Visvim is insane where I live. I like wtaps and neighborhood they’re more reasonable price wise and still cool. But more than anything I just hound sales and buy things at a discount
Yah, the more clothing I have the less I “need” anything and can now just choose the best sale price stuff that’s worth adding to the collection. There’s a certain joy in beating the game and landing great pieces off retail.
There’s also a pretty robust consignment market in my city.
Joe & Co, Universal Works, and Blacksmith Store are some of the UK workwear brands that are more affordable. Olderbest carries Chinese brands like Bob Dong, Bronson, Non Stock etc., sizing is a bit weird, sleeves are a couple of inches shorter than normal UK size, their customer service seems to be aware of that and will email to confirm your measurement when you place the order.
Affordable doesn’t really mix with these styles/brands because a lot of the value is in the craftsmanship and material. Honestly your best bet is Uniqlo or second hand.
The Koreans are your answer. Look at Frizmworks, Uniform Bridge, Eastlogue, Outstanding & Co, and Big Union. Excellent quality, much less expensive. Download the MUSINSA app to find some of these brands…only 15 dollars shipping to the States and Canada
Also check out some of the many Japanese brands at https://www.haku-clothing.com, some of which are surprisingly affordable considering the quality and design, one being Fob Factory, which you can also find for very reasonable prices here: https://bears-tokyo.myshopify.com/collections/fob-factory
Bronson Mfg

Mr Porter carries these brands and has a sale on at the moment. The Outnet is also good for getting ‘old’ pieces massively discounted.
