I think he's having fun trolling people. If these posts didn't get attention- as in people commenting in all kinds of (dis)approving ways- he'd probably stopped already IMO
Oh, so much fun! Maybe he was snockered going into the great unknown, thinking he is climbing the highest mountain. And then there might be a little slew of water, and he would say, "I can't swim," just like the movie Robin Hood, men in tights, ....tight tights, buhahaha. It's fun to be had by all, but watch that first step, pal it's a boozy boozy. I am a silly woman.
It seems like both. He started spiraling when he split with Karen. He went full midlife crisis as the pandemic went on. Seemed like he was trying to be youthful and vibrant for Olivia. This last tour was unsurprisingly good. But my group referred to it as the midlife crisis tour.
I think he’s coming out of that now. But this weird social media fixation has me a little concerned. But if he does what he does and turns these weird times into great music, I don’t see the harm. I just hope he’s in a good head space. He’s given us so much, he deserves to have time to focus on his own mental health.
Yeah. He’s just a dude. A very talented dude that has touched a lot of lives. But still a real person dealing with real life like the rest of us. You’d think we would be able to talk about that here. But a lot of people will tear you down for anything less than performative adoration.
I’m sure he’s not so pathetic as to need his ego to be constantly stroked by strangers. Not that there is any shortage of that if he did.
This is the natural result of surrounding himself with sychophants and blocking everyone who doesn’t walk on egg shells. He doesn’t have to try and he knows it.
He’s posting literal pictures of dirt and fans are saying it “means something”. He could post a pile of cow dung and JackWhiteInColor would use google lens to tell everyone what the cow ate for dinner and what it’s cholesterol levels are. Jack White fans make Swifties look normal.
