This absolutely bonkers Japanese manga about the life of Napoleon Bonaparte. Think *Fist of the Northstar* but itās Napoleon.
*Napoleon: Age of the Lion* by Tetsuya Hasegawa. Thereās no official English translation available but there are workarounds to getting it on Kindle.
Itās still more accurate than Ridley Scott!
I'm currently reading this one too. I started it in on audiobook this morning during my work commute but will finish most likely this weekend on my Kindle.
I agree with the other poster, I read it after hearing about how amazing it is, and didn't find it lived up to the hype. It wasn't bad, but i just didn't find it to be as amazing as I was led to believe it would be
I grabbed a sample of that so I donāt forget about it - Iāve never read anything by Sanderson - do you recommend it so far? (my friend said I like low fantasy base on what Iāve really enjoyed)
I'm going into Mistborn next ...great story and character development....you will get lost in another world...
Pretty much the reason that I read....lol
His YA series Skyward is the only other series Iāve read so far! Brandon is very good at world building but once you get everything settled he deserves the praise of being one of the best authors of our time
A friend of mine recommended it, she wasn't wrong, it's a masterpiece and I loved everything about it. She also told me there's a tour around the places mentioned in the book in Barcelona!
Don Quixote.
Up next as possibilities are
Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow
The three body problem series
American dirt
The war of the worlds
And a bunch of others
I read Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and I liked itā¦ but I read it because everyone else was and the cover is so pretty hahaha so basically all the wrong reasons. Itās not something I would have chosen, but it was good. Frustrating and good. If you like nerdy stuff, youāll like it!
I hated it. I really enjoyed the first half and then found the second half just absolutely horrible. Itās so rare for me to come across someone else who disliked it. I wish I loved it as much as everyone else seems to.

Just starting it! Hoping to finish before the end of June
Iām currently reading Pestilence by Laura Thalassa and Powerless by Elsie Silver. Iāve just started both of them so Iām not very far into either, but Iām enjoying them so far.
Outlander. It's good (after the first few chapters, before Jamie came into the picture felt slow, turns out I'm extremely bored by Frank) but it's not exactly a read I'm breezing through in a day or 2.
A Good Girls Guide To Murder. Wanted to reread it before the TV show come out on the 1st. Will be the first time I've ever read the source material before watching the TV show and also before it existed.
Way shorter than I remembered though. But that could be because I read all three back-to-back and that caused me to misremember the individual lengths of the books.

91% in and itās absolutely amazing. Iām usually a psychogical thriller or horror gal, so this has been an unanticipated pleasure to read. I have avoided reviews because the ending appears to be controversial, so pretty stoked to see what happens!
This is my next physical book to read. I read Project Hail Mary on Kindle, then purchased the physical book. I got my husband into it and now my son and me are listening to the audiobook.
Almost done with The Martian and am loving it. Will definitely add Project Hail Mary to my book wishlist. My next read though will be Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton
I really hope you enjoy Project Hail Mary. I think it was fantastic.
I decided I'm going to wait til my son finishes Project Hail Mary before I begin The Martian. (My son is an audible guy, I'm a book reader).
My son got to Chapter 20. He can't wait to continue lol. He was really trying to do an all nighter tonight to complete it. I had to send him to bed lol. We should be able to get to about 3 more chapters tomorrow.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Reread.

**Children of Time** Almost at half way point. Not completely sold on this one just yet itās been a bit of a mixed bag but Iām hoping itās setting the stage for something great.
**True Believer** 2nd book in the Terminal List series. First book was a great revenge story, thought the changes made in the TV series were completely unnecessary and hurt the story. The most recent book that just came out has a sci-fi angle to it which got me to pick this one up.
Whats funny is when i got my Kindle that's exactly what I read in that order... absolutely hated the whole jade series... pushed through it because I'm not a quitter... but I definitely didn't like it. Sword of Kaigen I'm mad there's no part 2.
If heard people either really love the jade series or are really struggle to find it interesting. But that is so ironic you read the same books in the same order, what a coincidence.
Iāve heard that about Sword of Kaigen, but also I am kinda excited for a one off book in this genre. Everything seems to be at least a trilogy.
I love Camus.
I am just about to finish āWhen Genius Failed: The Rise and Fall of Long-Term Capital Managementā by Roger Lowenstein and will be turning to āFooled by Randomness: The Hidden Role of Chance in Life and in the Marketsā by Nassim Nicholas Taleb next week.

Outlander. It's good (after the first few chapters, before Jamie came into the picture felt slow, turns out I'm extremely bored by Frank) but it's not exactly a read I'm breezing through in a day or 2.
Outlander will make you wonder what to do with yourself once youāre done. The show is great too.
I read the whole series in two weeks during Covid lockdown. It's still one of my most reread series.
