I would love to go to Japan. Love to. I'm 48 and believe that Japan is on my bucket list...but I will try and understand the culture a little bit *at least* so that I can make the most of my visit and maybe make...a few friends while I'm there? Have a lical tell me some great spot to check out off the beaten path, maybe? Smile at someone and have them smile back? I don't know...just seems like it'd be a much nicer trip were I to interact with the Japanese people in a positive and happy way.
