I love my 15 pro max. It’s beautiful.

Ashen_one933

I think the best option is 15 Pro Max + MacBook. iPad is good for drawing or editing photos but we have almost all things in Pro Max. It’s like a mini version of iPad mini. Now writing to you I feel I need my 12 to type but I prefer better battery.

lurkzone

Reddit sucked on the ipad

Ashen_one933

Why?

shivaswrath

It's perfect for me. I also have gone fully without a case.

WeebchefXD

Just out of the curiosity how much ur balls weigh each ?

shivaswrath

Like a solid 750gm each. When I travel (on plane), I put a case on because I always fumble at TSA or something. But at home and running errands, getting kids, I let my balls Swell. And forehead sweat. (Also have apple care)

LadyWish

I couldn’t do that. I had my IPhone 11 for over 3 years with a case and screen protector. Replaced the case a few times, but the protector lasted the whole time. When i sold it back to Apple it looked brand new. My iPhone 15 i have had for 5 months and it just got a crack in it. I am hoping it is just the glass screen protector and not the actual screen. I wont find out until i get my replacement protector and access the damage 😭 I also have Apple Care + with theft and loss protection, but getting my phone repaired can be a pain.

Ashen_one933

He has big balls.

tonitacker

I went without a case until I needed one to attach my phone securely to my bike

shivaswrath

Yeah that's making sense to me!

Lost_Apricot_4658

yes. team no case

tonyyu369

I wish I bought the iPhone 15 Pro instead of PM

Funnyusernameinhere

Because you couldn’t get used to the size ? I have a 12 pro but I’m considering my next one to be a pro max but I’m afraid I won’t get used to the bigger size

tonyyu369

A smaller phone is just easier to carry around for those who don’t always go out with bag. At home when I need a larger screen I can use iPad or MacBook.

Funnyusernameinhere

I see. That is true, at home we might have better solutions for a bigger screen. I do use my phone at home a lot for viewing video content, so that would be a plus for the PM ( I have a regular 12 pro). But the issue I find is that if the phone will fit in my pocket ahah I don’t use a bag when I go out, it’s always on the pocket

tonyyu369

Go to Apple Store, try to put the Pro phone into your pocket and give it a try :)

Ashen_one933

Wait for 16 Pro, it will get 5x zoom.

Potato_dragon65

wanna exchange ? where are you from ?

thisisdito

I was using an iPhone 11 before I changed to 15 pro max. At first, I felt like it was big for me but now I cannot change to smaller screen.

CZEchpoint_

Same mate. And with how slim the bezels got they got similar width for much bigger screen. PM is little taller but you can hold it almost the same as 11.

Ashen_one933

I watched the last of us on Pro Max. The experience of watching movies is stunning.

CZEchpoint_

True the big display and great Oled is very good for movies and shows. I usually watch the Boys before going to bed. It’s really good.

Ashen_one933

Boys ? Bad boys?

CZEchpoint_

The Boys from Amazon.

Snipexx51

A little taller lol. Its almost a whole cm taller. For example the difference between a regular 12 and a 12 mini is 1.5cm. The 11 and 15PM size difference is very obvious and feelable

CZEchpoint_

True but that really doesn’t change how you hold the phone most of the time. That’s what I meant.

Slow-Personality1175

Same here !!! And what an improvement going from 11 to 15PM. Just amazing

animatedminus

I have big hands so it feels regular size to me lol

turtonatorpapa

It’s so light that it doesn’t feel like it!

Ashen_one933

With a case is light? I use mine and it’s heavy but good. I have to change the case for Spigen.

turtonatorpapa

I use an apple silicon case but I think you will notice it’s still light no matter what case because the phone is made of titanium

ukeyoner

No case, fine. With case, to big.

whynotyy

This..I have insurance so use it mostly without case and feels about right even for me as I have small hands

Ashen_one933

I wish I would have more money and using phone that way.

WishAgitated8794

Maybe you would have more money if you didn’t spend time playing video games.. Change my mind

whynotyy

Hope you’re having a laugh? One doesn’t affect the other..I work a stressful job, am married and have a 3y daughter yet I love MY late night hour to play a couple of games

WishAgitated8794

You’re right, that was uncalled for. I was just triggered because video games at night led to my brother being in a sad situation so I was ranting. If you’re making it work, all power to you man. Keep doing what you’re doing.

