Okay thank god because I was scared you were serious 🤣 the living room walls were never painted since we moved in, because I have decision paralysis! Love the idea of a sassy apricot!!
I do too … well except for the living room haha. That was the color the walls were when we moved in and just haven’t gotten around to painting them.
However, I’m wondering if the sage-y green of the dining room will clash with the coastal blue-green of the bathroom?
Thanks, I did it myself 😘 it’s actually just the grout I fucked up, obviously got some on the ceiling which I am working on cleaning off. You’re so sweet to notice!
I'm a fan of neutral greige shades consistently throughout the home. I feel it makes the house feel less chopped up and gives me maximum flexibility on decorating. Same with flooring. But I can see adding a pop of color in bathrooms. I would go with a nice light greige throughout the downstairs and staircase and let your bathroom shine independently.
Yes we have original hardwood throughout the entire first floor and I intend to keep that for flow!
So what I’m hearing is to paint the dining, living and staircase all the same color? Any particular shade you recommend? Greige scares me a bit, it looks so dull on the wall of paint chips! 😅
I’ll look up the color we used. Yes I put it literally everywhere in our majorly renovated home. Yes it can be dull if you’re used to vibrant wall colors, but I see it as clean and bright, and prefer to add my pops of color through rugs, art, lots of plants. I’ll get back to you.
Yes- more grey. Definitely more grey.
You say grey, I think “prison cell grey”. Any particular shades you recommend to bring warmth? 😊
I apologize- I was being facetious. There is so much grey in the house! I would try a gentler color- light golden yellow! Maybe a sassy apricot?

Thank you so much! I’ll take a look
I like what you have

May I suggest Benjamin Moore’s Gray Owl. It will pickup the grey in the tile and it’s a light and bright hue.
Where would you use this paint color? I just looked it up and it’s a really nice neutral, but I worry about too much (Millenial) gray
I’ve used gray owl in several areas (bathroom, small bedroom) and it really seems to brighten up a room without screaming Grey. It’s a good neutral.
Good to know! Maybe it would be a good idea for the hallway / entryway / staircase?
You can always buy a small sample and try out the color in different areas before committing to a gallon.
Terrible tile job
