I have relatives who are 9-12 year olds with 40 year old parents and they all are hard-core fans. I think almost any age can be Imagine Dragons fans, since they have clean music but also deep lyrics.
Yeah, that’s exactly why they are (mostly) so well liked. They put out music that is easy to listen to, they’ve got great lyrics, attractive instrumentation, and overall a very positive message to the world
I am 16 and I heard a few songs at first in 2017 or 2018 and one in 2022 but it wasn’t until the end of 2022 think December I really started listening to them. And I have been listening to them since.
15 (my favourite band) but inherited from my dad, 47 (also his favourite band)
he always played it in the car so i grew up listening to night visions and smoke and mirrors, then i rediscovered the band after murcury which is much more my style but the classics are still nostalgic. Listening to sirens in the car with my dad as i write this.
Wow, I’m a huge fan of many artists because my parents played them in the car as I grew up. I never thought of that happening with Imagine Dragons as well, so awesome
When an artist gets so popular, the demographic question kind of fades into obscurity.
What I mean by that is that, the reach that this kind of music has transcends demographic groups and it's strange and hard to put numbers and shit on. But if I'm willing to guess, the 20 to 30s is the hot demographic.
22, got their NV album for free off Google music way when it released (or a year after I can't remember) and the rest is history. Was able to see them live on their last tour and plan to see them again in August if resale is cheap enough
also 22, and i’ve been listening for about 11ish years or so. they were one of the first bands i discovered on my own and their music has been with me through lots of ups and downs over the years
I'm 29, saw them live at my country's Lollapalooza in 2018, I knew very few songs from them beforehand but was completely amazed by the show so that very same night after coming home I started looking up their songs and well, here I am to this day!
21, heard Radioactive back in 2012 or 2013, then I stopped listening back in 2015. Then I heard the Evolve-era songs, and then came Origins, and I've been a (sort-of) die-hard fan, listening to the EPs and obscure stuff...
But yeah, I can agree that ID is the soundtrack of my life at this point. lol
I’m 18 now, but I’ve been listening to Radioactive since it came out (I was about 7). I’ve accumulated a few of their popular songs a few years after that them became a full-on fan 2 years ago!
42, my 13 year old likes them too. I heard Follow You playing at Hot Topic and I googled the lyrics because silly me thought it was a song I remembered from the 90s, possibly by The Urge. My son couldn't believe I didn't know it was them 🫢
I’m also 22, I heard radioactive in 2013 and have loved them since
I’m such An Old that my 9 year old son is really into them. Going to surprise him with tickets as an early birthday gift!
Same here! My 10 year old is really into imagine dragons
Same here my 10 year old listens to their music non stop so im surprising him with tix

I’m 33 and I honestly thought most of the demographic was around my age. I didn’t realize I was so old
Yeah, I honestly made the question out of curiosity. Often I scroll on the sub and see so many posts that seem to be written by kids
That actually makes a lot of sense now haha
Im 32! Im less surprised.. I've noticed most the fans here favor the newer stuff so I just assumed they became fans later on in IDs history
i’m 20 pretty much the same. listening since nv
Yeah a lot of the fand I've seen are in their late teens-early 20s. I'm 15 (younger end loll, none of my irls love ID as much as I do)
Yeah, not only that but I’ve seen many children at their shows
Same here, I’m 15 and none of my friends like ID as much as me
21 I'll be 22 in August.
I'm 40. Practically ancient amongst fans apparently.
I’m 41, solidarity.
51...
38
I'm in your age range, homie. My bones may be aching, but I'm still rocking out in the pit. ✊🏼
31, have been listening since Night Visions and have seen them live 6 times, soon to be 7

Oof I’m old lol I heard it’s time in 2012, the year after I graduated high school. Been a fan ever since 🤷♀️
I was starting middle school when I first listened back in late 2013. Its a varied fanbase, but leaning towards the younger side for sure
Man I feel old seeing these comments. I was a freshman in high school when I first heard radioactive
...14. dang im so tiny compared to yall

Awww your father must be a very cool dad! 😄💯
14 through to 41 is what I've seen here, love the variety. I myself am 17, on the younger end

I’m 23, been a fan of them since 2015, and I went to my first ID concert in 2022. It was the best experience of my life