Imjrb3

I try the Pro Max every few years and ultimately return to the “regular” Pro model. I had the 15PM all fall and early winter. Mostly because of the camera upgrade over 15P. It’s so unwieldy. And as Apple still doesn’t allow software to take advantage of that larger screen it inevitably ends up being too much for me. I love how pocketable and light the 15P is. iPad Pro for the larger screen now for me.

YaBoyZeek

I had a 15 pro but wanted the bigger screen and battery and I picked up my girlfriends 11(she’s getting a new one this weekend) and it feels so small

Ashen_one933

iPhone 11 is still a great phone. Support to 2025 yr.

YaBoyZeek

She’s been complaining about the battery and the phone for a bit

Ashen_one933

Who she?

ferdousazad

It feels small as i have big hands

lotuskid34

I had the max size for the past 3 years. Just a few days ago I downsized to the standard pro and gave my 15 pro max to my wife So far in a few days of use it’s kind of a relief to go back to a compact size It’s certainly a very individual preference though

Ashen_one933

Sometimes 15 Pro Max is a little too big and I imagine how cool it would look going to smaller phone but I still prefer bigger size.

AggressiveSpot5139

I’m getting the smaller pro next time

jebakerii

Where do you live that you cannot go to a store and use one? Everyone's response here will be their personal taste and meaningless to your relative needs.

Swaizex

Perfect size for me all along is 6.1 Got the pro exactly for that reason.. Pro max is just too big for handling, carrying in pockets, typing and holding long periods.

Ashen_one933

You did a good job. I mean I love using my phone but now for example is a moment that I want to use a smaller phone typing to you. Most of the time is really good, don’t fit bad in my shorts. I’m mobile photographer and 5x zoom is insane but it’s annoying when you want to take a photo of something and you are too close of the object. 3x is a balance and sweet spot

Extra_Pilot_1992

I went from a 12 pro max to the 15 pro max so for me, it was exactly the same size with no changes

Ashen_one933

It isn’t lighter a little?

thisguyisnotyou

Best decision I made. For someone small to average hands, I almost bought the regular pro just for the size. Opted to buy the pro max at the last minute because of bigger battery and 5x. Have never regretted. I use it with the apple silicon case and it’s a perfect combo. Not too heavy and I got used to it just after a few days. I won’t say it gives 2 days of battery if you’re a medium to heavy user. Just one whole day but that’s pretty good

tylerronan

Wouldn’t want any bigger for me it’s perfect

unikorn10

I went from iphone 11 to 15PM. I was sure I need a bigger screen because I love to scroll on social media and watching videos. At first I was afraid that it’s maybe too big but I got used to it like half day later. My iPhone 11 with case is almost as wide as my 15PM just a bit shorter on top. I’m in love with 15PM, months later I think this is the perfect size. Two days ago I used my 11 but I can’t look at the screen anymore because it’s so small and blurry.

Gilgathresh

I currently have a OnePlus 10 pro with a spigen case, I've been trying to decide between PM and regular pro for like 2 weeks and I still can't decide. The Pro feels amazing in my hand, but I worry about the battery, my current phone has about 4-6 hours SoT but with up to like 20 hours idle. The PM feels good too but I don't know what it's like with a case. And I want to be able to take more photos/videos as I have a 6 month old My day to day use is just social media really (twitter, insta reels tiktok etc) and reading emails/messenger and Spotify. I tend to go out walking alot in shorts, I'm 181cm tall with below average sized male hands. Anyone with a similar experience? I would appreciate any insight on what I should maybe go for, I've always bought Chinese brands (OnePlus, Huawei) and want something that's actually going to last 3-4 years.

frootloops17

The battery difference between 15 pro and PM isn’t significant, I remember the PM performed just 30 minutes better than the pro in a test article. I got the 15 pro because it I can use it one handed comfortably (in the case of using GPS on maps and say like my other hand is holding a drink or something it’ll be much more convenient). Been using for a month now & no complains so far!

Gilgathresh

Thanks for the reply! I took the plunge and went with the 15 pro. I am very impressed so far, I agree with the one handed use it's such a breath of fresh air! battery is great honestly nowhere near as bad as what I'd heard. I love Face ID lol

OSCGJoseph18

in pockets it is too be honest but i need the extra battery so i deal with it

Ashen_one933

For example my 15 Pro Max lasts 1 very heavy day

OSCGJoseph18

same here

etham29

I was worried it would be too big but now whenever I pick up someone else’s non pro max sized iPhone it feels hilariously small to me. I don’t regret it at all, love the phone

Ashen_one933

Same. I think besides arts like drawing or editing, 15 Pro Max replaces the iPad. The best combo is Plus/Pro Max and MacBook.

