If it were me, I'd get some of those usb rechargeable spoke lights and led air caps. Then charge them, when not in use, via the usb port on your bike.

asking this anywhere but r/WLED is silly.

I had asked it in the wled community but I find it to be very toxic at times and thought this community would be better. Maybe I'm wrong.

The usb port on the controller probably has a max output of 500watts or less, you probably don't want to draw full power all the time. You could use it as a signal to run a relay connected to the battery with a fuse

I use the usb for a couple of 6vdc taillights, which come on when I turn the bike on. I'm interested in being seen more than being decorative :D My bike has generic bafang components, no idea about other brands... I used an old usb cord & shrink wrap for connections, no solder The 5vdc from usb is close enough for the 6vdc lights [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD9JWYC?ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details&th=1](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD9JWYC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H3PVQPZ?ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details&th=1](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H3PVQPZ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1)
