keyboard, meaning there was no hiccups at all with the Bluetooth inputs with any of the keys. It’s pricey but worth it!

MathematicianLow7369

I prefer using the mouse over the trackpad but i check that one out as well

Skynoby

I don’t like that kind of replaceable battery in the Go 2.

steve90814

I use the keyboard and it is good.

MathematicianLow7369

Which one the magic?

steve90814

The logitech K380

MathematicianLow7369

How is the battery like on the bluetooth keyboard

steve90814

I‘m going on probably four months now with the current batteries and no sign of the battery running out yet. I should get some new ones for when it does.

flightofwonder

I have the Logitech keyboard and mouse and absolutely love the keyboard! It types well, and the travel feels good. The Logitech mouse isn't perfect and has some of the same issues as Apple's mouse such as the ergonomics being a little uncomfortable with your palm, but it otherwise works well.

MathematicianLow7369

Since i have big hands would it feel uncomfortable for my use

leafsquared

probably.more uncomfortable yes

Mediocre_Plum_7573

i have logitech pebble keyboard and mouse. I don't often use keyboard and mouse with ipad so this setup needed for once in a while works best for me.

No_Sense3450

Magic Keyboard is amazing but expensive but totally worth it in my opinion.

MathematicianLow7369

The thing is i can afford both just evaluating which will fit me better

TyphaniesEpiphanies

I use an ergonomic vertical mouse, so I got the logitech mc mini.

Natural_Situation401

They are two completely different products. The MK attaches to your iPad and turns it into laptop mode, the Logitech is a separate keyboard and mouse. Honestly the MK is a much better keyboard and you can just get an extra mouse if you want it.

MathematicianLow7369

Oh thank you also another question not related to this. Im still debating between the 11 and 13 inch. How is the 11 inch in ur opinion

Natural_Situation401

I bought the 13 inch in the beginning and returned it. Now I have the 11 inch. For my use case the 13 was too big and uncomfortable to use as a tablet. I would always use it with the MK mostly in laptop mode, but imo it’s not quite as easy and capable to use as a true laptop so I might as well use my MacBook in that case. The 11 inch feels much more comfortable to hold and carry around.

MathematicianLow7369

How about taking notes like writing

-Pickypenguin-

I'm writing this using the Pebble Keys 2 on my M2 iPad Air. Before buying I considered the Magic Keyboard and the Logitech combo touch. It all comes down to personal preference. For me, I draw on the iPad and don't want to take the case off every time, I don't use the keyboard very often and a wireless keyboard is a good idea for me. For these reasons and the price I chose the Pebble Keys 2.

bvtterflybitch

same ! i was also thinking abt getting the MK but i use my ipad for reading more than for typing things. thats the main issue i have with the mk, i dont want to have to bring it back and remove it from the case. having pebble keys makes it easier for me and its also very portable since its lightweight

Dr_Superfluid

Any keyboard is ok. You are not gonna have a good time with that mouse though. Basically you won’t have a good time with any mouse on the iPad. You can have a tolerable time with the Magic Mouse (with all its shortcomings) and that’s about it.

zishazhe

Wow i just got the logitech pebble 2 combo today. i just paired it with my ipad. i like it so far however i just got it today so i will wait until i use it more before i make a decision on it.

MathematicianLow7369

I comment on this so u can come back to give ur decision on it

zishazhe

okay will do

zishazhe

I have been using the keyboard today and i like it. I have been using the pages app with the keyboard. I plan to take it with my ipad to a local cafe and see how i like it outside of my house

shreyashkadam

updates?

zishazhe

Not good. So I returned the keyboard for a cheaper one same version different color to Amazon. The new one was around 48 dollars on Amazon and the original was 59.99. The one I returned worked well so I assumed the same version with a different color would work too. I was wrong. The keyboard did not work at all the mouse did. The keyboard keys seem to be the issue. I came on Reddit for a solution and found the keyboard reset code which is esc 0 esc 0 esc b and that did not work. I am returning it and keeping the Apple Magic Keyboard that I held on to incase I had an issue with the Logitech one.

Select_Eskamander

I really enjoy the trackpad on the MK but I use my pro mostly for photo editing & other creative work so it might boil ↓ to your intended primary use case & the mobility you require since a mouse will require extra tabletop or flat surfaces in comparison to the MK.

Thomatino

Keep in mind that the Magic Keyboard is almost half the weight of the pebble keyboard

MathematicianLow7369

Wait i didnt even think about that the Logitech keyboard is heavier

Evanthekevin02

Magic Keyboard is 100% worth it

Sky_Linx

I would say save some cash and get the Logitech. I have the big sister K780 which is bigger than the K380 and has the numeric pad, but the keys and thus the typing experience is quite similar. I absolutely love this keyboard. The typing feel is very nice.

Substantial-Pizza131

Why not a used mac magic keyboard (yes same name for two different products 🤯) Its gonna cost less and its 100% apple

SoCalDawg

Still rocking a K811 from almost a decade ago. Love the Logitech keyboards.
