Given your total cholesterol is only right over the border of ideal (for US, it's 200), combined with all the other improvements in your bloodwork, your doctor is right and you should keep on doing what you're doing. The lowered triglycerides and LDL levels and static (even slightly improved) HDL level mean you're on the right track and have already greatly improved your heart health. Congratulations, and keep up the good work!

I have similar. I do however eat closer to carnivore most days and my triglycerides are only 58.

The direction of them looks good. Note that hba1c isn't a great absolute measure as it can be about 0.6% higher or lower for people because of genetics.

NovaNomii

Everything is going in the right direction or neutral, looks great

Cholesterol went up by not by much at all

NovaNomii

Glucose dropped by a lot, extremely positive Triglycerides dropped by a lot, extremely positive Hdl got a slight increase, so small that its neutral, but going in the right direction. Ldl got a decent increase, nothing massive, still inside currently known optimal ranges. Even if his ldl went to 200, it would still be positive.

Yup. Awesome results

You can just lower your saturated fat intake if you’d rather try that before meds. LDL goes up on keto because we eat so much of it. Trigs go down because we stop eating carbs

Thanks! And good on'ya for getting that A1C down. The high-fat nature of Keto means higher cholesterol should be expected. I don't know of doc will prescribe me cholesterol meds, but I doubt I'll take them. I will try to cut back on some of the fattier stuff. Trigs should go down because we aren't consuming as much sugar. So, yeah, all-in-all, I'm pleasantly pleased with my results.
