A dac or amp isn’t going to change the sound (unless it’s a tube amp, which isn’t ideal for iems anyways). Only different between any decent amp or dongle is output volume , and 99% of iems don’t need much.
Depending on the power of the IEM and how much power you need, you can choose which IEM you want Done You can decide whether you need a strong DAC or not, but in any case, if the IEm does not need much power, you can be satisfied with any simple DAC such as CX31993 to increase the volume level

The Arete is actually made to work with just about anything. I’d get a cheap dongle at most.
