Inspired from this scene.

Her portions were equally shitty too and Nayan is a significantly better actress with a better career and lineup ahead.
Why do Sam fans here have this unnecessary hatred towards Nayan that you guys try to put her down even in unrelated posts?
Tbf that's her entire career, just looking good on screen. This is why commercial cinema has terrible roles for women, when people like you just want eye candies
Did I put her whole career down? Or say this movie she was overshadowed? They acted in the same movie, how can I not draw comparison?
Ofc the criticism will feel harsh if you call yourself a superstar. Donāt be insecure. Like how Nayan was to Mamta or Asin or Malvika.
If I talk about her performances and her recent list of clueless films as lead itāll go down the route that you might not like. I only wish for her to make good films and blockbusters. Letās stop here.
Nobody is insecure, if anyone is, it is the PR team of certain actresses who keep pushing news about how their client is "first choice" for all the roles when in reality they have only a podcast in hand
Avulo mosamava iruku? I thought it's a nice scene. If it wasn't Vijay Sethupathy, this scene might be cringe. But his acting made it work, at least for me
Finally! One other person who isn't as sophisticated as the other film school movie critics š¤£.
We're Tamil movie audience da. There's waaayyy more cringe stuff in our Repertoire. Indha scene I took it as a show of innocent love. Like VJS is a Dad himself. It's the sort of stuff we do with kids la. I'm sure he tapped into that for this scene.
With just the right amount of suspension of disbelief, with the incredibly soothing score... This scene is quite adorable š.
I think it's wholesome that he tries to cheer her up even if it feels cringe. Anirudh's music really elevates this scene. VJS's voice felt a bit annoying tho.
I always felt NRD story and dialogues are borderline ok. I mean it was good one but a bit uncontrolled execution, the movie could have gone bad. That happened with KVRK. Bad dialogue, comedy didnt land, story with potential wasted.
Just glamour of two heroine and sleepwalking VJS is better actor than 98% actors make it slightly better than the worst.
I didn't hate this scene as such. If you haven't seen the movie and see this scene out of context it will definitely be cringy. But anyways, one person's cringe is another person's idea of romance.
I haven't watched the movie and I don't really find it cringey. Why is having an active imagination cringey? I like adults who have not lost their childlike sense of excitement and imagination.
i didnt even bother to watch the movie, in fact i skip 95% of indian movies running on same formula for decades. but my wife was very eager to watch it and then really enjoyed the movie. imagine the amount of family problems i have....

This scene was exactly in my mind while watching the movie
I came to type this
Ada paavigalaā¦. Indha madhiri cringe panni dhan Vignesh Sivan Nayanthara va usaar pannana?!? https://i.redd.it/gr9y1r9f7f9d1.gif
https://preview.redd.it/5cu3x81dke9d1.png?width=2072&format=png&auto=webp&s=ababc06f2cd4c4c21206c3b9ff1bbbd57c7c439f Samantha kaha ithela thangika venditha irunthuthu, ana samantha worthuh.
Dippam Dappam song š
Best use of this meme lol
I stayed till the end to see how much Sam overshadowed Nayan in this film š«£
vignesh shivn was about to cast keerthy. But it would have been too one sided and he would have made Nayan upset. /s
Her portions were equally shitty too and Nayan is a significantly better actress with a better career and lineup ahead. Why do Sam fans here have this unnecessary hatred towards Nayan that you guys try to put her down even in unrelated posts?
Living upto the name huh
It is factual information. Nayan has multiple solo-lead and big budget high profile movies in multiple industries.
Sam is sexy af, that's a plus for me
Tbf that's her entire career, just looking good on screen. This is why commercial cinema has terrible roles for women, when people like you just want eye candies
glazer
Let Nayan have a better career, let her call herself a superstar, let her have all the success she deserves. āIN THIS MOVIEā Sam is >>>>>>>>
It is okay if you think that but no need to put someone else down especially when this sub loves to hate Nayan

Nahh man if this is the Romantic style of Viki. How TF he got Nayan lol. I'm fuming š¬
I think gurl was hurt by people that she fell for the first genuine but cringey guy
Cringe is better than toxic and unavailable.

yeah i thought this was cute lmao had no idea people hated it so much
Bro, it is okay to be cringe but this is irritating af. If you want innocent love, you can watch Tiruchitramblam or 96. This is a half baked movie
Watched the whole movie only for Samantha š
I think it's wholesome that he tries to cheer her up even if it feels cringe. Anirudh's music really elevates this scene. VJS's voice felt a bit annoying tho.
Dafuq did I just watch? I love the album though, it's really nice.

Itās actually nice.
+1
was about to say
Exactly, romba scene podraanga pa namma aalunga
Concept was fine, just execution is botched af
I haven't seen this movie and I thought that Nayan was playing a mental patient very beautifully.
Is Nayan's character blind in KRK?
Noā¦ just dumb and cringe
Who approved this scene? Anyways, Anirudh was good.
Yeah .. the most irritating cringest scene ever
š¤¢ idellam oru padamnu idha vera praise panranunga sila per. Ore cringe. Adhuvum anda songs vera š¤¢ chaikk.

I saw the movie and it was equally terrible
Understandable. And the age old reasoning- Art is subjective :P
I haven't watched the movie and I don't really find it cringey. Why is having an active imagination cringey? I like adults who have not lost their childlike sense of excitement and imagination.
Last scene was amazing. The phone call from Katrina Kaif.
I assumed this scene is metaphorical or something related to philosophy bs... Paatha onnum illa
Deleted scene from jawan.
If they use vfx or something to show there imagination pov may it will be a better scene š„²
i didnt even bother to watch the movie, in fact i skip 95% of indian movies running on same formula for decades. but my wife was very eager to watch it and then really enjoyed the movie. imagine the amount of family problems i have....
Going by ur username ig you'd have more family problems then I could imagine
Nayan was wayyy past her prime in this movie for people comparing her to Samantha. Sam stands no chance against Raja Rani / Thani Oruvan Nayan lol.
What raja rani, Thani oruvan Nayan like her acting was exceptional there? Bullshit Her acting was mid, the script was great thatās about it
This movie was outright cringe and bad! Survived because Sam was there. Couldn't sit for a minute watching this insane piece of shit
