I don’t know if that’s true, I think if groups truly are segregated all the time they start to harbor bigoted and shitty opinions on other groups. The one thing I’ve noticed though is that when they actually come into contact with those groups they seem to drop their shitty views and realize that there’s a lot more that we have in common. I think the most important thing is having those experiences.

This is the goal of the political parties. Divide us into groups, segregate us, then have the opinionated networks spin the narrative to to fuel the negativity of each group to the other group. It's absolutely sickening to watch and even worse when you see how ppl are believing it.
I have a fear of heights. But for me at least...it goes away after a certain height.
Some friends even convinced me to go skydiving. I was absolutely terrified when we took off in a plane with the doors open and the wind was rushing in, but once we hit the clouds it went away. Then on the way down it was the opposite, no fear the entire time down with the parachute and then when we get towards the ground...bam fear of heights kicks back in.

Well, "racism" is not a simple measurement. Different places have it worse, but economical inequality is still pretty widespread. So it depends on what you are talking about.
Southern US here, Nashville specifically. There is not, nor have there ever been any cattle driven through here. The only people who wear cowboy hats around here are tourist and country music singers from the 90’s

As a person who's been in food retail for three years I confidently say that positive social interactions between people of different cultures, races, and lifestyles get along and socialize all the time, l've been able to witness it first hand and it always puts a smile on my face.

This is normal. Almost every compliment I have ever gotten on my cowboy hat has been from a black dude. The few that weren't were one black girl and an old white lady who was absolutely delighted by it. People are just people most of the time.

I once had a layover in San Salvador for 5 hours and I sat at a cafe type area to charge my phone and wait. In that time, I saw a group of two men drinking beers and absorb 5 different people into their group to chat and laugh and share stories. They talked about where they were going and where they were from, it was awesome. I wish I was more extroverted to have joined them
I'm a foreigner in the country i live. So i went to a camp with school one day and the "racists" acted real nice when they got drunk, and said that they actually don't hate me.
I'm not saying go and drink alcohol, but it's interesting to see that when the "feelings" get numb, people act with their heart.
