That was one of the first not great sounding Vaults. It's because they were so damn loud in that tiny space. Good show, but I think Blue Veins is cut due to time.

If I remember rightly there's a clue on the sleeve that directs you to a digital download of Blue Veins.

i have it - for 20 euros? for sure. i like it, but its more like a live room tape sounding compared w las vegas stripes or whatever

Honestly the Live at Third Man series don’t sound great in general. They are mixed live and I think that has a lot to do with it.

Don't get it!! I've had 3 and all 3 sound awful. Not only were there pressing issues (2 of the 3 had physical damage for some reason), but the blue and black split also just makes it sound awful. There are test pressings that theoretically sound better (all black) as well as an official release digitally on [nugs.net](http://nugs.net)

I’ve got the black and blue split but I don’t think I’ve listened to it since it was first released. I’ll give it a listen later and see what I think nowadays. £20 is alright for the artwork alone imo.

Montauk_123

Maybe the worst sounding record I own. :(

It’s pretty bad. There is an audible swooshing noise on my copy where the blue and black come together. A lot of people complained about it when it was released. If you’re a completists that’s a fair price.
