The only setting I have in my sound system settings is to turn off and on the touch tone sounds. There's no option for Bluetooth sound quality there. I also looked in other places in the system menus but found nothing like this. My car is a 23 Sport M6 with the base 4 speaker (horrible) system.
I got 2021 Jetta and was super disappointed with the audio. Had to turn the mids to -4 on the eq just for it to sound somewhat normal. Wish I would e got one with the beats audio. Going to have to pay a shop to put some subs in
My solution was to replace the speakers with some kickers. And then make a difference but it still isn't the best but at least it is listenable.
Looking into getting kicker CS series 2 way. Are these the ones you got?
Yes I got two pairs of Kicker CS. The stock speakers have rivets so you will have to drill them out. https://a.co/d/7bE8t9y
Bluetooth has always been lower quality sound, these cars still sound bad it's not just the bluetooth

I will check this out tomorrow, for sure. Carplay sounds horrible vs BT on this car. Where did you find that steering wheel cover btw?
I really hate the lag when connected to CarPlay via Bluetooth. Little to no lag when you connect via cable
