The cost of printing and shipping just one poster is absurdly high, I'd need to make a full run of prints to make it more affordable and I don’t know if there’s enough interest not to mention I couldn’t even promote it here as one of the admins is insane and already full of vile, unwavering hate towards me lol
As part of an “unofficial interest count”, I would totally buy one of these to get framed. Or buy the file off you to have printed at a local shop? I don’t know if that’s legit or not!
I’d need at least a run of 50 pcs so it would make sense and the cheaper option would be screenprinting actually and this is probably the best place to promote a run of the poster but I couldn't even post about it because that hateful admin would go after me like a rabid animal again lmao
There's also the issue of regular people being unfamiliar with the high costs of limited edition posters done by independent artists, they just wouldn’t pay such prices especially when they can get a low res cheap knockoff on Facebook marketplace from some guy in China who downloaded an image from Twitter or Instagram.
This poster truly is a work born out of love and honest admiration for an amazing and inspiring musician and his story, that it managed to catch the eye of said artist and thus has connected so deeply with fans who feel the same way I do about JW and the WS is really the cherry on top.
I feel specially moved people in this sub loved it so much, it feels like vindication after being cruelly attacked by an admin who turned into such a rabid animal and directed her hate towards me in such a toxic way… the love I got from this sub on this post in the form of upvotes, comments and DMs feel like a second victory (the first one being actually getting noticed by The Man and getting to work with OJ who's one of the kindest big name artists I’ve ever worked with)
