im sorry are you reading from space???

PacZav

Yes šŸ˜ Nah, some days I just turn off the lights and use my AliExpress lights šŸ¤£ https://preview.redd.it/4oug22ncgf9d1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a7b221885fa1d4b7c8e2401f3ac9656205983e93

Advanced-Country6254

I need the link to get those!!!!

PacZav

Guys it was a gift from my girlfriend I don't have the link hahaha but search for it as astronaut Light or idk

pennyproud1908

Haha! Seriously, I scrolled to the comments to find out WHERE OP was reading and was shocked to skip over some many posts of what people were reading to find out where.

tiraf815

I am also reading this, I've read everything Freida McFadden has written.

rosebabiie

I got hooked on her after reading Never lie

sarahmariegoesfree

I am reading the first one

rosebabiie

It's so good!! Have you read Never lie?? I almost threw my kindle when I finished it lol

sarahmariegoesfree

In that case I shall mark it as "want to read" on Goodreads!

bookedflynn

I unfortunately thought it was the least interesting one of the series šŸ„²

HarrietOleson1

So jealous Iā€™m not ready to spend the money on it yet. It will probably be a while before my library gets it. But I did finish The Housemaids Secret last night. Loved it.

JonRend

If you have kindle unlimited theyā€™re free to read at the moment. Theyā€™re for me, but Iā€™m in the UK so I donā€™t know if theyā€™re free every where.

Dmony429

šŸ˜† that sounds awesome! What's the name of it?

NGC3992

*Napoleon: Age of the Lion* by Tetsuya Hasegawa. Thereā€™s no official English translation available but there are workarounds to getting it on Kindle. Itā€™s still more accurate than Ridley Scott!

The Midnight Library

McPorkums

This book eased my mind a bit

Kansasgrl968

I'm currently reading this one too. I started it in on audiobook this morning during my work commute but will finish most likely this weekend on my Kindle.

Joeclu

Do you like it? It really wasnā€™t really good for me. I expected better.

1127i3

Not the person you replied to but I found it incredibly shallow.

barrettcuda

I agree with the other poster, I read it after hearing about how amazing it is, and didn't find it lived up to the hype. It wasn't bad, but i just didn't find it to be as amazing as I was led to believe it would be

v_ofc

I found it to be one of the best books I read this year! I cried so many times as a lover of the time loop theory!

PacZav

Do you recommend it? I wanna read that one after this

Defiant-Humor5586

I would recommend it šŸ‘

8bithummingbirb

Such a nice read!

GroundbreakingCase93

Mistborn Brandon Sanderson

rincewindsbeard

Way of Kings for me :)

GroundbreakingCase93

Thatā€™s the next series Iā€™ll read by him!

casualToad

I grabbed a sample of that so I donā€™t forget about it - Iā€™ve never read anything by Sanderson - do you recommend it so far? (my friend said I like low fantasy base on what Iā€™ve really enjoyed)

zclonce

The whole Cosmos is very good but the original Mistborn trilogy is a great way to get into it. I absolutely loved it so I would recommend it

Stone-1465

I'm going into Mistborn next ...great story and character development....you will get lost in another world... Pretty much the reason that I read....lol

GroundbreakingCase93

His YA series Skyward is the only other series Iā€™ve read so far! Brandon is very good at world building but once you get everything settled he deserves the praise of being one of the best authors of our time

foxyladypersonyeah

Me too :) Loving it so far! One of the best written books Iā€™ve read in a long time

superawes0me

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz ZafĆ³n

Training-Eye3886

I love this book so much!

80sSadPlaylist

A friend of mine recommended it, she wasn't wrong, it's a masterpiece and I loved everything about it. She also told me there's a tour around the places mentioned in the book in Barcelona!

The Outsider by Stephen King

Ghostusmc99

Don Quixote. Up next as possibilities are Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow The three body problem series American dirt The war of the worlds And a bunch of others

Impressive_Figure_46

I read Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and I liked itā€¦ but I read it because everyone else was and the cover is so pretty hahaha so basically all the wrong reasons. Itā€™s not something I would have chosen, but it was good. Frustrating and good. If you like nerdy stuff, youā€™ll like it!

Ghostusmc99

Yep. I kinda read everything. I saw people talking about it and looked it up. Read the description and then got it. Peaked my interest enough.

Thr0waway0864213579

I hated it. I really enjoyed the first half and then found the second half just absolutely horrible. Itā€™s so rare for me to come across someone else who disliked it. I wish I loved it as much as everyone else seems to.

