Leo before release was said to be not part of the LCU by the director Lokesh Kanagaraj. But had forced connections to the LCU except for a policeman Character named Napoleon from Kaithi. Just before credits there's a phone call to Vijay who's playing Leo from Kamal who's playing Vikram where he says "we need to burn a lot more to make this society drug free"
What's absurd is that Leo burns down the Dathura drug factory of his family cos he wants to move on from life of crime but his father and uncle won't let him live in peace as Parthiban. He has no noble intentions to do anything good to the society and only cares about his family. So the drug free society meme was born and now every character Kamal plays is mocked with that line.
But the cause of that goes to the crew for hyping the Leo character so much and also Loki for giving unnecessary promotional statements like it is 100% his film as if it is his best work. The fans would have never overanalyzed that much if these didn't happen in the first place
