Everyone is shitalking the west and nobody expect anything from us so it makes sense to try to hype things, they just want the game to be competitive, i dont follow korean/chinese casters but im sure they are also biased as fk
They arent really hyping the games though. I wont spoil specific games for you but both teams spent most of the broadcast getting their teeth kicked in. So the cast was mostly acting sad and disappointed.

Absolute neutrality is super boring. The real problem isn't that the casters are biased towards western teams, it's that not enough casters are biased towards eastern teams.
Mix LCK and LCS casters, have them banter a bit and these games would be more enjoyable.

Can you provide some examples? I don't remember hearing anything close to disrespect. The casters praise good plays, call out poor plays. Are they more excited when a western team makes a good play or wins the a game? Sure, because unless you havn't been paying attention, its kind of a rare event which makes it exciting lol.
I just cannot fathom any of these casters being disrespectful. Something must be missing in translation and coming off as disrespectful.