Failingupwardss

I accidentally joined the three body problem subreddit and since then Iā€™ve been debating reading the books lmfao. Lmk if you read them and if theyā€™re worth it

Ghostusmc99

I keep hearing they are. My best friend is the one who suggested it, since we're both into scifi books

dakota50531

Iā€™m currently reading Pestilence by Laura Thalassa and Powerless by Elsie Silver. Iā€™ve just started both of them so Iā€™m not very far into either, but Iā€™m enjoying them so far.

Secure_Protection348

The horsemen series was soooooooooo good

dakota50531

Iā€™m excited to get into it. The only thing throwing me off with the first one so far is the parentheses.

Ravlinn

Outlander. It's good (after the first few chapters, before Jamie came into the picture felt slow, turns out I'm extremely bored by Frank) but it's not exactly a read I'm breezing through in a day or 2.

happywitch420

Outlander will make you wonder what to do with yourself once youā€™re done. The show is great too.

WVgirly2024

I read the whole series in two weeks during Covid lockdown. It's still one of my most reread series.

Ravlinn

Idk if this makes sense - it's the kind of book I have to put down every once in a while to process what's happened.

TokyoRailgun

A Good Girls Guide To Murder. Wanted to reread it before the TV show come out on the 1st. Will be the first time I've ever read the source material before watching the TV show and also before it existed. Way shorter than I remembered though. But that could be because I read all three back-to-back and that caused me to misremember the individual lengths of the books.

LoveYouNotYou

I'm currently reading it in physical form. I didn't know it would be a tv show. It's ok so far. I'm about halfway through.

zdefni

https://preview.redd.it/j8nz0q62hf9d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=42b8a24e908fcae5cfcf758ef007f37e448c12f4 91% in and itā€™s absolutely amazing. Iā€™m usually a psychogical thriller or horror gal, so this has been an unanticipated pleasure to read. I have avoided reviews because the ending appears to be controversial, so pretty stoked to see what happens!

hungrybrainz

you convinced me. itā€™s now on my Kindle.

ACOTAR. Not really my thing, but reading it in sync with a friend, and that makes it pretty fun.

PullingACortez

The Martian by Andy Weir. Just finished The Troubled Girls of Dragomir Academy by Anne Ursu.

LoveYouNotYou

This is my next physical book to read. I read Project Hail Mary on Kindle, then purchased the physical book. I got my husband into it and now my son and me are listening to the audiobook.

PullingACortez

Almost done with The Martian and am loving it. Will definitely add Project Hail Mary to my book wishlist. My next read though will be Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton

LoveYouNotYou

I really hope you enjoy Project Hail Mary. I think it was fantastic. I decided I'm going to wait til my son finishes Project Hail Mary before I begin The Martian. (My son is an audible guy, I'm a book reader). My son got to Chapter 20. He can't wait to continue lol. He was really trying to do an all nighter tonight to complete it. I had to send him to bed lol. We should be able to get to about 3 more chapters tomorrow.

**Children of Time** Almost at half way point. Not completely sold on this one just yet itā€™s been a bit of a mixed bag but Iā€™m hoping itā€™s setting the stage for something great. **True Believer** 2nd book in the Terminal List series. First book was a great revenge story, thought the changes made in the TV series were completely unnecessary and hurt the story. The most recent book that just came out has a sci-fi angle to it which got me to pick this one up.

Jade City by Fonda Lee, then after I am gonna read The Sword of Kaigen by M. L. Wang

twister829

Whats funny is when i got my Kindle that's exactly what I read in that order... absolutely hated the whole jade series... pushed through it because I'm not a quitter... but I definitely didn't like it. Sword of Kaigen I'm mad there's no part 2.

Robob69

If heard people either really love the jade series or are really struggle to find it interesting. But that is so ironic you read the same books in the same order, what a coincidence. Iā€™ve heard that about Sword of Kaigen, but also I am kinda excited for a one off book in this genre. Everything seems to be at least a trilogy.

I just started Gideon the Ninth (I am aware I am way behind the times on this!) and am loving it. I especially like that every so often there will be a sentence and I'm like "that's right, the author is a fellow Kiwi". I also just bought and am going to read The Cybernetic Tea Shop by Meredith Katz because the synopsis sounded so good. It's short so I may take a break from Gideon the Ninth to zip through it.
