A lot less consensus that way. If you take the 10th most popular pick, it might have 20 votes, and that's all the trolls it would take to put a Nickelback album on the list.
Perhaps the r/ledzeppelin subreddit is more trustworthy than the r/classicrock subreddit, which gave dozens of votes to Pink Floyd's "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict" for inclusion on a '60s various artists compilation
I know it's probably an unpopular choice, but my favourite is their first album, "Rush". Working Man is my favourite Rush song though.
I like Fly By Night too.
Went to see him live last year. I was wishing he'd play some classics, but he played his new album. Still great, though. But I want to listen to something from Blood On The Tracks before one of us pass away.
That’s awesome that you saw him! I’ve seen him a handful of times by himself, once with Paul Simon, and once with Phil Lesh. One of the shows he did nearly all big-band hits from the 40s which was a little weird. My favorite moment was seeing him and Paul Simon do Sound of Silence
There’s an actual live release of “Europe ‘72” that is a collection of songs from the tour. That album was released in November 1972. The rest of the collection came much later.
I mean, I understand that almost all of these suggestions are absolutely some of the best albums in music history and I love some of them myself but I can’t help but think that this subreddit is kind of stuck in the past musically. Even if it comes to acts other than Zeppelin.

I'll trust this sub and its dignity not to do that😁

That's awesome! I wasn't allowed to go to concerts until I turned 18, so I've only been going to them for barely three years.
That makes me think of the 90s when I’d sneak out of the house to go to concerts :)
The only problem was concerts are about 50-60 miles away from home. Bummer. :')
