Must haves are really based on your preferences. For me I think people should try things like the MODE Sonnet. But that may not be for you. Is there a certain look or a particular form factor that you want to try?

Anything Mode. I also really like the Bauer Lite, though I don’t have one… yet

Mode fans, lets gooo. I really support the idea of atleast getting one mode keyboard, the build experience, the quality, everything about it is awesome

Yep, I did a ton of research before picking my first board to custom build. Mode was a relatively easy choice

I agree, Mode Envoy, Bauer Lite. Love the modular options for both

You're looking to spend more money on a keyboard? Then get something a lot nicer than what you already own. The F75 and the Air 96 aren't bad keyboards but next time out, get a keyboard kit and then get something that is a real step up in price. You already have 'budget' boards; I personally think it would be rather meaningless if you got a Rainy75 for example. I have a Mode Envoy and a Cycle 7; and I really like my Mode keyboard. Of course, personal preference plays a huge role and it depends what layout works for you; I know by now I'm a 65% guy. But typical of me to say this: maybe get a Mode Designs keyboard; they are that nice. My friend also just picked up a Mode Sonnet and he already had really nice prebuilts but he really *loves* his Sonnet. I just love their design language overall. Their keyboards really tie the room together.
