You need springtails or other decomposers and you can reduce misting to twice a week

I’ve had some of my jumpers spider wood/moss go “moldy” but it usually clears up by itself! Usually just means you are keeping the tank TOO humid, reducing misting / don’t mist decor directly and you should be good!

Thanks 😊 it looked like a web at first between the moss and wood, but then I noticed that the wood itself was furry. Would it be worth removing the moss to reduce the humidity and let the soil dry out a bit? The soil and moss do look very damp.

I think that may be your problem then ahah! that sounds exactly like the mold I had in mine. You can remove the moss and that should help! :)

Thank you 😊

putting a clean up crew in there (springtails) would help the mold too but it’s not needed. Mine have been fine without them. :)
