The modern sports cars are less aerodynamic than people think.
I would be welling to bet the purpose built everyday commuter truck has a lower drag coefficient than a supercar. Ford designed it to get better mileage and therefore have little wind resistance. The Lambo easily makes more use of the air passing around it by turning it into down force. Idk how fast they were going but it's significantly harder to overcome wind resistance at higher speeds. Out of a dig I would probably say the Lambo gets to 60 or 100 maybe a little faster but a roll and go probably goes to the car designed to have less wi d resistance.
having a lower drag coefficient just means that the truck is efficient *for it's size* (specifically, the cross-sectional area). In terms of comparing drag effects on two vehicles (especially with such a large size disparity) the coefficient numbers are just part of the equation.
Trucks can be surprisingly aerodynamic with a tonneau cover and splitter/diffuser combo. Not saying this thing is slippery, just saying we don't know how that truck is set up.

1000hp whipple is easy on a coyote. The turbos go even harder. People unfamiliar with the coyote (or just ford haters in general) truly don’t comprehend how stout the engine is, and how it will take as much boost as you throw at it and ask for more. Gen 3 5.0 is 12:1 compression, port and direct injected, has variable cam timing, and the ports/head design is fantastic. Couple all that with a rotating assembly that will happily spin to 8k and it’s a great recipe to make serious power.
It a V8 engine Ford puts in things. Mostly Mustangs. The cost varies depending on if you get a built one(modified), stock crate, or pulled from a wrecking yard. Google is you friend.
stock coyote, with a Whipple charger, and .3 gear, and a complete fuel system upgrade, says in this video it makes 830 @ the wheels. but the way hes mashing on that button makes me think hes got some NOS going in too, which means on an 4x4 Auto, hes easily north of 1000hp at the crank.

A modded F150 is no slouch though. The 5.0 is similar to the engine in the Mustang so throw some boost in and they fly. Pretty easy to make 700+hp on the 5.0 engines.
I think they also come with the TTV6 which is no joke with some supporting mods either.
Regular cab F150s are really easy to build up and make 700+ hp. I’m honestly ready to trade my Mustang in for a second regular cab F150 (currently also have a 2014 Tremor that’s my daily) to make some real power with.
Best part is you can buy the pick up truck with everything done. Do it for 45K and then you can dog on Lamborghini owners who think they have it because they have money but don’t understand vehicles. there’s a dealership that you can buy these F1 50s they drop a motor in it etc. it’s essentially a work truck directly from the dealership if I remember correctly with base interior package, so none of the bells and whistles. He can do a 4 x 4 package as well with the vehicle.
Nothing new. Modded 18-23 5L's are the best trucks ever for modding to go fast, and that's counting Lightnings, Syclones, and SRT10's. 8n a RCSB setup they're like a Mustang GT with an extra 150 lb more lbs when 2WD, and launch like a GTR with 4WD, while weighing about like a Charger Hellcat when you add a blower.

A properly built coyote will easily push 1000 Wheel horsepower (1200+ crank) and with AWD and a pretty lightweight setup they flat out cook. There's some pretty cool setups where they put the nice interiors/screens in the regular cabs and then do big brakes, suspension, etc. and they're pretty capable rigs.
Probably an FP700. It’s a new package that roush will put on single cab short beds through the dealership. They supercharge the coyote among lots of other street performance focused changes. I think they make right around 700 stock so wouldn’t take much to bump it up to lambo gapping power😂😂😂

Most of those single cab built F-150s of that gen have the 5.0. It’s a coyote so it’s like having a mustang truck. I see these all over YouTube and Instagram with 1100+ hp. Cleetus McFarland did a video of a drag race competition with mostly trucks. All the F-150s were the top competitors. They were all twin turboed or supercharged making well over 1100 hp. Pair that with a 4x4 setup and a 10 speed or a built race trans and you’ll beat 95% of what’s on the road.