_mike_815

14 pro max here. Fantastic device. Not too big.

Ashen_one933

It’s a still good phone. I say something: My 15 Pro Max screen is brighter than my iPhone 12 but in sunny day screen is dimming so that’s a marketing but I know it’s because Apple solution of the heating. As for editing photos screen stills goes to low brightness. It’s also hot or warm sometimes. That’s normal it’s a small device. That’s my experience.

D3athByCyANid3

Funny thing is I find my 15 pro max small in my hands, but when I see it on another’s hand it looks so big making me wonder if I own a Pro (not Max) 😅🤣

Ashen_one933

Woman: I want something big 15 Pro Max: 🤣

Fit-Entertainer-3207

I love mine! The size feels perfect and the battery life is immaculate

jackpotkid22

It sure doesn’t feel too big or cumbersome for me with regular size hands

Guitar_Scary

I was worried about the size difference between this and my previous iPhone, the 13 Pro, and it was worth the bigger size to me. It’s not too large, and it weighs less than the 14 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max. The battery life difference is worth the upgrade

chonkybug

My partner has the PM with an Apple silicone case and I have the Pro with an otterbox defender and honestly his phone is easier to hold than mine 🥲

Outrageous_Fix_9484

I love mine and could never go back to a smaller size phone.

Price-x-Field

I wish they made a bigger one

Ashen_one933

iPhone 16 Pro Max 6,9 inches soon.

iamDEVANS

I’ve just gone from the XS MAX to the 15 pro max, the 15 feels a lot better in hand and more refined too.

[deleted]

I upgraded from iphone 11 to iphone 15 pro max and I felt that its a big and heavy phone for my small hands. I wasn’t able to use it with one hand. But I got used to it in few weeks and I love the bigger display and battery. I think that I make a good decision not to go for regular pro because of battery life. If apple somehow put a bigger battery in the regular pro model then I would go for it as it is the perfect size for my hands.

Ashen_one933

I don’t know how long fingers I have but they are average or big probably. If you feel you have small hands don’t never go with bigger size.

ihatethiseffnplace

I can’t imagine picking the regular Pro over the Pro Max. The bigger screen is better, the battery life is night and day better, and the 5x lens is a game changer if you use your phone for any kind of photography.

Ashen_one933

5x is a game changer yeah! From another side of coin is annoying for a positive way because sometimes you stand too close for the subject and you have to move back. When I stand on one side of the street I can catch a person to my frame, sometimes can’t catch the whole car, just only parts of it like some back or wheels. There is also 2x but 3x would be perfect. Generally I love 5x zoom

Melodic-Shake-8641

I love my pro max not too big just perfect

Vvictor88

Perfect size if you compare to galaxy s24u. It was huge , heavy and inconvenient size in pocket.

JGoBrazy90

It’s the perfect size for a phone , you’ll get used to it in a few days

rockerscott

It’s average.

Content_Necessary265

Nice.

Organic-Algae-9438

I went from 11 pro to 14 pro max. I got used to the bigger screen in about 0.7 seconds. The weight took a bit longer. Let’s say a few hours. Yet, the 15 pro max is lighter than my 14 pro max so that was less of an issue for you.

Deep-Seaweed6172

I had a 13PM before and went with a 15 Pro (not Max) and I’m glad that I went with the smaller one. While the bigger screen and battery are nice it always felt to big for me with a PM even without a case. For movies or while traveling I have a 12.9 iPad Pro which has a bigger screen anyways and very long battery life so the only thing you notice in day to day usage is the battery. My 15 Pro gave me ~8h of screen time on iOS 17.x and around 7h now on the iOS 18 Dev Beta (but I think this is related to the beta being in early stages and they will probably fix it with the final release in September). What I realized regarding battery is that I always have the option to charge my phone around me. At home I have chargers (and leave the phone on a MagSafe charger most of the time to use the standby mode feature). At work most people can charge their phone too. In the car they have a charger too etc. For long trips you can easily take a small power bank too but that’s fine a really rare situation for me. I have the 15 Pro since launch day and never felt like the bigger battery from my previous Pro Max is something I miss out on with the 15P. Some thoughts you should have when deciding which one to grab. Do you plan to use a case? Even though I have AC+ for the 15P I use a case with a MagSafe kickstand since it is super convenient. A case adds extra size the phones size and thickness and can make a phone that feels great caseless feel uncomfortable with one onto it. Can you use a smaller one with one hand or not? I have very big hands and can fully use my 15 Pro in one hand. With a Pro Max that is not possible. If you have small hands and need both for a Pro anyways than a Pro Max is no downside. Do you know you are not around a charger very often and plan to use cellular a lot? I noticed the battery drains significantly faster on cellular on my 15 Pro than on WiFi. If I would use it a lot connected to cellular and in situations without a charger a Pro Max would make a real benefit with its bigger battery. If you have chargers all around anyways it doesn’t make a difference.

