You can’t stay 48 hours at a jjimjjilbang. You would need to pay for 2 days or 3 or 4if they have a 12 hr time limit. Allowing people to stay over 24 hours would make them a hotel and subject to different regulations.

A jimjilbang rarely has a private room. Oftentimes you can store your luggage but not easily access it during your stay (or at least in my experience because of language barriers). Typically you will be sleeping on a thin mat in a "living room"-type area with others sleeping, eating, talking, playing, or running around you. Here's an article with pictures https://grrrltraveler.com/sleeping-at-korean-jjimjilbang/ In Korean, jimjilbang is 찜질방 or sauna 사우나. But be careful to not accidentally go to a brothel, sometimes labeled as a sauna. How to best avoid it? If you have good wifi, look at the pictures on Naver Maps. I'm not sure where in Seoul you are, but here are a few good locations. I've never been to any of these ones so I can't personally vouch for any of them. So Jjimjilbangs arent meant to be places to lodge in, but people do when they are desperate and/or just for one short night. It’s more a bathing facility & using the hot rooms. Local perception of people sleeping in Jjimjilbang usually is teens who have run away from home or people who cannot stay at home for whatever reason. Also no private rooms & you will definitely be sleeping on the floor. I would maybe look into capsule hotels? Or if staying in Seoul is not a priority, look for places in Gyeonggi-do. Usually cheaper. PC Bangs are also an option, but again not a place of lodging so you will be sitting in front of a computer & probably not getting much sleep.
