Think it was cash on delivery but they just took it from the driver without paying.

Ya that's what happend. He ordered it himself but then took it without paying!

I wonder could he just claim that he did pay the driver, would be his word against the drivers. Hard to prove either way.

We thought that ourselves or even if he just didn't answer the door or said it wasn't even him! Not much they could do! Hopefully he just paid up!!!

Oh right, well thats a bit different. I thought they just accepted a pre-paid dinner. Nabbing a free dinner I wouldn't do myself but I'd see it as a bit cheeky. Taking a dinner and refusing to pay is outright scumbaggery.

I’ve accidentally done this before. There’s a bunch of us in the house and about twice I’ve taken in a delivery thinking it belongs to one of my family members but it turns out to be someone else’s. I wasn’t able to return one of them because I didn’t know who owned it (there was just a code on the bag) or where it came from. Calling the guards for this was a bit much.

No no he didn't take it by accident! He ordered it, and then he just took it without paying! The delivery guy called the guards I think!