DRS-MICKY

I would say the Pro would be the best size . I'm using 15ProMax and came from 14 Pro P.S: I have big hands too, still I feel the Pro would have been the best on the hands but you gotta give it for the battery

keefeere

I’s slightly smaller than s24ultra, I wanted top phone but s24 too much for me, so I decided to switch to iPhone. But! I have relatively short fingers and with conjunction of that iPhone has bad gestures for one-handed control it’s something painful for me to adopt

mwahhab

Who told you the battery lasts for 2 days.

Norio22

I love it

Meckez90

Its perfect. Even a 7,2" screen would be nice. I have huge hands.

QuinzyEnvironment

Same, once you got big hands, you want you phone as big as it can get. I never had issues using the 15pm using with only 1 hand for typing, but ofc 2 hands is always faster

NearbyDark3737

It’s the 6.7, I’ve really appreciated that size sing my 12 pro max

bilalx1319

Meh..

Electrical_Good_6409

I have small hands and it only took me a day to get used to it. Great phone but even with battery optimizations and not crazy usage I generally get 1 day of battery life. Which is fine. I never have to stress out about battery but never get two days.

PlatformNo7011

nope. small hands here. i used the iphone 6plus before the 15pm and i got used to it and now im perfectly fine with the phone !

Apple_User37

I’ll always be a Pro Max user !

Ashen_one933

Just imagine my battery dropped from 100 % to 30% but very heavy using - lte + taking 5x zoom photos. Whole day.

SnooWalruses9683

I currently have a 14Pro but will definitely get a max size as my next. My phone is pretty much my personal computer and so I need the bigger size for videos, finances, social media, etc.

Fantastic-Wishbone33

I’ve had my 15 PM Blue for 7+ months and it’s perfect size (to me) , battery life is very good , wouldn’t say great . Def keeping for 3+ years !

Brilliant-Appeal-173

I’ve had the larger phones ever since they came out. Back when they were just “plus”. I could never go back to the smaller screen! Even with my smaller female hands, the larger phone is more comfortable to hold. And I love the bigger screen.

rizombie

I'm very excited about the size increase later this year. I'd say it's not big enough.

Remon89

Want my 15 pro max even bigger, waiting for the new 16 Pro max with 6.9 inch screen.

2Beast2die

Its good phone next level perfect size too

xdxmann

Perfect

eatingthesandhere91

This is my third ‘max’ sized iPhone and frankly the lighter of the three, so it’s definitely not that unwieldy, unlike my 13 Pro Max which did weigh quite a bit, as did my 12 Pro Max.

Rabble_Runt

It’s one of the smallest Pro Max models they ever made and will probably lightest too.

Dismal_Cricket_3552

I went from an 11PM to a 15PM so it feels very similar in terms of size. 15 is thinner though

Difficult-Tale-6819

I love my iph15pro max. The quality of sounds is satisfactory! The camera is superb, watching movies is amazing!! You can never go wrong!! At first, i was so hesitant, ang daming information about trial for titanium, umiinit, i did search about it watching videos in yt ,tiktok. about the experienced of using this phone etc! Sobrang tagal ko pinag isipan 2 or 3 months? Kasi bet ko din ang 14 pro max or 15plus mas cheaper than the 15 promax. But to see is to believe tlga, from android flagship phones upgraded into apple. 1 month using it pero never uminit, matagal pa sya malowbat (so far). Grabeng upgrade tlga ginawa ko at hndi ako nag sisi!! Dito ko tinapos yung jonh wick from chapter 1 to 4 super enjoy tlga!! I have a small hands, pero mas sanay ako sa bigger phone tlga.

