No clue, but if it was inspired by the movie thatās kind of shocking. I do see some parts of it (mv) how they are welcoming a stranger and treating them like a king/queen and then it cuts to them frantically trying to run away.

i watched midsommar with some friends of mine in the cinema and none of us were preparedš a friend picked the movie based on the poster that had florence pugh with a flower crown on it, which he thought was pretty. two hours later and we were all just like....okay that was smth
i dont even think the movie was scary i was just deeply grossed out by it. the imagery was so vivid that even after all these years i can recall it so well.
what i do find scary is that apparently a lot of ppl's opinion on the movie's ending was "good for u girlboss", since her shitty boyfriend died, which is just concerning lmao. like girlie fully got indoctrinated into a cult wdym "good for her".
to bring it back to red velvet - i think midsommar was such a good choice to bring the horror feeling to a summer comeback, so props to their creative team