Lanky_Throwaway117

No but I’m more on the tall size so it’s not bad for me

Mnml_Id

I first wanted to try the 15 PM then started to dislike it for it’s size / weight, if you don’t use it a lot is fine but once you start to use it for long time it’s slowly getting annoying in your hands, that’s why I switched back to 15 Pro

WishAgitated8794

Bruh, do you know how much time we waste playing video games? It doesn’t contribute to our lives. Buttttt maybe you can change my mind, how does playing videos contribute to a mature adult life? I have a 15PM. I was skeptical about the size in my hands and pockets. it fits in all my pockets and haven’t had an issue with handling (also have a thick otterbox case on it)

Lost_Apricot_4658

you get used to the dimension in like 10min

tomraz0

I have 15 pro and i Think its’s too big

Stratosto3

Get it this size, its all but confirmed the 16 pro max will be slightly bigger by the leaked cases for them.

StormChaseJG

I’ve had a max sized phone for several generations and I like the size, it doesn’t seem large to me until I pick up a regular sized phone and think how tiny they are. The battery is great and the screen size is perfect. I’ve now had the 6s+, X, XS Max, 12 PM, 13PM & 15PM in fact the only regular sized iPhone I ever had was the iPhone 5 which I still have today and is tiny in comparison

WelderEastern3600

If you have larger hands 15PM is perfect. If you have small hands 15PM will probably not be enjoyable. Not sure if this helps, but 11PM is very close in size to 15PM

clickclank9

I went with the 15PM but noticed it was just a tad to big for where I like to put my phone in the car and for my pocket so I returned it for the 15 Pro and love the size of the Pro. Just a personal thing I guess

thots89

Been using 6.7 androids and did not really like using two hands all the time. Coming from a XS, the 15 Pro is an upgrade but not too big for me

HIGHER_FRAMES

I’ll tell you this. Unless all you do is text, no iPhone ain’t gonna last a full 2 days of average use. The max I’ve tested is the next following day with barely any use at 34%. If you count that as two days. Sure, yet battery is still a big ask for these phones.

09stibmep

Are you saying “barely any use” and it got down to 34%!? This does not sound right at all. Something must be up with yours and I’d suggest taking it to apple for a look.

HIGHER_FRAMES

No il saying for a 2 day cycle. The next day after my first use case, it was at 34%. So the second day had 34% battery left. If you count that as two days, then sure. I count that as a day and maybe a half. (Yet I saw the battery before noon)

09stibmep

But it depends on your use! So how much did you use it?

HIGHER_FRAMES

My goal was to test the day to day avg use of the phone. I’m a heavy user, so if I did what I do on a day to day, I would be charging my phone at least 2 times day. I don’t know one iPhone that will last 2 full days, even if it’s avg use (not light use).

09stibmep

So do you mean “barely any use” or heavy use then? The story seems to be evolving…

HIGHER_FRAMES

I explain my answer more extensively below to your response. Hopefully the clears confusion. With above I meant that I tested it lightly (which would be avg use case for many) I’m a heavy user by default, so that’s not in consideration when testing.

HIGHER_FRAMES

I wanted to keep it light. So I watched YouTube videos, took a few pictures and texted of course. The real drain was phone calls, (I didn’t game because that would mess up the test results). Due to the 5G modem, it kills battery levels. At a 1 hour phone call, that took a little more than 10%. My test saw that if I stayed home or at my local office, I saved a tremendous amount of battery (even with calls) due to WiFi.

09stibmep

Right. I can’t really get much from this unfortunately. There’s some minor omissions required to make this anywhere remotely scientific: duration of YouTube’s unknown and the duration of calls over 5G unknown. Sounds considerable but you want to think of it as “barely any use”. Not much point talking about this when all your providing is “1 phone call that took a little more than 10%”. How are we supposed to get anything from this? Was this call 1 minute or 1 hour? Anyway who cares. My experience is different to yours. The Max phone battery is very impressive and I can easily get through two days. Suggest you take yours to apple for a look.

HIGHER_FRAMES

That’s fair, there’s nothing scientifically about this testing. I’m just saying you’re not gonna find any type of battery where this phone will last with average use, for a whole full two days. There is a point where you charge your phone eventually during that day. It could be the end of day or next morning. A full two days is a dream to come. Yeah this info isn’t important, yet OP asked will it last 2 days on a single charge and my answer is yes, if you baby it. For average use case. Not at all (Music for a hour and some, light 30 min gaming (non GPU intensive), 3 hrs of total talk time and texting, YouTube (social media) 1 hour 1/2, light photos and videos. ) You may have about 30-40 percent left (that’s not taking in consideration of standby that actively drains battery.) Above I would count as a avg phone usage for a daily driver. That ain’t gonna last you a whole 2 days.
